The cabin features 2 king suites with full bath, 1 with jacuzzi tub. Hot Tub on a covered deck and full kitchen with dining area. FREE wifi.

Literal Bear Creek

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was absolutely amazing! I have been wanting to stay on ski mountain for a long time but didn't want to deal with crazy driveways. This was an easy drive up and flat parking. The cabin itself had a very rustic feel with all the modern amenities. The hot tub was amazing! We were visited by a bear for the first four nights of our trip until the snow hit. I named him Oliver after our big cat that looks like a black bear. Elk springs Resort was a great to work with and checked on us frequently via text. And they were not automated texts. Great experience! Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful stay at Bear Creek

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was beautiful. One of the bathroom doors was locked from the inside when we arrived so maintenance had to come to unlock it. It was clean. We had no other issues.

Horrible Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin smelled of mold the entire time. Mold was growing on the bathroom wall and in the shower. Spiders everywhere. Reported it and left for a few hours. I was told they took care of the spiders and sprayed and that there was no mold. We get back to the cabin and nothing was done. Same spiders everywhere and nothing had been sprayed. My husband and I both got sick. Never rent from these people again.

Smokey Mountain Vacation 2024

We had to contact management about how to lock the door with the keypad and their reply was in a timely manner. The only issue was at night some animal or animals would go under the house and crawl up in the wall between the bottom bathroom and bedroom where the plumbing runs to upstairs

Nice little cabin close to town

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bear Creek is very close to town so it's easy to get to all of the attractions in Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the hot tub each day and the indoor jacuzzi tub was great too! The cabin itself was well maintained and clean. The bathrooms are small but nice. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cookware. We would have enjoyed a better grill to use. This one is only a picnic style grill. The parking is shared with the neighbor cabin but it is separate and private from them. The creek was very nice to listen to but it is next to a fairly busy road so there is car noise. Overall we had a great stay and loved being able to escape the hustle and bustle downtown but still be close to attractions and restaurants.

Bear Creek Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is only 5 minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg. Yet the privacy is awesome, we enjoyed the hot tub and the inside jacuzzi the layout of the cabin was cozy and beautiful. The driveway is on flat ground and they're virtually no steps to get into the cabin.You can hear the mountain stream from anywhere on the property. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. We grilled hamburgers next to the mountain stream one evening, it don't get better than that! Will be back!!!!

It was nasty

NEVER, EVER should have been dog friendly. They’re was NOWHERE to take your dog out. The leaves should have been blown off. They were in the cabin, on the porch, on the walkway(which was stepping stones) that I could not see, tripped several times. No dish towels or dishrags. Nowhere to put your soap in the shower. The bedroom was so small, you had to just throw your suitcase on the bed and move in the living room when you slept. The cabin is very old and needs a good cleaning and updating. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone (especially if you have dogs or kids)!!! The tub upstairs does not work either!!!

Reviewer Comments: Dirty, the staff was not helpful, several maintenance issues, the cabin was not ready at check in time then I still had to call and get the door code 20 mins past the rescheduled check in time then I arrive to a dirty cabin. Pet hair, blood stain on one of the bed sheets, and dirty hand smudges on the fridge and freezer doors.

Caviar Price, But 2 Star Motel Quality

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1st the pros - hot tub was awesome, as were the exterior chairs on the porch. Sleeping areas had kingsize bed and the mattresses were incredible. Sufficient towels were provided to allow for hot tub use and showers. Parking was good and allowed for 2 vehicles. Location allows up to 4 maybe 5 vehicles, but the parking is shared with another cabin. Kitchen is serviceable and the refrigerator is a good size. Staff provided plenty of replacement garbage bags which was nice. The best perk was they allowed dogs and only charged $50. The front of the cabin exterior was clean and maintained.Cons - the drive up Ski Mntn Rd was very treacherous, be prepared. The description and pictures were misleading. We assumed there was more property to allow our dog to play and that was not the case. The cabin is literally 40 ft from Ski Mntn Rd, with only the creek between you and the road. Furniture was rearranged for pictures to give the impression of a larger living space, but it was very crowded. Lower level bedroom is very tight and had no closet. They may argue an armoire was in the room, but with a king size bed the armoire could not be opened,the bedroom was very dark and did not have an overhead light. In addition, there was only one night stand and you had to crawl over the bed due to storing your luggage on the floor next, and we only had 2 small roller bags! Bathrooms are tight; there is no room to place beauty products and the showers need overhead lights - it was very dark once the shower curtain was closed. Loft bedroom had more space to maneuver, but come-on a night stand on each side of the bed should be a given. Bring your own pillows unless you are a fan of feather pillows. The back of the cabin exterior needs to be cleanup up (old cut stumps, hoses, etc, and it literally against a hill, so there are no views, except for of the houses up the hill. Not a tranquil setting with the traffic on Ski Mntn Rd and the price was over the top for motel quality ameniti

