This boater’s paradise is located on a canal and offers your very own private boat landing with bulkhead to tie up your boat or launch kayaks. We include 4 kayaks, paddles and life vests for guest use. Whether you’re going fishing or looking for a day of fun in the sun, this home offers easy access on and off the water so you can start taking advantage of all that Lake Moultrie has to offer. This lakefront home was designed to make lasting vacation memories. Unwind and experience the kind of relaxation only a lake house can provide. The Cove offers three bedrooms, two full baths, and sleeps up to 8 guests. Modern décor, fresh linens, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. During the cooler months, curl up with a cup of hot tea and enjoy the wood burning fireplace. Whether you’re looking to get away, wind down, and relax or a fun packed weekend of water activities, The Cove truly has it all.

Close to family

Perfect home for our stays to be near family. This is the second time staying in this home and we have no complaints. Well kept, clean, lovely porches, good location on water, comfortable beds, good communication with host, etc. Thankful to have found this gem.

Great screened porch overlooking the lake.

We enjoyed our stay near the lake. The home was clean, neat and attractively furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The host was pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again.

Cozy and welcoming

Our stay at The Cove exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, the house was extremely clean, cozy, and welcoming. We brought our boat and had 2 day trips to Charleston. The weather was expected to be rainy and Sarah was extremely helpful. The weather was great with only 1 quick storm each day. We are excited to book our next trip to The Cove.

Perfect Lake Moultrie Stay

Perfect vrbo for our trip to Lake Moultrie. The house is exactly as described, even better in person. Spotless and very clean. Very cozy and has all needed amenities. We took our boat and easily had it in and out of the water. Quiet and nice neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Oasis by the Lake

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The loft was truly a pleasant surprise and my girls loved it. Mom and Dad also loved the master suite and kitchen. My grandson was able to run around in the large yard. My husband spent time relaxing on the back screened-in porch, and I enjoyed walking by the water. The community was a pleasure as well. Lovely homes and a well kept neighborhood. Would absolutely return here again.

Great property. Only downside is the house doesn’t have a good view of the lake. We had travel about 10 miles for a good lake view. Overall, the vrbo process was good.

I can’t wait to come back!

We are locals and we try to spend 1-2 weekends a month at the lake. This has been one of our favorite places so far. We needed a last minute booking due to an error for Labor Day weekend. I’m so glad it worked out the way it did. From the bottle of wine to the kayaks everything was perfect. Sarah was an absolute treasure for a host. Highly recommend!

Lakehouse

We had such a great time with our family at this house. It was so comfortable, clean and well kept. We loved the view from the back screened porch and really enjoyed being able to take the kayaks out right from the backyard. The owners were really responsive to our needs and really nice people. The beds were the best we've ever slept on in a vacation rental.

This lakehouse has brought us so many wonderful memories and we want to share that experience with others. Like most Charlestonians, we love the water! We stumbled upon this home in 2009 in our search for a lakefront property. The house was very outdated, but we saw its potential and over the years have turned it into the modern oasis it is today.

Moncks Corner is about 30 miles from downtown Charleston. We wanted a home that was far enough away that it felt like a vacation, but close enough that we didn't have to travel far to take advantage. The name you ask? “The Cove” was the name for the spot our friends and family would meet while boating. It just so happens this spot is just outside of our canal. It’s a great place to anchor and pull out the floats. The water is shallow and the bottom is sandy.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The Cove sits on a canal just feet away from the open lake. Centrally located, you can travel to the upper lake or go down through the locks, which allows you to travel from the lake into the Cooper River (very cool experience). The boat launch is private and right outside your back door. Both the front and back offer a full covered porch, which makes for a great place to sip on a cocktail and watch the sunset. The interior has been updated and offers a spacious kitchen, dining, and family room for larger gatherings. The other thing we love about The Cove, is it’s far enough away that it’s relaxing and feels like a vacation, but also close enough that you can go into Charleston to enjoy all that the Holy City has to offer.
