Enjoy our home away from home. This cozy cabin has great views of Black Butte , Mt Shasta and Mt. Eddy. Located between Mt. Shasta City and Weed this location offers year round activities like hiking, biking, fishing, winter sports and so much more. Master suite is upstairs with a private bath. Two bedrooms and bathroom downstairs, one queen and two twins. Open concept kitchen with new granite counters, dining room and living room. Upstairs is a large loft with two futons and a single fold out sleeper chair. Wifi, TV, DVD, fireplace, central heating and air conditioning. This cabin has been recently remodeled. Quiet. Every traveler has different wants and needs. But for us, the house was just about perfect. Including the nighttime serenade from passing trains. We attended a seminar north of Weed and shopping/dining were handy in Lake Shasta south, Nothing to offer but praise.

It was a pleasant stay but most of the beds were very firm. The couches were comfortable though. It was an easy check in and check out.

We had a great trip. The house is bigger than we expected and felt open and great fot our group. The kitchen is fully stocked with great utensils and pots and pans etc Would definitely recommend.

Very private, kitchen had everything supplied. Fridge froze produce but was going to be looked at. Very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed our stay there

Cabin Home in the heart of Mt. Shasta

We loved our stay here. We were able to walk up the road to conservation land to watch the sun set reflections on Mt. Shasta each evening. The location was perfect for what we were looking for. The host was accommodating when certain blips took place. The house had enough room for a family of 5 where everyone could have a little space to themselves after spending so much time together. I would highly recommned staying here.

Great Mountain Cabin

The house was set up really well for guests and could fit a lot of people. It was also very open and light and airy and nice to be in. The fenced front yard was awesome to have for my son. In terms of location - it's not walkable to anything, but it's a very easy drive to the nearby towns.

What a relaxing stay

While working in Weed, we found this great cabin in the mountains. Surrounded by beautiful scenery (trees, Mt. Shasta and the river, not too far away) to relax and recharge. Hard to come back to our normal houses after staying here. Peaceful relaxation serenity. Thank you for being a great host!

Roomy stay

Great place for our family gathering during the 4th of July celebration in Mt. Shasta.owners and/or neighbor were responsive. Only issues were the internet connection was weak and the water pressure was spotty. Overall we had a great stay.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. The internet has always been a little sensitive due to our proximity to Black Butte. Thanks to you, we were able to figure out the pump was breaking down and replaced it. 👍

Good fit for family gatherings.

Hosts very accomadating and helpful. Very quiet. We did not spend much time at vrbo we were visiting family in area. But it was a great place to crash each night.

Cabin was sufficient , upstairs bed was like sleeping in a rock, carpet was old and kinda gross. Railing on loft is a little sketchy and stairs are very steep, I would not recommend for small children. Photos posted make it seem way nicer than it actually was. Would not stay there again.

Great house in a magical place

Somehow this house manages to be near the highway and train tracks (like most of the Shasta area) without making you feel that way. The yard is small but has lots of amenities and was fun to hang out in. The house was spacious and comfortable. The owner was also quite gracious and accommodating when it came to some screwups on my part. :)

Perfect getaway place for the holiday weekend

Plenty of room for 4 of us. The upstairs bedroom has an en suite bathroom, which I don't think is listed on the posting, but is a really nice-to-have. Follow up communication with the owner/property manager about personal items left behind by mistake was not responded to, unfortunately. Otherwise, a great experience!

Great location! Close to Mr Shasta and no neighbors.

The stay was great and house was set up perfectly for two small families! One bedroom downstairs is advertised as a queen, but it is only a double/full. The upstairs king bed and downstairs full bed could stand to be replaced soon, but all the other furniture is lovely and comfy. Owners were great at communicating! Great place...would definitely return!! 💜

Alan and I both grew up in the Bay Area, married in 1985 and moved to the Grass Valley area. Raised our 3 children and ran a thriving Autoglass business for 20 years. We now have 3 grand sons, who luckily live nearby. We enjoy skiing, scuba diving and traveling. Family is important to us, and a place to make memories in seems like a lovely thing to do.
We just fell in love with the area.

We purchased this as an investment property which sits adjacent to self storage property that we invested in. Also, because we fell in love with the area. So many places to explore and enjoy. The views are amazing!

Conveniently located 5 miles from Mt. Shasta City and only 2 miles from Weed. Easy access off of Hwy 5. It is the last property located at the end of Truck Village Drive. Also has a studio apartment over the garage to rent as well sleeps 2/4.
