For larger boats or beach access, we are just a quick walk from the new 15 acre waterfront park which offers a mega boat landing, public beach, open air pavilion and walking trails. For your convenience, we provide kayaks along with paddles and life vests for guest use. Whether you're heading out for a day of fishing or simply soaking up the sun on the water, this home offers effortless access to all the fun and adventure that Lake Moultrie has to offer. Designed for making unforgettable vacation memories, this inviting lakefront retreat is the perfect place to unwind and experience the relaxation only a lake house can provide. The Cove features three comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and accommodates 6-8 guests. Note: Upstairs bedroom & bath are not on central HVAC system and cooled by window unit. You will find modern décor, fresh linens, cozy beds, and a fully stocked kitchen to make your stay easy and enjoyable. During the cooler months, curl up by the wood-burning fireplace with a warm cup of tea and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Whether you're planning a relaxing escape or a fun-filled weekend on the water, The Cove truly has it all.

Wonderful property with plenty of resources in case you forgot something at home. Well supplied kitchen to cook meals in. We loved being able to relax on the porches and dock. Very close to town and lake access. Will definitely book again for future visits.

Outstanding! 10/10 will definitely book again and recommend to friends and family. The hosts were very easy to work and communicate with. They were very responsive anytime we reached out. The home is absolutely fantastic. Perfect location, well-appointed, super clean, great layout and it had one of the better stocked kitchens when it came to cooking and eating dinner. Plenty of cooking pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, you name it. The garage was clean and the drive-thru doors were a bonus. We were able to open them and hang out in the afternoons and evenings. The bedrooms were not cramped and had plenty of closet and drawer space. Thank you Sarah and Weston! Extremely well done!Paul & Jennifer

Absolutely Wonderful Stay!My parents stayed at this home, and we could not have been more pleased! The house had absolutely everything you could need—and then some. The directions were great, check-in was incredibly easy, and the home was spotless and smelled wonderful from the moment we walked in.The screened-in porch was such a relaxing spot, and the upstairs was just precious! It has two beds and the cutest little reading hideaway nook that kids would absolutely love.The hosts truly went above and beyond. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting to welcome us and were attentive and helpful throughout the entire stay. Those little touches made it feel extra special.The location is wonderful—quiet, peaceful, and serene, yet still close to everything. There’s even a public boat ramp nearby, which is a great bonus. And for the quality of the home, the price is excellent.I highly recommend this house! It’s comfortable, charming, beautifully cared for, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. You will not be disappointed. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful repeat visit

We stayed here two years ago and have always wanted to return. We are so happy we got to visit again. The house has everything you need and we really enjoyed sitting in the covered garage area during the summer storms. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. Wish we had more time there!

Great screened porch overlooking the lake.

We enjoyed our stay near the lake. The home was clean, neat and attractively furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The host was pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again.

This lakehouse has brought us so many wonderful memories and we want to share that experience with others. Like most Charlestonians, we love the water! We stumbled upon this home in 2009 in our search for a lakefront property. The house was very outdated, but we saw its potential and over the years have turned it into the modern oasis it is today.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Moncks Corner is about 30 miles from downtown Charleston. We wanted a home that was far enough away that it felt like a vacation, but close enough that we didn't have to travel far to take advantage. The name you ask? “The Cove” was the name for the spot our friends and family would meet while boating. It just so happens this spot is just outside of our canal. It’s a great place to anchor and pull out the floats. The water is shallow and the bottom is sandy.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The Cove sits on a canal just feet away from the open lake. Centrally located, you can travel to the upper lake or go down through the locks, which allows you to travel from the lake into the Cooper River (very cool experience). The boat launch is private and right outside your back door. Both the front and back offer a full covered porch, which makes for a great place to sip on a cocktail and watch the sunset. The interior has been updated and offers a spacious kitchen, dining, and family room for larger gatherings. The other thing we love about The Cove, is it’s far enough away that it’s relaxing and feels like a vacation, but also close enough that you can go into Charleston to enjoy all that the Holy City has to offer.
