The house was great. In a nice quiet inlet. It was off season and the owner made sure we knew that the water was down. We had our own little beach for my kids to play. Loved the history lesson on the house that was left. The kids loved having their own house (upstairs). Husband and son caught a catfish our last night. Amazing sunsets. We are already planning our return.

Other than the water already being low, there was nothing negative we could say. Thanks for sharing your home with us, it was perfect for our family gathering. The kids swam and fished their hearts out off the dock. We will be back again!

Another great getaway here. This stay was late in the season and even with the water level over 6ft below full pool the ramp was still usable and plenty of water to play in around the dock. The shaded lot is nice when the temps are in the 90s and the house has no problem staying cool.

Nice house

Was a very nice place to stay. Easy access to water and nice dock. The boat launch made it nice as well.

Great Stay

We stayed with some of our anglers from Faulkner University Fishing Team and this was perfect for them. Plenty of room and directly on the water.

Exterior of property had areas of junk. Interior and exterior stairs & ramps were not compliant with fire and/or building codes, 2d floor porch appeared not up to structural standards and was infested with wood boring bees, electric system would not pass an electric inspection, smoke detectors do not meet code requirements. Location was perfect for our fishing guide to pick us up at the dock, boat ramp was excellent. Interior was exceptionally clean with plenty of towels and linens. 2 refrigerators ans nice for freezing capacity.

Great place on the lake!

Great location on the lake! Love being tucked in the little cove and love the easy walk to the water. We’ve stayed at this house multiple times and plan to return.

Stars & Stripes 4th of July

The place has lots of room & 2 kitchens. A great outdoor area enclosed & one covered. Loved the pitfire & grill area also. Great boat dock to leave your boat & swim. Neighbors were very nice!

Perfect location. Close to Duncan bridge by water. The fact that there is a private boat ramp on the property and a great dock were A for our family. Plenty of room for everyone in the house and relaxing on the back porch while laughing and talking with family made the trip great. It’s a great quiet cove with the benefit of being so close to the marina by water. The owners are so nice and very responsive.

The history of the lake house was very interesting. The family loved the house and lake. One said that it felt like home.easy access to the lake for us old folks(me)

Family reunion

Celebrated a wonderful family reunion right on Smith Lake Rented the house kayak’s to enjoy with our SeaDoo and boat. Loved the lake views and porch swing’s.

Enjoyable

This is our second stay and hope to come back again. room for family. Just off main lake. two floors, two kitchens, shady, boat ramp all good.

Perfect spot on the Lake!

The house and property were perfect. The beds were very comfortable. It was peaceful and quiet and very spacious. The fact that it had its own boat ramp was definitely a plus. The owners were very easy to work with and helpful. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much!
