Amazing

Beautiful property. From entering the property to the cabin. Loved it. Bedrooms great including bedding very comfortable. First time we have had sufficient for everyone. Table settings great for our family. Beautifully decorated , beautiful view, quiet , no complaints

Road heading up to cabin was not bad. A little scary if you have a huge vehicle (not a two vehicle passing). Entry was easy. The decor and cabin felt very cozy and was cute. The bathrooms need to be scrubbed/cleaned better, there were hairs everywhere from previous stays and lots of dust and the tile was very dirty, along with moldy shower curtains. The view is BEAUTIFUL. Really the only negative thing is that the listing had stated the fireplace was avaliable to use from October 1st - March 31st but when we arrived on October 9th, the fireplace was inoperable due to the gas being turned off. I inquired about it with the site manager, and basically had to beg for it to be turned on. I suggest instead of having dates, maybe say something about the weather because it got down to 48f our first night and we all were saying how much better it would be with the fireplace. Overall 6/10.

Beautiful View

This cabin has it all, Beautiful View, Spacious,well stocked kitchen,The decor and thought put into this cabin adds to your vacation! We really enjoyed the game room! And I would say probably our favorite memory of this cabin was the black bears,so cool to see! We had a momma and her 3 older babies visit us twice!

Great for our family vacation.

The house was nice with great views from the decks. The rooms worked well for our family. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed for cooking meals. The whole family had a great time in the game room. Overall we really enjoyed the cabin.

The views were beautiful, the decks were spacious. The house and bedrooms were very nice. We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub.

Amazing Cabin

This was by far the best cabin we’ve ever stayed in. It was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We had lots of fun in the game room. The area was very peaceful and the view was amazing! We will definitely recommend this cabin and will book it again in the very near future.

Loved this cabin!

This was the best cabin for three couples and a toddler! We loved everything! It was very clean. We were able to see some bears and cubs. I wouldn’t change a thing!

The view was amazing....lots to do in cabin at night..lovedthe 3bedroom King size beds.

Will be back for sure. We saw LOTS of bears especially a mom & her 3 cubs. Cabin was very clean & spacious. Lots to do in game room for all ages from coloring books board games to playing pool...a True Window to Paradise....

Birthday celebration

Beautiful property with plenty of room for 2 families to spread out. Breathtaking views! Gameroom was a huge hit with all the teens and kept them occupied and happy!

High ceilings with wrap around windows bring Beautiful Scenery from living room from every balcony,

Spacious theme bedrooms were beautifully decorated Great location to downtown Gatlinburg. Decks were wonderful for morning coffee. Didn’t get to see any bears though. Would definitely recommend this house for family get together. We had 7 Adults and 1 infant. Plenty of room

Better than expected!!!!!

Beautiful view, bears, and absolutely no traffic! The only thing I would change is to bring a little bit of groceries on the way there to get you by the first night until you can hit the grocery store about 15 minutes away. Other than that, I would recommend it to anyone and would go back for sure.!!

Very Good Experience

This a beautiful property. We had some small problems. But called and everything was taking care of Right away. Everyone at the Office where very kind and helpful. House was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It was Us and our 2 Adult sons with there wives and one Grandbaby. The layout is great. This place is wonderful. It Was are Best Trip yet. would go here again.

Better than the photos!

What a beautiful and inviting home! Loved all the space and the game room! Each part of the house is decorated in a different animal theme which was so cute! A great game selection. Very convenient to Gatlinburg parkway! My only issue was getting up to the house made me nervous and our Honda Accord scraped every time we left. But totally worth it. We will be back.

Amazing!

We had two families stay at the property. It was 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 18 months, 4, 5 and 7). Everyone had a ton of room and we never felt like we were in anyone’s way. The kids LOVED the gameroom. The roads on the way up to the cabin were a little scary at first, but once you drive it a couple times it isn’t too bad. The views at the cabin were literally priceless. It was beautiful! We also spotted two bears nearby. The property manager Shelly reached out to us prior to the trip and during. That was nice! I would highly recommend this cabin and would stay again!

Beautiful cabin, awesome gameroom, but.......

