Overall the condo itself was perfect. It was clean and stocked with everything you would need. No hot water all 5 nights but signs in the elevator said they were working on it. The neighborhood was rough. Lots of people smoking pot and homeless walking the streets. We did not feel safe at night outside of our locked doors. We chose to pay for valet because we didn't feel safe walking to and from our car. The pool was overcrowded so we found our peace on the beach. We loved having a bar to order frozen cocktails and the kids loved the pool side ice cream stand.

Hi Elizabeth, I'm so sorry that you had only warm water during your stay. The building HOA was replacing the furnaces on the roof, and we did not receive any advance warning about that. They did make sure there was hot water at night and in the morning, so the hot water was disconnected from 10am through 3pm each day for a week, but outside of those times, it was connected. I am concerned that you did not find the local area pleasant, as the location is pretty upmarket, being next door to multi-million dollar beach houses! I was there cleaning upholstery ready for the start of the summer season right before memorial day weekend, I certainly have never noted any homeless people anywhere in this vicinity. Unfortunately, some pot-smoking people do vacation from states where smoking pot is legal, and they think it is legal in SC, and it is not. There are stiff fines in SC for possession and smoking it, but I am not sure that travellers are aware of this. I park in the garage on every stay at the resort (at least 7 or 8 times per year) and have never felt unsafe walking between the garage and the resort. The garage and the resort has 24/7 security and there are also cameras in the garage and resort common areas as well as the security firm guards that keeps an eye on everything. Most Myrtle Beach buildings do not have security at all, so I always feel very much more secure having this. I'm glad that you enjoyed the amenities, but as your vacation was in late June, it is expected that the pool area is busy with lots of families enjoying their summer vacation time. I am pleased that you found that overall the condo was perfect, and you enjoyed your time at the beach.

We have done this same weekend trip for 9 years in a row and this was the best one so far. Thank you for having all we needed and good living room sitting area. Loved the recliners. Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows. It was great all the way around and having a large balcony even though it rained most of the weekend was nice to have access to from the 18th floor. It was a few blocks from the convention center so when it was not raining we could walk. But super easy drive. I will look for it again next year. Rhonda and Crew, Women of Joy Conference.

Great location

Nice unit though there was a loud motor noise in the living room ceiling. All the outdoor pools were way too cold to swim in which was disappointing for our grandkids. Great location and the beach was so nice.

Great view, very nice condo

We had an amazing time. Beds were very comfortable. Water presser was amazing and that’s super important to us. Very clean, plenty of space and great location!

Great Weekend Girls’ Trip!

A beautiful property that is well maintained, comfortable, and met all of our large group’s needs. Check in was seamless and simple, and the location is central to everywhere we were going. Even better, we booked for the Myrtle Beach Marathon weekend and had a front row viewing of the race on Ocean Blvd. The staff is helpful and friendly, and I would recommend to anyone considering g booking this property.
