Fabulous but needs air conditioning.

It's very spacious, has a great shower and is close to everything. Communication was fantastic. The one split bed needs to be replaced. It's very low to the ground and is uncomfortable. It was only May and it was very very warm, I cannot imagine being in the apartment in August. Need to purchase an air conditioner.

Old, worn and tatered.

The photos taken of this unit must have been taken long ago. The couch and cushions were worn. The twin beds are cots. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator (to be fair, the listing didn't mention one). The street entrance and staircase are very dirty and in need of a paint job. We stayed in VRBO's all over the world. This place is a dump. We left without spending a night.

Great Location and Lovely Apartment

This is a beautiful property with a fantastic location, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if lucky enough to get back to Lisbon. We had no difficulty calling management when we arrived to say we were heading to the property. Carlos met our taxi when we arrived and was kind, funny, and helpful for check-in and check-out; he arranged a taxi for our trip back to the airport, too. Emailed questions were all answered promptly. The apartment is very well-appointed, quiet, and clean. Grocery stores are close by if you plan to cook; coffee, tea, chocolate, and sugar were provided if you just need a morning cup to charge you up before heading out for a day of sightseeing. :-) Winter visitors note: We found that the radiators' bright operating lights and periodic clicking made sleep a little challenging. If you're not used to electric radiators, I'd recommend a sleep mask and earplugs. Definitely not a big deal; just a little traveler tip to make your winter stay a little easier.

Bonito apartamento en Alfama

Apartamento muy bonito y bien ubicado en una callecita sin salida en el barrio de Alfama, Tranquila y sin ruidos. Las fotos son 100% reales. La recepción por parte de Joyce, inmejorable. Propiedad atenta y de rapida respuesta. Recomendable 100%

Apartamento elegante y tranquilo

Estupendo apartamento, amueblado con mucho detalle, tal y como se ve en las fotos, con la cocina totalmente equipada. Los propietarios nos informaron perfectamente sobre qué hacer y cómo movernos en Lisboa. Zona muy tranquila con la Plaza del Comercio a 10 minutos andando. Totalmente recomendable.

Magnífico

Somos una familia de Sevilla y hemos podido disfrutar de este apartamento durante cinco días. Un apartamento estupendo al que no le falta ningún detalle. Totalmente recomendable.

El mejor por el trato, buena ubicación, limpio, bien surtido de todas las puequeñas cosas que se necesitan para cocinar o tomar algo, al igual que los utensilios y todo en buen estado.

A great stay!

It was a terrific stay in the appartement in Lissabon. The place was cozy, clean and with all the nessasery thing you need in a appartement. The neighboughood was very fine - 1 minute, and you had the greatest autenticitet off Lissabon 😀 We loved it!

Appartement idéal pour découvrir Lisbonne

Bel appartement idéalement situé proche du centre ville de Lisbonne (environ 15 mn à pieds), décoré avec goût et très bien équipé. Rue très calme à proximité des petits restaurants pour dîner le soir et de la gare (Métro et train). Excellente communication avec Fatima qui nous as envoyé régulièrement les informations en amont de notre séjour. Nous avons été très gentiment accueillis par Sandra qui a pris le temps de nous expliquer toutes les astuces pour visiter Lisbonne. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la bouteille de vin portugais et boîte de gâteau pour nous souhaiter bienvenue. Nous avons profité pleinement de ces quelques jours ensoleillés pour découvrir une ville magnifique et très accueillante.

Nice Apartment in Alfama!

Very nice, spacious, apartment. Communication was good, also. The only issue we had is that the apartment is on the second floor and there were people renting short term, above the apartment and they were loud in the middle of the night. Also, construction was going on in the apartment building on the third floor, which was quite noisy, at times.

Beautiful apartment, perfectly located

The apartment is perfectly situated in the Alfama, close to the station, several sights. It's been beautifully renovated and redecorated with a more than fully equipped kitchen. It is big enough for four, though more comfortable for three. Check-in and -out was quick and easy as was the communication in general. Daniel gave us a lot of great tips at our check-in. They were all really helpful and great hosts! We definitely recommend a trip to Lisbon and a stay in this apartment.

Lovely apartment, perfect location!

We had an absolutely perfect stay in the Alfama. Our accommodations were wonderful, and exactly as portrayed. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and we had everything we needed. We are missing our lovely apartment and hope to return some day! The Alfama is our favorite neighborhood in Lisbon, but you will need to be prepared to walk. Part of the charm is getting lost on the small lanes and roads---just magical. Thank you!

Family city break in Lisbon

Lisbon is wonderful and Travessa III is a great place from which to explore the city. It’s a charming apartment in a wonderful neighbourhood and there’s plenty to explore nearby. Heart and Soul are great, friendly hosts. Check-in and check-out were smooth and Carlos gave us plenty of useful advice regarding travel options, restaurants and must-see sights. Our kids loved the space and the fact that it was a quiet building and street during the night but close to bustling streets by day. All in all, a great place for our first trip to Lisbon!

Très agréable séjour à Lisbonne

L'appartement est très agréable à vivre, très propre et bien agencé pour une famille de quatre personnes ( 2 adultes - 1 jeune adulte et une adolescente). Il est situé dans le quartier de l'Alfama, à environ 15 mn à pied de la place du commerce et 5 mn de la gare Santa Apolonia où l'on trouve le métro et un petit supermarché. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par José, que nous remercions pour ses précieux conseils, nous remercions également toute l'équipe. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons à tous cet appartement.
