The pictures are misleading about proximity to beach. You really have to be on the balcony or rearrange furniture inside to view the beach from afar. The original description (before we checked in) showed the unit is wheelchair accessible and that's totally misleading. In order to use any bedroom in a motorized wheelchair,a lot of furniture must be moved. The elevator is very small and not deep. It broke down a few times and Richard asked us to stop using it. That's unacceptable for a paraplegic. The 2nd day we were there, Richard tried to build a ramp to access the balcony to see the bay since the front sliding doors to ocean view were tooo narrow. Of course it was too flimsy and dangerous.

This guest only informed us very shortly to arrival that she had a motorized very large wheelchair, not typical wheelchair, we did everything we could to accommodate the guest. She had contacted another rental which she confused with us, so we never got the details of her needs. This unit has a nice view off the balcony to see the Gulf of America, the elevator did work for her all but the last day, but the wheelchair was extremely heavy and large. The elevator did stall on the last day, we believe the wheelchair hit the door sensor but we did send out a technician and ask that don't use it till we check it out, the tech later found no issues, but she had already left, This unit was never advertised for motorized wheelchairs, she did fully use the unit and the elevator, it was only on night prior to her departure did she have an issue with elevator, of which we promptly send someone out to assist her. Had she fully disclosed prior to making a instant booking all of details of her special needs we would of definitely told her this unit would not work. We try very hard to work with all of guest, she went to a doctor visit on the final night of her departure and was kept at that hospital, so she was not returning, but we did allow her nurse to stay in the unit a few extra days no charge. Because wheelchair was so large we were not able to get her on the balcony safely, so she was not able to have the view so we rearrange the furniture so she could have a partial view.

The condo was at a perfect location. You can see the sunrise on the bayside. The sunset on the beach. You can see both from the balconies.There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The elevator was very convenient for my mother who cannot climb stairs

Richard was great, he took care of everything we needed, very pleasant and professional. The only issue was the pool and hot tub were not working and pool was not warm for the whole time. The condo was very nice, & great to have beach chairs too. We had a great time.

Had a marvelous time. Local was great. I would recommend the property. The elevator was very convenient for some one who just had surgery.

Fantastic stay!

Loved everything about this property! The location, the private elevator, anything you would need for the beach was included. Well stocked kitchen, linens, washer and dryer!

AMI is a beautiful place. The beaches are great. Owner was very easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We stayed in this complex last yr, different unit. We loved this place. Had chairs, beach wagon, beach towels and plenty of bath towels. Slice of heaven with a quick walk to the beach!

Bermuda Bay

We had a wonderful time. The elevator was a great convenience although the 3rd bedroom was extremely small, no closet. The location was really good, beach was a short walk across the street and shopping and dining were also within walking distance. It was a nice place.

Moore family vacation

Nice place. Great location to beach, and bay access. Everything you need is there at the house. Even had chairs, floats, beach wagon, etc. Stairs are rough, but elevator came in handy for luggage, and groceries. Awesome vacation and house.

Fabulous~

Everything was great - condo, location & the beach were great. The beds & pillows were all comfy. Plenty of beach items in the garage, the only item missing was a cooler. We rented a golf cart (highly recommend), but an easy walk to Bridge Street restaurants & shops.

Bermuda Bay lives up to all it says.

Bermuda Bay is a beautiful set of town houses. Number 9. our unit was everything we had hoped for and more. Plenty of everything we needed to make our stay one of the best vacations we have taken as a group.

Perfect location with a pier on the bay to watch the sunrise and easy access to the beach….directly across the street! The elevator was a great part of the house for luggage, groceries and coolers. The garage is big enough to fit 2 cars/small suvs or one large suv/truck. You can also park 1 vehicle in the driveway. Plenty of beach towels and beach chairs in great condition to use (also had a beach wagon). All 3 bedrooms are upstairs with a master bath and 1 full bathroom in the hallway. The room with 2 twins is very small (just enough room for the 2 beds and a dresser. No closet so luggage had to be put in the hallway). On the 2nd level is the kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry and half bath. The door has a keypad entry so no keys to keep up with. Can’t say the unit is “updated or like new” but we were very happy with everything it had to offer! We will definitely stay here again!

Great place to rent for vacation

This was pretty close to perfect. It was very clean, the beds were great, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware- everything that was necessary for cooking. It was a very quiet location, and very close to the beach. The contact and manager was exceptional and he always responded to all questions and issues almost immediately. There was also an elevator because there were lots of stairs.

Well appointed condo with all amenities

Excellent stay at Bermuda Bay Club!! So close to beach. We flew in and Ubered everywhere and worked out great. Very clean. Beach towels and beach wagon, tube, noodles, and boogie boards all in basement. Water was beautiful! First day we saw manatee and dolphins! Pool also very nice and has shade in afternoon and was never that busy. We did not use the community bar b que but I saw other people use it.

Great beach location

Very nicely sized 3 bedroom condo with garage on lower floor, living area on second floor and bedrooms on upper floor. Beds are comfortable. The complex is nicely situated with a walk across the street to the beach, and walking distance to the restaurants in Bradenton Beach. Trolley stop is 50 ft away for trips to the north end of the island. I want to specifically thank our host Rick and the owner who clearly worked hard to get this property ready for our visit. At the time of our stay, a good 30% of the island rental units were still being repaired so we felt lucky they got the unit ready for us post-hurricane. Great comms the whole time as we approached our dates. Thank you Rick!

A few issues.

Dryer did not work properly. Found trash behind table in bedroom. Found sock under corner of bed from previous stay. Old furniture in garage. On the plus side location was great! Elevator was definitely handy!

Very Nice

Really enjoyed the location: close to beach, pool and hot tub, and fishing dock. Walk or take convenient free bus to several restaurants, but we enjoyed the fishing shacks across the Cortez causeway the most. We had booked a 3-bedroom in case our son's family could join us. They could not, but honestly I don't think it would have worked great with a todler. The stairways are not easily gated and the bedrooms are on top of each other. Elevator was convenient for bringing up luggage and groceries! I felt like I was annoying the property manager/ realtor, because there were a few maintenance issues, the only one not addressed was the main bedroom ceiling fan/ light did not work at all.

Great condo mine from the beach

The condo was great. Elevator was perfect for luggage, groceries, and my aunt who couldn’t do the stairs all the time. Garage had chairs, umbrella and things for the beach. Beach is right across the street and not a congested area. Only issue we had was with the dryer on the last day and it wouldn’t dry the towels. Turned it three times to dry but towels were still wet. Reported to the property manager. Also, looks like the door code does not change between guests. I would recommend and feel safer if the code for the door be changed between guests. If someone who has stayed there in the past remembers the code they can get in.

Fabulous week on AMI

We honestly chose this rental largely due to price. We usually rent a house but found most houses out of our price range. We were NOT disappointed with this rental! The location was excellent! Easy walk to the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. The property was as described. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen seemed well equipped. The balconies were great for morning coffee. We had an issue with the washer & dryer that was resolved instantly over the phone with simple instructions from the owner. The elevator in the unit was so helpful with bringing up luggage and groceries. We brought our own beach chairs & towels but didn’t need to. There were plenty of both provided. We had the most amazing week on AMI and hope to return next year. Would absolutely rent this unit again!
