Relax and unwind at Rock Creek Retreat, a beautiful lakefront home overlooking the clear waters of Smith Lake’s Rock Creek. With stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space, this retreat is perfect for families, couples, or friends looking for a memorable lake getaway.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and features a spacious master bedroom with a king bed, two queen bedrooms on the main level, and a basement bunk room with a twin-over-full bunk bed. Two full bathrooms provide plenty of space for everyone.
The open-concept kitchen and den on the main level create a great space for gathering, dining, and relaxing together. The home includes three Smart TVs (two on the main level and one in the basement) with streaming apps such as YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Pandora. Guests are also welcome to bring their own streaming devices (Apple TV, Roku, Fire Stick, etc.).
Step outside to enjoy the best part of lake living. The home features a screened-in porch and a large wrap-around deck with plenty of seating and tables for outdoor dining, relaxing, and taking in the lake views. Fire up the gas grill for dinner or gather around the fire pit in the evening.
Down at the water, the private boat dock sits in a quiet area away from heavy boat traffic, making it ideal for swimming, relaxing, or simply enjoying the lake. Guests can also explore the water using the two paddleboards provided.
The house comes fully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including linens, towels, a coffee bar, a fully equipped kitchen, and essential housekeeping items.

Every detail was covered! It was a wonderful few days on the lake. Cooking great food, watching movies, playing games, and swimming off the dock were all amazing experiences for our family, including a 15 month old! Great times!!! Thank you so much - we can’t wait to return next summer!!!

Beautiful place, lots of room for the kids to play. We stayed 4 nights June 1-5, 2026. We fished, swam, kayaked and paddle boarded. Nice and peaceful location. We didn’t experience one bad thing. Easy Checkin/Checkout. Nice big deck for relaxing and cooking. Will definitely be going back.

What a great property! We loved paddleboarding and kayaking, and the views were beautiful. The porch facing the lake was extensive, and had lots of seating for enjoying the view. We also found the check out process to be easy. A bonus for us was that there was lots of parking. Would love to stay here again!

We chose Smith Lake to celebrate our son beating cancer because of his love for fishing. The home was perfect for our needs as a family of seven. There was plenty of space for everyone. The area was very peaceful. Most of our time was spent swimming and fishing from the dock. The paddle boards were a bonus. We highly recommend this place!

We were beyond pleased with our host, their property, and our stay. The pictures and description are accurate and the point out on the lake is better than the pictures! The kitchen and house is fully equipped with everything you need. The hosts were very quick to respond and address all of our questions and any accommodations we needed. Beautiful Getaway

Great spot on the lake! Well stocked home. Easy communication with host. My husband, kids and I all had a blast! Incredible lake views!

This property was enjoyable to stay. Beds comfortable . We cooked and grilled . Sat on deck and look at the lake. Roasted marshmellows on bond fire.

I appreciated Anthony's timely responses and his kind flexibility with our requests/need to make adjustments to our arrival. The Cottage was a perfect spot to relax and rest. It was clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy.... the screened in porch and deck with rockers were favorite spots; and the view was so peaceful.

Rest and Relaxation
Wonderful property tucked away in a secluded nook offering ample opportunities for family fun. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at a great view of the lake. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for rest and relaxation.

Sweet Home Alabama
The property was pefect for our stay. We are building a home in Arley and have stayed at two other locations on Smith Lake prior to this one. This will be the one we plan to stay at again. The rental is fantastic and the views are amazing.
