This was the perfect spot for us, sooo beautiful. Right up in nature. I’ll include a picture from our window. It was quiet and cozy. Just stunning.

Gorgeous view and property, and super nice guest house. Had everything we needed. Host also really helpful, and the location was perfect. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

I travel to Mt Shasta whenever I can & this is my very favorite spot! The lodge is beautiful inside & out. The unobstructed view of Shasta though the big picture window in the living room is amazing! The host provides lots of helpful details. I am so grateful to have experienced this location!

Perfect Home Away From Home

This is our 2nd time in this lovely home. The dwelling is perfect and the location is heaven. We plan on returning again. We highly recommend this home and hosts.

This is the best place I have stayed in when visiting Mt. Shasta. Hands down favourite now. Will look to be back. Thank you so much for having us. We enjoyed our stay.

We love this place

This is our second stay at this home. Everything about this home is warm and welcoming. The night sky without urban light pollution and unobstructed view of Mount Shasta are amazing.

Stunning!

The property and location was perfect in every way. A beautiful, peaceful retreat with spectacular views of the mountain. All this just five minutes from downtown Shasta where we enjoyed multiple restaurants and all sorts of unique shops. Don't hesitate on this property! unique shops.

Lovely and beautiful spot in the perfect location

My son and I spent a weekend here. Upon arriving, we were thoroughly impressed with the beauty of the property and the surrounding area. There was everything we needed, and more! It was so easy to get some groceries or go into town for a bite to eat. The hosts Were so very lovely and welcoming. We hope to return!

Incredible natural beauty, privacy and quiet at this gem of a guesthouse. Mt Shasta towers above the five-acre site where native manzanitas and dogwoods, oaks and a koi pond surround the open outdoor spaces. Careful attention paid to healthy cleaning and laundry products, comfortable and well-equipped. Highly recommend!

A Delight, As Always!

We come here every year, since it is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. This year, just outside the living room window, we got to watch a pair of beautiful, blue-grey lynx hunting squirrels and birds in the branches of a conifer. We felt like David Attenborough. If you love Nature, this is the place to come!

My husband and I had a very peaceful three day holiday at Alpenglow Manor! Cailin was a wonderful host and thought of everything we would need for the stay. The guesthouse itself was very clean, cozy and practical. There were books, games and movie videos for entertainment. There was also a nice kitchen where we prepared breakfast while looking out the window at the koi pond.The highlight was seeing Mount Shasta framed in the window from the sofa and dining table! We also walked around the park-like property and saw deer and bunnies in their backyard. The energy of the place felt very soothing and rejuvenating. I wholeheartedly recommend Alpenglow Manor as a wonderful place to stay on your visit to Mount Shasta!

We enjoyed our week at Alpenglow Manor Guest House very much! The view of Mt Shasta is stunning! We enjoyed watching the mountain change colors during the course of each day. Cailin was an excellent hostess, she greeted us as we drove up and made us feel welcomed. She was also very responsive to us during the week if we had any questions. The guest house is very clean and had everything we needed. The open floor plan with the high ceilings was very comfortable to sit and relax. We are hoping to return!
