Escape to Island View Lake House – A Secluded Waterfront Retreat

Enjoy peaceful lakefront living just minutes from Fish Creek, Ephraim, Egg Harbor, Baileys Harbor, and Peninsula State Park. This handcrafted lake house offers stunning views from every room, with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, and space for up to 15 guests. A private dock just 50 feet away lets you enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating right from your doorstep. Sorry we do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties or large gatherings. Note, for the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have 1 external security camera in the parking lot of the home.

The home was gorgeous! Beautiful yard, firepit, dock. Very clean. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great tv for the Packer game. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. This home is definitely a 10/10!

Excellent stay. We were 6 adults and had more room than we needed. We loved this property. We made a bon fire with s’mores, canoed around the island and bird watched. Host communicated well. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.

The lake house is a gorgeous house and setting. We really enjoyed swimming and kayaking, as well as stargazing on the dock. The host offered clear and helpful communication leading up to the trip, making check in quite easy. One maintenance issue was addressed within hours the same day it was reported. Other than the WiFi being a little on the slow side, we really had no complaints, even from our 5 teenagers. (And we just said to get off your phone and go outside!) overall wonderful place to spend a week in Door County!

This property exceeded our expectations. We hosted our son, his wife, and two grandsons. House instructions were clear and a well-organized binder gave us all the information we needed to explore the area. The lawn and grounds were immaculate and the kayaks were fun to use to explore the water including an expedition to the island in the middle of Kangaroo Lake. Location was great not just for Bailey's Harbor, but also Sister Bay.

It was an amazing overall experience staying at this property. Our family travels a lot and this was one of our favorites! If you’re worried about the kitchen being stocked- no need! Everything was thought of. There’s a coffee maker and a Keurig-which we love.Plenty of bathroom towels. Just don’t forget your lake towels!Enjoy- worth every penny!

Out group of thirteen had a great time at this property. The house was spacious and well stocked. We really appreciated the numerous gardens/landscaping. There were several nooks to gather for games, puzzles, visiting. The kayaks/canoe were easy to launch and got good use. Next time will make sure to get the bikes out! We especially enjoyed the firefly walks, early mornings on the dock listening to birds and frogs and nightly gatherings around the fire. The property is close to Baileys Harbor so it was convenient for July 4th festivities. The boat parade on Kangaroo Lake was great to watch. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of the lake is perfect and there’s so much to do in the area. The fire pit was really nice and the wood is supplied. Kids really like the hammock. We had 10 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everybody. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Absolutely perfect! The hosts are amazing and thoughtful, always quick to respond to any questions. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We had such an amazing experience and can’t wait to visit again.

Weekend stay

Property was in a great location. The house is gorgeous with so much space! Right on Kangaroo Lake which allowed us to kayak and fish The house was furnished with everything we needed and the host was right there when we had a question. We loved our stay so much we are already talking about when to come back
