Our suite is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Access to/from the suite is via a staircase with10 steps and a shower in the bathtub.

During off-season, October to March, our calendar maybe blocked, please send an inquiry with your check-in and checkout dates, we maybe able to accommodate your request.

Our property is very conveniently located in a central, quiet and safe residential neighbourhood of South Cambie on the Westside of Vancouver BC. It is an ideal location for business and leisure travelers. There are many amenities within minutes of walking:

• Cambie Village (5 min.) - independent shops, banks, cafes and specialty restaurants, and a movie theater

• World famous Queen Elizabeth Park (5 min.) - viewpoint, gardens and picnic areas, tennis courts, pitch & put, frisbee golf and Seasons in the Park restaurant

• Hillcrest Community Centre (10 min.) - Vancouver’s best indoor & outdoor swimming pools, skating rinks, gym, library & more

• Nat Bailey Stadium (10 min.) – is home of the Vancouver Canadians of the Northwest Baseball League in the summer and the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds in the spring.

• South of Main (SOMA) Village (10 min.) - many vintage & designer boutiques, antique stores, eateries and specialty restaurants

• Major hospitals and healthcare centres (10-15 min.) - BC Children’s & Women’s Hospital, Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer Agency and more

• King Edward Canada Line Train Station (4 minutes), which can take you to Vancouver’s premier sites within minutes of train ride.


Built in 2014, our deluxe contemporary garden level suite is very bright with south facing floor to ceiling windows and 9 foot ceilings. Approximately 500 sq. ft., it is a perfect space to accommodate two people for a short or long stay, whether on business or vacation. This suite has a separate entrance from the front yard of the house with a private sunken patio. It is fully equipped with all modern living conveniences and high quality furnishings throughout including:

• Kitchenette: rift-cut white oak cabinetry, Caesarstone quartz countertop, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, sink with garbage disposer, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, utensils and more

• Dishes, glasses and flatware

• Comfortable sofa with lounger and ottoman

• Flat screen 46” TV with cable

• Bose stereo system with radio, CD and DVD player

• Wireless Internet access

• Eating bar

• Queen size bed with Beautyrest mattress

• Laundry washer & dryer

• A three piece bathroom

• Outdoor patio seating

• Gas BBQ grill


There are four (4) separate living units within our property. For everyone’s health and comfort, our property is a smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted in the suite or anywhere within the property. Sorry, we are unable to accommodate pets due to allergies.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at the Garden Suite! It was as described, clean and exactly what we were looking for. It was nice to have some fresh fruit, coffee, and a couple snacks available. It was a block and a half away from the train which made getting around very convenient.

Wonderful location, amenities and ease!

Great location and amenities. The property owner was very accommodating and friendly to work with. Would recommend for any two or single travelers. Walking distance to park and shops.

Quiet in town getaway

We loved our stay at this property and would go again for sure. It was quiet and felt very spacious due to the high ceilings. We loved all the modern amenities of a large fridge and dishwasher on top of the stove, kettle, and microwave even though we only made use of 2 of them this trip. Our favorite feature though was the location. It felt like a quiet safe suburb but was a 8 minute walk to the skytrain which we used frequently despite having a car with us. The only detractor was the water pressure which was so low you could barely stand under it in the shower. Lovely bathroom but needs water pressure booster. Would stay again for sure.

Pleasant apartment. Perfect location

The accommodation are as advertised and genuinely pleasant. Dealing with the host was efficient and simple. The neighborhood is mostly residential but steps away from the subway station and about 10 minutes walk from many cafés and restaurants. There is an excellent Sushi restaurant about 30 m away.

Perfect stay for a couple

This place was clean, cozy, quiet, comfortable, includes all the amenities and conveniently located close to the LRT station. The host Richard was very good; responded very quickly. We especially appreciated the higher quality of the furnishings and the thoughtful extras that Richard provided.

Great apartment

Just as advertised. Perfect location close to metro, parks,restaurants and grocers. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Host Richard was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay here. Richard was a great host, good communication and lovely little touches like meeting us when we arrived and leaving some muffins/coffee/tea. The apartment was clean and modern and had everything we needed . The location was great for jumping on the sky train into town easily.

Small but Mighty

An excellent experience, great neighborhood very close to transportation which is a gateway to the entire city. Made this property an excellent launching point and base. The hosts were super with requests and even provided extras on their own. Would recommend and stay again when possible.

Location, location, location…

Located just a short stroll from our door, we took the subway from the Cambia Casita into Vancouver to explore and see a concert. The place was clean, safe, and comfortable, our host was thoughtful and kind. We stayed two nights. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay In Vancouver

A brilliant space in Vancouver, location was excellent, a short cab ride into the town or about a 40 minute walk if you wanted. Loads of restaurants nearby too. The space was clean, super comfy bed and Richard was brilliant, easy to contact and gave loads of recommendations. Would definitely stay again

Comfortable space in a great location

This unit was exactly as advertised, clean and well-ventilated, and the location (a block from a SkyTrain station, halfway between downtown and the airport) was perfect for us as tourists. We also enjoyed how close it was to Queen Elizabeth Park. Richard was a very responsive and helpful host and even left us some treats to welcome us to Vancouver. We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit.

A+ Host and Location

Hope to stay at this property again and have recommended it to friends and family for out of town guests. Perfect location a half block to revamped Cambie Street (now Cambie Village) with numerous ethnic restaurants, Choices food market, banks and the Sky Train to Vancouver Airport or downtown Vancouver. For guests with mobility issues, there are 12 steps down to the suite and a shower in the bathtub, so it may not be suitable. Taxi ride to or from the airport is about $33 and takes about 10 minutes. Great choice.

We are retired professional couple and long-time residents of Metro Vancouver. We’ve raised our two daughters in Richmond and now, we, our daughters and four grandchildren reside in the Westside of Vancouver.

We bought this property in 2009 because of its ideal location as one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in Vancouver, BC. It is a central, quiet and safe neighbourhood with many amenities within walking distance. As well, with Canada Line King Edward train station only 4 minutes walk, we can reach most of Vancouver major sites and YVR in less than 20 minutes.

In 2012, we built a self-contained laneway house (a separate building) on the rear of the property facing the lane.
In July 2014, we completed the building of our new main house with three separate living units, including the garden suite. These contemporary living units have private entrances and sound barriers. For maximum comfort, this house has two separate mechanical systems including 2 boilers for in-floor radiant heating and 2 large indirect hot water tanks and 2 HRV with air filtration systems.
