FULLY RENOVATED LEISURAMA NEAR THE BEACH - AUGUST AVAILABILITY

One of the original 60's LEISURAMA designed homes a short walk to cullodon shores private beach. What stands out with this home is that has recently gone through an entire renovation. All new kitchen/bathrooms, 6 new skylights installed, new light fixtures as well as fully painted interior/exterior.

there are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and an optional 3rd able to completely close off with a full size fold out and bunk beds. 1 full bath and a second 1/2 bath in master bdm. skylights throughout and a working wood burning fireplace.

outside there is a main deck, a second bistro deck as well as large roof deck allowing a partial view of block island sound. off the main deck is a private outdoor shower.

unique to this home is the abundant landscaping in the style of english gardens offering both a beautiful setting as well as privacy.

available are all the necessary amenities for a terrific vacation. fully stocked kitchen, cable tv , gas grill etc.

the house is in an ideal montauk location less than a mile from gossmans and all the other montauk harbor restaurants, shops and water activities.

An escape

The property is clean, and what a great location in MTK. Our favorites were the roof deck, outdoor shower and the private beach just down the road. Would highly recommend for a great stay and weekend getaway! We had no issues and Dane was a perfect host as well!

Great place!

We booked for the Memorial weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our gateway house. Great facilities, well-equipped house. The deck Was my favorite place. There were so many birds chirping all day long.

Adorable Beach Bungalo

This house is charming. It's a perfect mix of beach vibe and boho chic. Fully locked kitchen, 2 very cute rooms with AC, and a short walk to a lovely private beach. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Cozy and bright beach bungalow

Love this leisurama house! We had the easiest time communicating with our hosts and checking in. The house was a little toasty but luckily there were two AC units. Will definitely consider staying here again if it’s available!

Light and Bright

Beautifully and comfortably furnished and equipped. Clean, white and bright throughout thanks to a myriad of skylights. Great side deck for relaxing and barbecuing in sun or shade. Lush landscaping. Very responsive and helpful owner.

Beauty By the Bay

Such a lovely spot to spend our Fourth of July weekend. The private beach (5min walk) provided a great escape from the busy ocean/town beach on a holiday weekend. The roof deck is tranquil & elegant. The house itself is cozy, well-equipped, and carries a laid back beach vibe throughout.

Great place!

Perfect Getaway for our Family of Four

We had a great weekend at this property. We love the Harbor as it gives us easy access to restaurants/stores (and ice cream) without having to drive the kids all over town. Oh- and some of the best sunsets I've ever seen. The house was updated so it's cute on the inside. There is plenty of space for a family of four with room to spare. The house has an outdoor chimney for fires and a neat lookout for cocktails. The owner was beyond accommodating and responded quickly to all queries. I hope to be back soon! I would reserve again without hesitation.

The best city escape & babymoon

Dane & Amanda's place could not have been more perfect for a month away from the city. My husband and I had plenty of space to stretch, and we particularly enjoyed walking to the private beach (incredibly beautiful and calm), grilling on the spacious deck, and taking walks in the neighborhood in the evenings. Our hosts were also incredibly responsive whenever we needed them. We are already planning to return with our to-be-born baby next summer! Can't recommend enough.

This is our fourth year staying at the property. We love the house with the outdoor decks and seating and the location. We will be back next year!

Perfect!

My wife and I stayed at this house for the weekend with another couple. The house was absolutely fantastic. It features an outdoor patio and upper deck that was great for hanging out in the evening. Dane responded to all my questions quickly and was very helpful and polite. The location is also very convenient as it’s only minutes from some great restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Montauk Getaway

Culloden shores was the PERFECT place to spend Memorial Day weekend! The location was ideal - only a few minutes away from private beach. The house itself was airy, comfortable, and spacious -- with an AWESOME roof deck, patio area, and backyard. The house was close to everything in Montauk. Dane and Amanda were also incredible hosts, available to accommodate any requests. I definitely plan on staying here again and would highly recommend it!

Great Rental

We loved this house! - it's a perfect beach house equipped with everything you could possibly want/need for a relaxing stay in Montauk. Well set up for kids. Awesome patio, outdoor shower and great location in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything. Hosts were super helpful, accommodating and responsive. Highly recommended.

nice, clean and comfortable home

This is the second year my friends and I stayed here. It's a clean and comfortable home in a convenient location to restaurants with a quick walk to the bay beach, and there is a beautiful deck in the back to hang outside. We enjoyed our stay both years.

Lovely Home and Perfect Location

My husband and I stayed at Dane & Amanda's home with our 2 young children and it could not have been better. The home is fully stocked with toys and games for the children and the outdoor deck/yard provided plenty of entertainment for them. We dined on the deck and used the outdoor shower after beach days. The private beach is a 5 minute walk and the home came with everything you needed...abundant sand toys, floaties, umbrellas, chairs, and transport wagon included! Dane and Amanda responded right away when we had a questions and we had no issues throughout our stay. Would 100% rent again.

