This cute country cottage is located on Shincke Road in Olympia, Washington. The cottage is located only a few miles from town, but it is in a beautiful rural location with amazing access to the Chehalis Western Trail.

If you are seeking access to women's healthcare options, we have a special rate for you. Please text "healthcare" to 3608193793 prior to making your booking, and we'll help you out.

The 22 mile Chehalis Western Trail runs north-south through Thurston County and connects to the Yelm-Tenino Trail.

Be sure to bring your walking/running shoes or your bikes.

This cottage is a great place to stay when in town for events held at the Capitol, St. Martin's University or the Evergreen State College.

The cottage is clean and bright with a full kitchen, bathroom, vaulted ceilings, and skylights. There is a king sized bed and a couch that folds into a twin bed.

There is easy pull through parking with room for a trailer or RV.

Our owner-occupied residence is next door so if you have questions or concerns, we are easily reachable.

Vrbo Country Cottage

This location and neighborhood made my heart smile, I picked a Vrbo because for 3 years straight I've been in a hotel for about 50 weeks a year, I thought I would get something and have my daughter come check out the area because it's a good time for both of us to change, California is so... too much, I've fallen in love with this area working here over 8 months, I'll be looking for a piece of dirt around here I can build a home on, this was a wonderful little place

Peaceful

Area is so beautiful with the smell of the pines. The fall colors of the trees and peaceful trails. Pete and Bonnie are so accommodating with my asthma they made this stay better than I could imagine. This cottage is roomy, comfy and close to everywhere you would like to go. I highly recommend and will return.

Restful Weekend

Awesome place

The place was clean and the owners were very nice. Supplied more items than just your average place of stay. Very convenient location. I would highly recommend this property.

Great stay

Comfortable small studio cabin behind main house. Plenty of space and quiet. Nearby bike trail is great, with 2 minute drive to it if you want to walk trail, or ride bike straight to trail.

Sweet Cottage Close to Town

We enjoyed staying in this sweet and cozy cottage surrounded by farmland, but still close to town. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed with everything we needed for our week long stay. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Olympia area.

Cute home away from home

Clean, comfy, stocked with anything you might need. Beautiful and quiet location. Communication and check in process was clear. Lots of recommendations and info for local services/fun/food. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Bed, tv & coffee!

We have friends in Olympia and just basically needed a place to stay. It was perfect. The middle step going up the stairs is weak. We couldn’t turn off the string of lights outside. We will probably be back. It was just what we were looking for.

Our family loves living in Olympia. This is where I was born and the majority of my family resides here. We returned to Olympia after spending time teaching overseas and in Alaska. It is a wonderful place to call home.

We purchased this property in 2009. We live on the same parcel as the cottage in a large white 90 year old farm house. We knew this property was for us because of its rural, but close to town location.
