If location is key, then this is the beach house for you! Strategically positioned on the 'morning' side of a deep water canal, with a short 150 yard walk to the ocean on a direct access street, this home has a preferred spot.

Four bedroom floor plan (2-up and 2-down), with three full baths and an open living space on the main level, it accommodates up to 10 guests. Ample outdoor living space off the main level: a screened porch with comfortable seating, a large deck overlooking the water, a covered front porch with bench seating. Outdoor shower and ground level patio with hammock and charcoal grill underneath the house. Fully equipped kitchen will more than serve your needs with dining table for eight and breakfast bar for four.

Enjoy the use of a private dock to swim, play, or dock your boat. Easy deep water access to the Intracoastal Waterway.

Free Wi-Fi, 3 cable TV's available. Enjoy the calm seas and coastal breezes of Ocean Isle Beach at this wonderful location.

Perfect Location

This house was very cozy and the perfect size for our family. The rooms and bed sizes were set up to accommodate our needs. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were large. The kitchen was a great size with lots of kitchenware. Direct beach access with a very short walk to the beach. Well kept dock with bench. The property was very clean. The outdoor spaces had plenty of seating. There was more than enough parking for all of us.

Wonderful getaway

This is the second year my family has stayed in this house. We absolutely love the house and the location. We bring our boat so staying on the canal is important to us. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need. This is a wonderful place to rent for vacation!

Beautiful week

This was a great house. Clean and well stocked. The screen porch is a great addition when the sun gets too hot. Golf cart was delightful to have as we had family in two other houses so we could just ride to them quickly without getting in the car.

Great house and location!

We have been coming to this same beach house now for several years and plan to come again. The owners are great and responsive; house is very nice and spacious. Canal to fish with the kids and golf cart is a really nice amenity. Proximity to beach is great!

Wonderful vacation

Our family has a wonderful time visiting OIB. This house was perfect in every way. We love the location and being on the canal is a plus! Having the use of a golf cart was also a bonus!

Summer Family Vacation

The property was as it was listed online. The space worked well for our family of nine. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. The golf cart and kayaks were definite perks our family enjoyed. The only negatives that could use attention were the shower doors in the canal side master bath, the ice maker slowly makes ice, and the dryer drys very slowly.

Great time!

We had a great time at OIB in this house! Two families with two young kids each and we had plenty of space, plenty of amenities, and would definitely rent here again. There was one small unavoidable maintenance issue (due to the weather), but the owners and maintenance company were very responsive and helpful.

Family time

This was the third year we have stayed at this property. We love the location and the use of the golf cart. The house is lovely and includes a well equipped kitchen. The hosts respond quickly to any questions or issues.

Great Vacation remtal

We loved our week at 6 Leland Street! The house was very clean on arrival and no issues at all. The golf cart was a great addition also (we also rented a large golf cart due to the five grandchildren we had with us.) I highly recommend this house.

Great house with excellent location

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was one of the cleanest we have stayed at, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The location can’t be beat, and we loved having use of the golf cart.

Family trip

This home was beautiful and so clean. It had EVERYTHING you could ever want in a vacation home. The kitchen had more than enough utensils, cookware, dishes, etc. We loved sitting on the deck, screened in porch and under the house. There were kayaks, we didn’t use, and cornhorn boards that we enjoyed. The golf cart was wonderful, even though the walk was a short distance to the beach. The location was great. We loved this home and hope to come back next year.

Excellent!

What a perfect week! Everything was amazingly clean and beautifully decorated. Excellent location and very well stocked in the kitchen. Our only issue was the golf cart had a flat tire the first day and it took 3 days for the property management company to respond and fix it, so we went without the golf cart for several days which was disappointing, but at least by the middle of the week it was ready to use again. We hope to vacation here again!

Successful Family Reunion

My extended family had a reunion at OIB. The majority of the people stayed at a beach house down the road. I had my wife, and two littles along with my mother and uncle. This house was perfect for our needs. The good cart was an added feature that allowed us two conveniently get back and forth. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Beach Trip

We had a fantastic week. House was very clean and met my wife’s high standards as a clean freak. The house had everything we needed. Kitchen and house were stocked with everything we could have wanted or needed. The yard and property was neat even following much destruction from Hurricane that destroyed many properties around the week before. The walk to beach access was very close. We enjoyed the golf cart to cruise around in evening, but did not use much during the day. Everything was so close we walked and carried our things to the beach most days. We would love to stay here again next year if possible. Wonderful host and property!

Wonderful Canal Home

We absolutely love this home on the canal & the town of Ocean Isle Beach! The house is so roomy & comfortable. More than enough seating & comfortable beds for our party of 6. Although some of the living room furniture is getting worn. Still very comfortable. We had coffee on the front porch every morning, except for the morning we rode our rented bikes to Drift(a very nice coffee shop with outdoor seating) & had coffee on their deck. There is also a wine & craft beer shop right next door. We also spent many evenings on the back deck. Having a dock on the canal was also a nice feature. Talked to many of the other families that were renting & homeowners near us while my husband sat on the dock & I floated in the canal. It was fun watching all the fish jump as well. We also encountered a heron sitting on the dock when we came up from the beach one day. The walk to the beach is very short, as the public beach access is right down Leland St. The golf cart was an added bonus. It was so convenient to have that to get all our chairs, coolers, beach bags & what not to the beach without having to make several trips carrying all of our belongings. We grilled out one evening on the charcoal grill that is provided & loved the outdoor shower to rinse off after being at the beach. I reccommend trying the Sugar Shack. It's a small, local Jamaican Restaurant right across from Lowe's Foods. Their coconut shrimp is amazing! And you get a lot. We ate there twice. Very good jerk as well. Dave And Cynthia are very easy to work with. This is a great home & plan to rent again.