Perfect beach house

Stylish, comfortable, and exceptionally well stocked, the Leisurama has everything you'd want for a Montauk weekend. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing an alfresco meal, there are plenty of extra throws for a midday nap, and views of the bay all around. Dane was very responsive and helpful, and the stay was a true pleasure.

Perfect casual beach house

What a nice place! Lovely interior, spacious, well maintained, great "special features" like Sonos system, roof top deck, hammock... easy to communicate with host, we felt welcome and had wonderful relaxing days.

Perfectly Magical!

We stayed at Dane and Amanda's house for two weeks and it was fantastic. They were super responsive and helpful - answering any questions almost instantly. The house is beautiful- simple, stylish, and comfortable with everything you could need. The nearby bay beach was perfect for our 3 year old to splash around and the ocean beaches were incredibly close and easy to access. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are super comfortable. The backyard feels secluded and the top deck is great for stargazing. Some days were hot but we didn't need the AC - we just kept the windows open and the ceiling fans going and we were perfectly comfortable. We will definitely go back if we have the opportunity. Couldn't have been more perfect.

Great Stay at Leisure-rama!

Dane's house is great, even better then the pictures. Clean and updated house with a lovely back yard to enjoy al fresco dining. Access to the beautiful private beach is another major bonus, its only 2 blocks away and one of the nicest beaches I have seen in Montuak. And the house comes fully equipped with all the gear you need to enjoy a beach weekend! Would definitely book again!

Exceeded high expectations

The reviews are all good, so we expected a nice place. But it was even nicer in person, with way more interior square footage than you can tell from the pictures (or even from the front of the house when you arrive). Spacious and comfortable. The design is a stylish, breezy mashup of the 1960s Leisurama prefab architecture (repainted bright white) with modern Ikea furnishings (cabinets, faucets and sinks, furniture, rugs, etc). Multiple new skylights really open up the place, giving it a sunny, happy feeling. It looks like something out of a home decorating magazine. Fantastic natural light for pictures too. Like other reviewers have said, pretty much everything you need is at the house: laundry, linens and towels, vacuum, iron, tons of kitchen utensils, plates, glasses and even a drawer filled with children's cups, plates, utensils and straws. Speaking of children, we were there because my wife and children were in a Montauk wedding, and we brought the in-laws to help watch the kids. The place easily fit all six of us (the father-in-law and I are big dudes). We never felt cramped, thanks to the high ceilings and general open feel of the place. A convenient expandable wall divider for the room with the futon created a perfect kids sleeping area. And there were plenty of crayons, paper and toys to keep the little ones (both under age 4) occupied. I also found a ton of beach gear and toys in the outdoor storage shed under the roof deck stairs, so Dane clearly is a pro at having this place ready for summer fun. The wraparound interior yard is surprisingly decent-sized too, especially when you go up on the double roof deck and realize how many other houses are around. There's plenty of privacy thanks to tall plants and although we were there in the fall offseason, it was obvious the place is fantastic for a summer rental (it's literally across the street from the beach). Dane's instruction sheet was really helpful and you can't beat how close the house is to everything: the beach, the shore attractions and even downtown Montauk is just a couple of minutes away. I'll end with this: my wife was really pleased with the place and said she'd love to come back. Trust me, that's the ultimate praise. Thanks Dane!

Bright Clean Getaway

This is a very clean, white, nice home. We loved all the skylights and large windows. We have a 1.5 year old daughter who also had a great time. The house had plenty of toys for her to play with, inside and out. They even provided a clip on high chair for us to use. The house has pretty much everything you could ask for- linens, dishes, pots, coffee maker, beach bags, sand toys, etc... Walk to the private beach was close, and as everyone else has said, the outdoor shower was amazing especially on the really hot days. Oh and we loved the system for the music-separate speakers/volume control for 2 areas controlled by an app on your phone. So convenient! The reason for the 4 stars was that there is no AC. The listing does not say it has AC so my fault for missing this but being 8 months pregnant and the temperature in the high 80's, I was way too hot. It was difficult for my daughter to nap and my face moisturizer actually liquified sitting in the bathroom. On overcast days it was bearable and the breeze was usually really nice but we were home bound during the hottest part of the days b/c my daughter naps then. We discovered that if we closed up all the windows in the morning before it got hot out and left a few of the skylights open just a little, that kept it cooler in the house. If i could give Dane 5 stars i definitely would b/c he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He sent over some portable AC units as soon as he could. I am not sure if they will stay at the house permanently b/c they don't vent out those kind of windows/doors very well, but the fact that he did that for us was really nice and made our last few days much more enjoyable. It goes to show that he really cares about his guests. In cooler weather and for the very accommodating hosts, i give this a 5 star.

Wonderful getaway!

We stayed here for a long weekend while attending a wedding and had a fantastic time. The house was clean, comfortable with a wonderful outdoor space. Close proximity to town, sole east, navy beach etc and walking distance from a beautiful private beach. The added bonus - not only was there a rooftop deck but an OUTDOOR SHOWER which felt like a spa. Needless to say, no one used in the indoor one. Dane was great and very accommodating, even providing a list of various grocery stores. We can't wait to stay again!
