A true log cabin, this beautiful two bedroom luxury cabin offers king size beds, indoor jacuzzi tub and a hot tub on the deck. Play a game of pool or just relax next to the cozy fireplace, this cabin is sure to create memories forever.

Enter on the main level into the great room where there is 20 feet of glass overlooking the wooded valley. With comfortable seating for 5, you can enjoy the fireplace or go up to the loft and play a game of pool. The full kitchen and dining room adjoin the great room where there is seating for 6 including the breakfast bar. A washer / dryer is included for your convenience.

Also on the main level is the suite and suite bath with king sized bed with upgraded mattress as well as rustic yet luxury furnishings including the true stacked logs as well as the 4x6 ceiling beams.

Upstairs next to the loft pool table area is a full suite with king sized bed and full private bath for privacy. Admire the vaulted ceilings and finish work in this lofted bedroom.

Outside on the wrap around covered deck are a hot tub and gas grill. Flat paved parking can accommodate a motorcycle trailer.

A total of 4 TV's and 3 DVD players in this luxury cabin. Escape for a 3 day weekend from work while being able to check in with FREE wireless internet.

Good but not great

I did have some issues with the cleanliness of the cabin. The cabin was very dirty as in dust, my son suffers from asthma and had multiple asthma attacks within our stay. The smell is very strange in this cabin more so in the downstairs area in the kitchen and bedroom downstairs, to me personally it smells like urine. The bed in the bedroom downstairs did not look clean, it had a hole in the quilt and the fitted sheet was covered in hair and dust and so were the lamps on the night stands. This is a beautiful cabin but I do suggest doing a deep clean of it.

Not too happy.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at Rascals Retreat. First off, the cabin didn’t have that cabin smell. It smelled like animal urine. The downstairs bathroom tub was filthy (shower curtain liner was stained, and the bottom of the tub had caked on dirt that I had to scrub before we could use it. Worst of all, the downstairs mattress had blood on it so I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in it at all. There were several other areas that were dirty or had caked on messes. Out of the three times we have stayed with Elk Springs Resort, we have never had an experience like this with Elk Springs cabins. Because of the filthiness of this one, unfortunately, we won’t be using them again. Too much money spent not knowing if it’s filthy or not. :( very sad about this.

Nice place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a nice cabin to stay in for a week in the Smokey Mountains. We stayed in March, so the trees were bare and we could see the mountains. This cabin is away from the noise so I enjoyed the birds and wildlife every morning. Shops and restaurants are only a 10-15 drive. The cabin comes equipped with all your needed appliances but be sure to stock up on coffee filters, tp, laundry detergent, etc. The cabin felt clean overall. We did find a clump of hair in our master bed and changed the comforter out. I know things happen but the bed comforter had lots of hair throughout the fabric. I appreciate that the hot tub was drained and refilled-even if that meant it wasn’t fully hot when we checked in. The bathrooms are large and have good water pressure and beds decently comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and watched for shooting stars. If we return to Gatlinburg we would stay here again.

The Rascals Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 1st day opening the dog it smelled horrible. Byt i had bought poop spray so i just sprayed everyday. Our 3rd nightwear kept hearing something above all day and night a figured it was in basement. Our 4th night morning to supposedly leave at 10am...did not happen we left at 240am finally seeing what was the sound and noise. The bat kept flying in the pool room, all upstairs, and badly in the livingroom where my 4 kids were.. We package that night so we just hurried and left. The pool table was in a tight spot so we could not pay. The internet stopped working everyday. But, overall we made it fun.
