Our stay was wonderful! The location right on the lake couldn’t have been better. Loved the sauna and the wood stove inside the home; made good use of both. And the stars at night are incredible! Will definitely stay here again if available.

Beautiful setting, large windows face Lake Superior and the view is wonderful. The recliner sofa and a chair are comfortable and the wood stove makes for cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Despite mostly cloudy weather and some rain we enjoyed multiple waterfalls, great fall color, The Den restaurant in Houghton, yooperlite hunting and The Jam Pot for baked goods. We will definitely be back!

We love staying at “The best beach on Keweenaw….” And that certainly proved true as the beach is spectacular, as is the view. The home was great - thoughtfully laid out, furnished, decorated, etc. We were sorry to only be able to stay 2 nights of our week vacation. This cozy place surpassed all the other spots we stayed. Hope to return! Todd, the host, was vey helpful and responsive to the questions that we had.

The place was great, lots of books, comfortable seating and a wood burning stove to relax in front of. Sauna was amazing and we’d definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin on the lake! We utilized the sauna, our dog had a blast playing around in the snow, we enjoyed waking up the sunrise and getting cozy around the wood burning fireplace downstairs. Lovely get away and will be sure to return! The host was also very communicative and helpful!
