We had a very relaxing stay at Mike & Marqy's Portsmouth vrbo. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog & include him in many of the activities around town. The home was very comfortable and conveniently located near many restaurants & a grocery store. Mike was a great host- we enjoyed our vacation and all Portsmouth and surrounding towns had to offer!

The home was wonderfully comfortable with a beautiful view from the living room of the gorgeous cove. It is roomy and lovely. The only negative is low doorways and ceilings upstairs if you are over 6’2”. The owners sent a great detailed email about things to do and places to see as well as having a basket of brochures, maps and a guide book. It was so helpful! And Portsmouth is a great place to be if you want to explore southern RI or even go to Cape Cod (which we did for a day trip!)

Our host, Mike was unbelievable! We arrived late, he had left the key in the door for easy access and had pizza & pop waiting! In addition, a large basket of goodies and water were available. This home was immaculate and cozy with very comfortable beds and furniture. There were air conditioners upstairs and downstairs as well as fans available everywhere. The view outside the front window took our breath away! The location was perfect and within 20-30 minutes of our planned activities in Newport. The adorable backyard was an oasis. We used it whenever possible. My 2 Sisters and I would highly recommend this vrbo. Just be aware there are some pretty steep stairs to go up & down especially if you have to get up at night. They posed no problems for us.

House and yard/deck were great! Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable with my pup. The large picture window provided a fabulous view of the bay and we enjoyed watching the many birds. The location was convenient for visiting Newport and the other sites we wanted to visit. Would definitely recommend!

The house was very clean and accurately described in the listing. We appreciated that all the bedding and towels were included and of high quality. We thought the location was perfect for exploring the greater Rhode Island area. Not far from central Newport and easy travels to Providence and outlying areas. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

We loved the home, the neighborhood and convenient location. Excellent communication with our hosts. They kept us up to date and in contact with us to ensure we had everything that we needed. We had absolutely everything we needed. Would stay here again!!

Lovely home on a quiet street; the neighborhood is very walkable. Do be aware that there are stairs up to the bedrooms that could be difficult for some to navigate and the only bathroom is downstairs. We very much enjoyed looking out at the water from the front room. Mike was a friendly, communicative host - it’s obvious that he loves the area and takes pride in what it has to offer. The house met our needs just perfectly to use as a base for exploring the area

Amazing location and stay!

The cottage was perfect! It was so clean, spacious, and equipped with everything that you could need. The water view was amazing, large deck and inside areas, and to have parking, priceless!

Family Vacation

Very cute area. Wonderful for kids! A short walk down the street to a playground and 10 min walk or 2 min drive to a small local beach that you can bring dogs as well.

The host was very accommodating. Cottage layout was a bit quirky. Unfortunately, it was abit too chilly to use the patio and grill in the backyard; but, it did look very nice.I would come back again during the warmer months. I was enthralled with the location and the view from the front is spectacular.

This home is a true find.

It's priced lower than most, has a terrific view, and rests in the most quiet far inner corner of the neighborhood. There are many areas in the home where one can sit, relax, or read in private . All household essentials are provided. The quality of beds, linen, utensils, furniture is solid.

The set up is child friendly. There are no delicate items, or knickknacks to worry about. Cleaning products, sharp items are not easily accessible by a child. The stairs are padded carpet with a sturdy railing. Baby gates available upon request.

The host will procure any special amenities needed and is available 24 - 7.