This was our first trip to Gatilinburg with kids and grandkids. The house fit our needs perfectly and we really enjoyed the awesome game room. We enjoyed the views of the mountains and watching the sunsets from the living room and balconies. We had a few housekeeping issues and our grandson got mites from sleeping on sleeper sofa in game room. No response to email to contact person regarding this but hope they are taking care of this so it doesn't happen to next renters.

Wow This was a perfect vacation

This property is all that it says in the listing and more. We experienced zero problems. The property manager called to make sure everything was fine the day we checked in. We had lots of fun in the game room. We found it a perfect place to rest and relax. The views are amazing. We had daily visits from a bear family which was the hilight of each day. The hot tub is relaxing, the fireplace was cozy and the grill and seating outside was awesome!!! Each year we take our adult children on family vacation. Typically it has been the beach or a cruise but we decided to do the mountains this year and we may never go back to the beach. This property was absolutely perfect and made our vacation perfect!!!!! If you are looking for a great location this is it!!!!

Absolutely Perfect.

I spent the weekend of my 20th birthday here with five other friends, and it was beyond everything I had hoped for. It exceeded my expectations as both cabin and functioning home. The views are incredible, the beds are unbelievably comfortable, everything works beautifully, and the amenities are astounding. One day ended up being rainy and grey, and I could not have thought of a better way to spend it than in A Window to Paradise. It's homey, stylish (even better than the pictures make it seem!), modern, with just a touch of "90s vibe" in the downstairs game room, whose use was exhausted for the duration of the time. We even got to see a mother black bear and her two cubs! Renee and Val are also very kind; Renee is a quick responder who continuously checked in to make sure we were comfortable and that everything was to our liking. I could go on and on as I genuinely only have praise for this lovely cabin and its owners. It was worth every penny, and I will certainly be coming back again!

Cabin in the woods

We rented this cabin for Christmas to spend with our family. We saw bears. It is very well stocked to cook a meal, as far as cookware. It lacked pot holders and kitchen towels. The beds were comfortable in all the rooms. The bathrooms were ok but I think more towels should be provided. Now for the very big con-it was not very clean(it wasn’t dirty like nasty toilets, more it needs a thorough deep clean for dust and debris under and behind furniture). It was beetle swam season and although they can’t control that, there were hundreds of dead beetles behind the nightstands in the bedrooms. There was dust on every surface from the ceiling fans to the shelves in the bedrooms and walls in the bathrooms. A strand of dust fell from the ceiling on one of our guests sitting near the fireplace. We had a young child with us and preparing to leave, we pulled couch cushions to make sure we were not leaving toys, it looks like the cleaners haven’t done that in a very long time. Under furniture was not clean. The dust bothered my family members allergies. Overall our trip was enjoyable, the memories we made as a family will always make us smile and the cabin is a nice place. I was able to get Instacart and DoorDash, so all in all the location is good and cabin is sufficient.

STAY AWAY !!!!

Very Disappointing experience…we stayed here in 2nd week of May 2024. I would NOT recommend this place. We booked this based on the reviews on vrbo, i wonder how this cabin can get such a nice rating, its just below average. This is our 5th stay in last 7 years at cabins here in smokies and I must say by far this was the worst cabin experience. The time we entered the cabin, we experienced an unpleasant nasty smell as if it was locked for months and there is dust in the air. The smell was intense in the game room. We were traveling with a 8 month old baby. He started coughing so badly, that we couldn’t take him to the game room or let him crawl freely. Overall, condition of this cabin is so old fashioned that it is not giving feeling of freshness. All the furniture, couches, decor is all very old, feels like filled with lot of dust inside. This cabin need serious renovation in every room. All the couches need to replaced as cleaning of these couches wont do anything to make it feel fresh. Kitchen look and feel is very dirty and needs complete makeover. Upon checkin we immediately contacted cabin manager expressing concerns about cleanliness and overall condition of this cabin, he said sorry about this and he offered to send cleaners (which we said not needed) as this cabin need lot more than just deep cleaning….it need good thought of renovation. I would NOT recommend this cabin at all. Considering the negative factors, its better to stay away from this cabin.
