We really enjoyed the place, and we would love to come back someday. I have stayed at quite a few places, and this is my favorite. I appreciated how easy it was to stay there, with no pressure or fear of the "extra stuff" that some places put on renters. They responded to questions. Thank you to the host, appreciate your hospitality.

House provides all the amenities you need to relax and enjoy this peaceful lake. Great home base location for the many day trip opportunities. Hosts provided great information and were quick to respond to questions.

Everything was good at the property. Plenty of space to get together and long shallow area in the lake for kids to swim. Need to bring own life jacket for kayaks.

Nice location! Very QUIET!!! Nice to be able to have our 2 dogs with us! Hosts are very responsive!! Kayaks were handy! Clean home! We enjoyed watching the sea planes take off and land!

Being located at the end of a dirt road made arriving there feel like the gateway to pure pleasure. Then seeing the lake and knowing we get to stay there for 4 days made it even more fun. The house felt like home as soon as we walked in. So much space! The view was spectacular and having a lake right out the back door was magnificent. Looking over the lake at the village during the day and during the night was just special. And we apparently timed it right for the bright moon to bless us the last two nights. The sauna house was soooooo cute, we didn't end up using it, but I loved walking into it and checking out the decor. The Douglas Houghton Falls, so close to the house was the highlight of the trip. We go to the UP often, but that was our first experience and we will go again! The Hungarian Falls is just as close. We enjoyed the easy walk along the river while taking in the beauty and autumn smells of the land. We will return :)

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Pet friendly and nice areas to walk. Great food recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

I am sorry the dishwasher did not work. There was glass in the garbage disposal that casued the breaker to trip. All is working now. Hope to see you again.

This was the perfect getaway! The outside seating to be by the water and the quietness of the area were perfect. Close enough to town and far away enough to feel the relaxing UP ambiance!

The perfect get-away for my husband and I. This place has everything you need … a complete home-away-from home … and working with our hosts was so easy and accommodating! The pictures are exactly what this wonderful place looks like. So clean, and pet friendly! Private little beach, fire pit … WONDERFUL!

Fantastic Cozy Property at the end of a secluded road, with amazing access to Winter and Summer Sports and Area Attractions..!!! Layout of the house and entire Property is OUTSTANDING..!!!
