Charming Ocean View Home With a Community Pool

Mermaid's Tale welcomes you to her adventure by the sea! We are directly across the street from beach access to the amazing white sand Ocean Isle Beach and also across the street from the Summer Place HOA pool. We have 4 comfy bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are two 2nd floor bedrooms which have private baths with showers and 2 main floor bedrooms that share a large Jack and Jill bath with a tub/shower combo. The large vaulted central living room/kitchen/dining has plenty of space for your family or group to cook, dine and relax together. When we purchased the house we renovated the kitchen with a fresh white and turquoise color scheme, quartz island counter top, and new appliances. We replaced all the carpeting and bedroom flooring. There is a 55" TV in the living room, visible from the kitchen and dining areas. There is also house wide WIFI access. The covered front porch has limited ocean view but plenty of shade for morning coffee and lazy afternoons. The backyard is fenced and ready to hang out in and do some grilling. We absolutely love our home and Ocean Isle Beach for its relaxed and casual beauty and we know you will too!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was great, and we especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and vineyard setting. The host was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience easy from check-in to check-out. Having laundry available was also a huge plus, especially while traveling with family. Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Mermaids Tale several years ago, love the location and easy access to the beach. The house is cozy and comfortable for our family. Beds are comfortable! We would stay here again.

Perfect beach house location with lots of amenities, everything you need for the beach and literally right across the street from beach access. Best part was the wonderful porch and downstairs area. Pool was nice and never crowded. Would stay again!

We had a small hiccup with the cleaning upon arrival, but it was due to the renters who stayed the week before us. Steve addressed the issue promptly and was incredibly easy to work with. The house is lovely, and our family absolutely loved Mermaid's Tale. The decor makes a perfect touch. The swing was our favorite. We hope to come back and stay again!

Home is as described and more! Clean, well- stocked with kitchen of supplies including electric griddle, crock pot, 2 coffee pot options, full spice cabinet. Lots of kid friendly plates and cups- a huge plus. We made good use of pool gear and bikes. Location is perfect, too. Hope to come again!

Mermaids Tale is our fav beach house to stay at when spending time at Ocean Isle Beach. The kitchen is great to cook in and spend time with family. There is plenty of seating in both the livingroom and dining area for all of us. We love the covered porch and the best place for naps are on the swing with the ocean breeze and wind chimes. The outdoor shower is a favorite of all! We will def be back! Thank you for sharing your home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mermaids tale. The location is great being so close to the beach access and pool. We loved the front porch swing. Kitchen is dining area is perfect for families. Would stay again.

This was our second annual cousins girls beach trip where 5 of us girls (all cousins) get together for a weekend away at the beach. This house was perfect for our stay. Right across the street from the beach access for an easy walk to the sand, plus the pool across the other street for a fun alternative afternoon hang out spot. The house had what we needed and was clean and cozy for our stay.

We relocated to Ocean Isle Beach, NC from St. Paul, MN and loved it! We have always been avid boaters with a deep love of the outdoors and especially the beach. When the opportunity arose to come to OIB, we jumped at the chance to live near the ocean. We had 2 daughters in college and an empty nest, so we decided to fill our extra time with buying a beach house and making it our own. We spent the 6 months after we arrived renovating our house and turning it into "Mermaid's Tale". We are excited to share it with you!

Our family was initially drawn to Ocean Isle Beach because of the call from the ocean after living in the Midwest our whole lives. So, when we started researching the properties on the Island, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to be right across the street from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Not to mention when you want to get away form the salt and sand, we are also directly across from our local community pool. With the kids not living at home anymore, we had plenty of time to renovate Mermaid's Tale and turn it into our dream ocean side home. In addition, an ideal vacation rental with its four bedrooms and three full baths for plenty of privacy and comfort. Vacation groups and families will also enjoy the combined kitchen-dining-living space for games, relaxing, and group meals. Although Mermaid's tale is a rental, we hope you will be able to feel at home and as comfortable as we do when staying here in OIB!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The ocean view at Mermaid's Tale and the sound of crashing waves through open windows or from the porch are what initially drew us here. The open floor plan perfectly fits the way we live and entertain. I still pinch myself every time I walk across the street for my beach walk!
