Charming, Centrally Located Restored Farmhouse On A Half Acre Of Secluded Lawn
The Orchard House is centrally located in the lakeside village of Baileys Harbor in Door County, Wisconsin. This two-story, quaint farmhouse with fully updated amenities has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms capable of accommodating up to eight guests. Please note that like many buildings of this vintage, the kitchen and living room are a bit on the small side by modern standards. While the Orchard House has sleeping capacity for 8, we recommend a group size of up to 6 adults for maximum comfort. Standing on a half acre of secluded lawn and shaded by ancient apple trees, this is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and get away from it all.
With a playground, marina, sand beach, farmer's market, nature preserve, multiple breweries, restaurants, and food trucks all less than 5 minutes walk away, the Orchard House is an ideal central location for your Door County getaway. Outdoor amenities include private parking, gas grill, picnic table, hammock, porch swing & chairs, lawn chairs, badminton net, bag toss, croquet, and bocce ball. Indoor amenities include central air, WiFi, satellite TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, filter pot coffeemaker, and fully modernized kitchen appliances.
The first floor offers a king size bedroom with en suite bath including a double whirlpool, shower, and gas fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a TV and gas fireplace make up the rest of the first floor. The second floor features a bedroom with one queen bed and en suite bathroom with a bath/shower, a bedroom with a midsize bed, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a hallway bathroom with a bath/shower, plus a laundry room with a washer/dryer.

The house was a perfect place for our family of 6 adults and 2 young children to gather and enjoy Door County! We loved being able to walk to several restaurants and shops. We had a chirping smoke alarm one morning and the host arrived in less than 15 minutes to take care of it.

This house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This worked well for our family of 6 adults. The kitchen is well stocked with all supplies you would need. The location is walking distance to the town hall for their Sunday farmers market and all the restaurants and attractions in town.

We had a wonderful week with family. The house was clean and comfortable and felt like going to Great Grandma’s house. We had 3 grandkids with us and they loved how close we were to a nice park and beach. The Farm (petting zoo) was fantastic and we were just happy we didn’t come home with a baby goat or kittens. :). We played mini golf at Pirates Cove and the guys caught their limit with Silver Streak guide service. The house is close to so much and it was a perfect place to come home to.

The Orchard House's age is part of its charm, this is a 100 year old historic, restored farm house, a fact that we center in our listing. All amenities and appliances are up to date, with the dishwasher, coffeemaker, washer, and dryer in particular all being less than two years old. The building has dual-split central air and WiFi. I'm sorry to hear that this guest did not have a good experience, but I'm honestly at a loss as to what they mean by the furniture being dirty. The vast majority of the furniture in the house is finished antique wood, and the few upholstered pieces all received new cushions earlier this year. Regardless, every piece of feedback, good or bad, is welcomed and helps us to grow.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property. Not only was the location fantastic but the house had so much character and has been expertly maintained. We also had excellent customer service from Sam. He was so kind and went above and beyond when our air conditioning stopped working at 8:30 pm on a Friday night. He had a repair man at the house an hour later and we were back with AC. It was hands down the best customer service we have ever had as a guest. We would absolutely stay here again, our new favorite place!

Relaxing family stay
The perfect spot for our family to stay while on vacation to door county. It was a quiet place to come back to after visiting busy towns like fish creek, sister bay, and egg harbor. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable, check in and check out were so easy.

Lovely home with fully equipped kitchen and walkable to restaurants. The front porch was very enjoyable. Very clean.

Very clean property. Accurate description. This is a very lovely place to stay. Very good accommodations. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with kitchen ware. Even though it's on the main street, it is quiet. Loved sitting on the large front porch. Very close to shops, restaurants. Loved our girls weekend stay!

Cozy home, extremely clean. Great amenities. Close to shops, restaurants, winery. Easy communication. Great place for families with young kids! We had a blast amd it was our first family vacation to Door County with our grandkids.

Thank you for the great weekend! Our book club from the UP enjoyed ourselves and look forward to our next Door County get away! It was nice to have the outdoor games available too! Gardens are beautiful!

It met our needs very well except for the dining area. The table is a adequate for 6 people, but we had 8 adults.

This ample home has everything you need for a restful stay with outdoor games and is in walking distance to great hikes and restaurants.

Loved it!
The property was perfect. We loved it; close to everything and so charming. I enjoyed spending time on the porch. It was clean and just as described.

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay very much. Comfy beds, a lot of bathrooms, clean house. We had a great time here and felt very comfortable with 5 adults and 3 children under 2. Great yard games and the location was perfect! Many restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance.

Wonderful old house in Bailey's Harbor
House was exactly as shown in the pictures. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in a beautiful place.
It was extra clean and very comfortable.

Sisters weekend in Door County
Had a great time. Location is great, can walk to all the main shops, restaurants, bars. House was perfect size for all of us & ver clean when we got there. Would recommend!!

Great place for our family to stay & enjoy the area while up for a family wedding! Loved how close it was to everything! Coffee shop, dinner, beaches, the park a block away for the grandkids! And the badmiton was so fun for the whole family in the in between !Comfy rooms - could have used another queen over the double but we made it work. Thank you for a great home away from home! Hope to stay again some time. :)

Girl’s Trip!
Door County was the perfect girlfriend’s getaway and our stay in Bailey’s Harbor was exceptional. We loved exploring during the day and returning to our VRBO to relax, swing on the porch or walk a few feet to a fun pub/restaurant. Highly recommend if your travels take you to DC!!!

So close to the action, yet peaceful
The location of the property was perfect. We were able to walk to most destinations, a great backyard where the kids could play, and a large playground just across the street. The house has great character and has aged well and been cared for well. The property was a wonderful place to sneak away for a long holiday weekend!

Convenient
We loved the house! It was very roomy, everyone had their own space. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch with our morning coffee. It was close to Lake Michigan and everything else we wanted to do.