Smoky adventure

Disappointed, but love the National Park

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was disappointing to be honest. The images and description didn’t give a good image of what we found. The cabin is directly on a major uphill road with considerable traffic. When sitting on the porch cars and truck are loudly traveling by blocking the sound of the stream. The picture doesn’t show that the road is about 15 feet from the stream. The outside areas had not been cleaned and little to no comfortable restful space was found.Upon entering the cabin we were hit with an extremely strong mold or urine smell. All we could figure was that the couches needed to be replaced. We struggled to sit on them to watch the news. Once we did our clothes carried the sent and needed to be washed unless we wanted to carry the smell with us.The upstairs bed was awesome. By keeping the windows open we were able to minimize the smell from downstairs, even though it was always present.It didn’t seem that the cabin had been cleaned by a quality crew. Cob webs, filthy windows and drapes were throughout.Now for some positive. Booking was extremely easy, Elk Springs resorts were prompt in contact to us, great support, and very friendly. If I was them I would consider removing this cabin from their rental program until these issues could be resolved. As renters of more than 10 different cabins in the mountains this was the only one that was such a disappointment.

Cobwebs and Dust oh my!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is a small cozy two bedroom. The first bedroom is on the main floor and the second is on the second floor open loft. The cabin is right on ski mountain road and the front of the cabin faces the road. It does have a nice small creek between the cabin and the road. If you are renting the cabin with the plans to sit outside with a view I would pick another. The cabin has all of the basic stuff inside for your stay. Thankfully it is only about a 8 - 10 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg and a few minutes to the top of Ober Mountain. Unfortunately the cabin was extremely dusty and had tons of cobwebs all over the ceilings. The ceiling fan over the loft bed had a thick layer of dust as well. For some reason two of the three tvs had their hdmi cables unplugged from the tvs. Overall everything else was okay however we did not use the hot tub or jetted tub due to the concerns of cleanliness. If they actually did a nice spring cleaning the cabin would be a nice cozy place to stay. I would strongly not recommend staying until then.

Cute and great location

Perfect for a small family, but it was a little cramped for 2 couples on our trip, just due to lack of privacy with the loft and the small downstairs bedroom. The king size beds were very comfortable! A small shelf added on the wall in the downstairs bath would be nice to keep toiletries on. Vanity space is very small! Overall a good experience. We would stay here again!

Family Trip

Very close to downtown Gatlinburg. Limited selection of grocery stores but a small market is close. Had an issue with TV remote but a very nice maintenance man came quickly and showed us the proper operation. The directions in the cabin book need updated. Bed pillows need replaced.

Bear Creek lives up to its name!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed this cozy cabin so much! The kids loved the hot tub and staying in the loft bed upstairs. We all enjoyed checking out the creek for crawdads and salamanders during the day and watching Harry Potter together in the cabin at night. We even got to see a bear! The cabin is very conveniently located. You are up in the mountains but still quite close to downtown Gatlinburg. Overall, the perfect stay in the mountains for our family.

Christmas Adventure

Reviewer Comments: I want to start with how much we enjoyed our cozy Christmas in the cabin. However, there are some things that need to be addressed. First, the cabin was not cleaned to the level expected. Out of ten, the cleanliness was a 4. We were there for 10 days. The pots and pans were good for small quick meals, but we had to go purchase a can opener (the provided one did not work), a large soup pot and other small items. The jetted bath tub did not work at arrival, but was repaired two days later. The next day it was not working again (my husband repaired so that it could be used). In all it was able to be used 2 times due to being broken and then lack of water due to frozen water lines. We were reassured 3 times that there was a Christmas tree. However, upon arrival there was not one. We had to go find one as we had 2 small children there for Christmas morning. The windows and doors are not insulated and you can feel the wind blowing in. While there is work that needs to be done, the management company was great to respond and always communicated with us. I can see us potentially using Elk Springs again.

Nice cabin
