Warmly appointed and picturesque barn-style house located directly on Rust Pond. 'The Barn' includes one (1) Master bedroom with King-Sized Bed on the ground floor; one (1) bedroom with Queen-Sized Bed and one (1) bedroom with two Twin Beds, comfortably accommodating six (6) people. Two inflatable twin-sized mattress (included), can also be used in the loft area to accommodate two (2) more people relatively comfortably.

A washer & dryer means you won't have to make trips to the laundromat and can enjoy more time on (and in) the lake!

Lovely, unique home with a beautiful view. Surprising and fun interior qualities. AC was amazing and the kids LOVED the antique Coca-cola machine and were impressed mom knew how to hook up the old Atari. After visiting a few adjacent towns, I would say Wolfeboro was by far the best. Great restaurants, live music near the harbor and an impressive antique store you have to visit, Wolfeboro antiques and artisan barn. Also, can’t say enough about Castle in the Clouds. Reserve dinner with music at the Cottage house on the property. New to boating? We used Goodhue boat rental but chose their location on Winnisquam over the BIG lake so we wouldn’t be overwhelmed. Most amazing and fun experience as beginners. I think a week may be too much for these little towns unless you have access to boating multiple times during your stay. Would recommend this experience.

The barn is a unique and special place. There are so many amenities that are wonderful like the kayaks and canoe and floats. The kitchen is really well stocked with lots of extras provided-great coffee makers and coffee provided. There’s also a laundry room with pods and dryer sheets provided -this is really nice. There was also an herb garden in front of the house. The view is wonderful and relaxing. The neighbors were very friendly. There are plenty of games provided inside the house as well- shuffleboard, cards and Atari game console. The host Christopher was so nice and responded quickly to questions and concerns. We were a group of 5 women over 50. So keep that in mind for the negatives as they may not apply to you. You can hear every noise and conversation from every room in the house. So sleeping was an issue. The master bedroom mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The two twin mattresses were so soft it was hard for an adult to sleep on. The bath towels were old and stained but I think Christopher will replace those. The women in the master bedroom had a problem with the owners things taking up most of the closet. We paid a lot for the rental and it would have been worth the cost with decent mattresses and towels and clean bathrooms - but I have already told Christopher about these issues and I feel certain he will address them. In spite of the sleep deprivation, we had a great time and made amazing memories. Location close to downtown Wolfboro is primo

I'm glad to hear you found the house special and unique and were able to make some amazing memories with your friends with the canoes, kayaks, games, shuffleboard, and vintage Atari console. I’m glad you used some herbs from the garden … that’s exactly why I plant it every year! 😉 As you rightly pointed out, unfortunately, some of the uniqueness of the house comes with a price, and the open architecture of the house with the sweeping ceilings and game loft area above the kitchen allows sound to travel easily throughout the house, and light sleepers can pay the price. ☹ All the best! ~ The Twomey Family

Fantastic location and property! Owner quickly responded when needed. Everything needed for a fun and relaxing vacation on a clear pond with lake Winnipesaukee nearby. Just a short drive to Wolfeboro center for shopping and good eats. Plenty of fun attractions nearby as well.

Rust Pond summer vacation

Rust Pond is a perfect location. The town of Wolfeboro has everything, the pond itself is clean and quiet with no public access. It's only about an hour from the ocean, and there is so much to do in and around Lake Winnipesaukee.

Rust Pond Barn

This is a beautiful private location yet close to all the attractions Wolfeboro has to offer.. The family loved the "barn" and Rust Pond. We hope to return soon.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful place

The Barn is absolutely lovely. I visited Rust Pond as a kid, and this was a wonderful return to a beautiful place. The Barn lives up to its description - well appointed kitchen, spacious, cheerful and peaceful. We very much enjoyed listening to the loons on the lake, fishing, and watching the sunrise. Christopher was super helpful, answering questions before and during our stay. A great host ad check in was smooth and easy. Will definitely stay again next time we find ourselves in New Hampshire!

Perfect Christmas Getaway

During this pandemic Christmas, couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the holiday. The space is beautifully renovated, a truly unique property. Would very much look forward to returning with friends and family in the future (and in the summertime).

Wonderful stay in Wolfeboro on Rust Pond

We a wonderful time on Rust Pond in Wolfeboro. This house was incredibly unique, and extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed looking around at all the interesting house features and spent hours in the water on the floats and kayaks. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

Family Vacation

The Barn was a perfect place to stay. The place was even more than the description. Plenty of room, an amazing Coca Cola machine, lots of games, and water was great! Many days we were the only ones out in the water. Highly recommend the place.

Fantastic Location

Had an amazing time at this barn. The location was great, where you can just walk 20 yards out the front door and have access to a beautiful body of water. My family and I were skeptical of the name of "Rust Pond", but the water is clear, clean, and beautiful. One of the best vacations, I have been on.

Wonderful Stay, Highly Recommend

We stayed here for a week with our two children. Rust Pond is gorgeous and right outside the house. Wolfeboro is a short drive down the road. Plenty to do for kids and adults. House had everything and is just as advertised. Don't hesitate to book.

Perfect Lake House for a visit to Wolfeboro!

My family and I could not have had a better visit to The Barn. The home is the perfect setting for a Lake Vacation and certainly has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Wonderful location

We loved our week at The Barn. The location can't be beat. It was wonderful to be right on Rust Pond (which despite the name is really a lake) and to seemingly have it to ourselves on many days and convenient to be so close to town. The house's design is interesting and the kitchen is terrific, but sound does carry through the open architecture so make sure your group all keeps the same hours.

The name “Rust Pond” throws off a lot people so I’m glad you still gave it a shot and ended up enjoying your stay so much! Wonderful Property

The Barn is a truly special property. My friends and I had a great weekend enjoying the surrounding area, as well as the Barn itself with all that it had to offer. Between going out on the pond, playing croquet in the yard, or the many late night games of shuffleboard on the second floor, there was always something to do and enjoy during our stay.

Wonderful location

The barn did not disappoint us. Superb accommodation, excellent facilities, & the most amazing setting. To wake up to that view every morning must be fantastic. A couple of minutes drive to Wolfboro & just under an hour to North Conway & the Kank. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Barn.

Wedding weekend

We rented this property because my daughter was getting married nearby . The house was perfect! We loved it . Weather was great, house exactly as described, pond and dock so beautiful . Would love to come back again someday

Christmas week 2020

This property is very well depicted in the VRBO - pictures and writeup. Centrally located to the town of Wolfboro and highway this property is great for being away but not too far away from civilization. The view of Rust Pond was beautiful! My family had a great time - hope to come again! The owners were great to work with for any questions, etc.

Relaxing and wonderful family vacation

Our week at The Barn was outstanding! We lucked out with beatiful weather which let us really get the most out of Rust Pond and all that The Barn had to offer. We kayaked, fished, swam, and floated. The house exceeded our expectaions and accommodated our family perfectly as we cooked some delicious meals inside and out on the grill, played games, read and simply enjoyed some quality family time with a peaceful and gorgeous view.

Another Great Year at The Barn

Being our second year staying at The Barn we knew what to expect from the home and surroundings and it certainly lived up to our expectations and more! The home is such a cozy well appointed home with a rustic feel. You can’t beat the location right on Rust Pond close to Wolfeboro and all that great town has to offer. Not only would I recommend but hoping to come back for a 3rd year.
