Enjoy a true Northern Michigan getaway at this roomy riverfront home on the South Branch of the AuSable River, comfortably sleeping eight guests with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. A large deck overlooks the river, offering peaceful views for morning coffee or evening relaxation, while a fire pit on the riverbank invites you to unwind under the stars. Inside, a beautiful see-through fireplace connects the living and dining areas, creating a warm gathering space year-round.
Located upstream of all canoe liveries for a quieter stretch of water in a small and friendly neighborhood within walking distance from the quaint downtown area of Roscommon, this location is perfect.
The home is just four miles from the renowned Mason Tract (flies-only water) making it ideal for trout fishing, kayaking, and canoeing enthusiasts. Outdoor adventure continues located 10 minutes from beautiful Higgins Lake, and just 10 minutes from Forest Dunes Golf Club. A 2 car garage is available for your use along with 2 canoes, a variety of skis, and plenty of firewood.

We spend a wonderful week at the cabin. My husband and I wanted to get away and this was the perfect place. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. The upper deck is perfect to sit and enjoy nature. The birds are wonderful to watch. On our last night a eagle flew over the yard, what a great site to end our stay! Can't wait to return next year!!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Great location close to town and right on the river. Nice fire pit set up and backyard. Clean, comfortable and had all the kitchen amenities with a brand new propane grill. Would stay there again and would recommend.

This big house is perfect for a family stay. I've stayed here three times with my kids and it's always been a great experience. The kitchen is big and has everything you need to prepare meals. The house itself is very clean and organized. Super close (walking distance) to kayak livery and not far from Grayling. Being able to bring pets is a great bonus! My dog loved visiting the river in front of the property every day. If you're considering staying here, I highly recommend.

Im a life long resident of Roscommon. I grew up on this river and love all it has to offer. We fish, canoe and swim in the summer and ski in the winter.
Roscommon is home.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This house is cool because it is close to town but may as well be a million miles away. There are no canoe liveries upstream so there is no canoe traffic. it is totally peaceful. The trail head for the ski trail is a short walk down the road. The open floor plan with a fireplace in the middle makes for the tops in relaxation.
