Very clean, home-like property with all needed amenities. Good central location for getting to the wilderness areas on the pecos as well as being able to run to Santa Fe or Albuquerque in a reasonable amount of time. No complaints, we had a great time.

The two bedroom house was immaculately clean and furnished well. However the outside with the picture of the front porch is a little deceiving. We thought it was a patio but it is a walkway. Kitchen was well furnished with utensils for our needs. We are an elderly couple and maneuvering around outside was difficult. Toilets are extremely low. Shower was great!. Handicapping would be a great addition. Sorry to say we won’t book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The picturesque setting added to the experience, and our granddaughters especially enjoyed spending time in and along the Pecos River. The location was excellent, with easy access to hiking trails and several historic sites in the area. (The drive way is steep.)We would gladly recommend this property to anyone visiting. A helpful tip for future guests: plan to do your grocery shopping before arriving. Pecos is a small village without a grocery store, so bringing the supplies you’ll need for your stay will make your visit even more enjoyable.

Tom was such a great host, and his house is a great property! He was a responsive, even past the point I became a bit of a pest. Pecos is a quiet gem with easy access to Santa Fe and the fishing spots up and down Highway 63. It was a real fun and peaceful retreat all at the same time! The house has a well equipped kitchen, great water pressure in the showers, and laundry facilities that are first right. Great views across a grassy expansive lawn to the deck and river, with sheer cliffs over the tableau.Two items that renters might want to be aware of, a vehicle with greater than a 6-inch clearance is best, given there surface of the driveway. Driving slowly let us avoid bottoming out. Also, as a warning sign in the driveway indicates, it's a pretty steep walk down to the waterfront, especially for somebody mobility impaired. But, it's an easy and worthwhile drive down that same hill for those who might be using a cane. Thanks, Tom!

Overall it was a very nice place to stay. But I did have to clean the deck and grill and grill table before we could use them. The yard out by the river and deck needs to be tidied up and the deck needs some maintenance done. There was no deck umbrella available. But we enjoyed much river watching time on the deck! And the showers are wonderful!

Great house on the Pecos River! Beitiful fall color. About 25 minutes from Aspen in a historic community. We enjoyed our stay very much. Tom was very responsive when we had questions/requests.
