NEW.. Just added A/C to both bedrooms!! Oceanfront Honokeana Cove 2 Br / 2 Ba Ground Floor End Unit. You are just a few steps to the ocean for awesome snorkeling with an abundance of green sea turtles, or swimming in the heated pool, cooking on the oceanfront gas BBQs, watching seasonal whales from your shaded lanai (patio), and enjoying beautiful sunsets from our home.

Honokeana Cove Unit 109 has all new tile flooring, an updated master shower in the ensuite bathroom, and tinted double-pane windows for temperature and sound control. This unit stays shady & cool and has great corner airflow but also has ceiling fans in all rooms and air conditioning in both bedrooms. Amenities include a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, flat screen smart HD-TV, and free secure in-unit Wi-Fi. Master Bedroom has a NEW memory-foam King Bed and second bedroom has 2 twin beds which can be converted into a King size bed upon request. Both have ample luggage storage underneath. Our rental office and resident manager are on premises.

The gated property surrounds the secluded Honokeana Bay with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai. The grounds are beautifully kept and the peaceful cove offers fantastic snorkeling, diving, and paddle-boarding. A sparkling heated swimming pool is only steps from your condominium, which adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise, as do the tiki torches that are lit nightly!

Honokeana Coveis in Napili, West Maui, just a quarter mile south of Napili Bay's sandy public beach.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

The beds were fantastic, I was able to get a full night's rest every night (which is rare in a rental).Sitting on the couch with the view of the cove was fantastic, we could see the whales from the kitchen while prepping food for the family.The windows are all upgraded and the bedrooms has AC or dehumidifiers to help keep the temps even regardless of the weather. Honokeana cove has a huge turtle population so book this if you want to see lots of turtles and wildlife!

Amazing

The property was well appointed and the access to the pool and cove with amazing marine life is as good as it gets. We have stayed at various ocean front places in Maui but this is our new favorite and hope to return soon.

Spring Break ‘24

Reviewer Comments: Amid the busy west Maui coastline, filled with resorts and homes, we were very happy to find this small gathering of well-kept condos with the most amazing snorkeling just a few steps from our balcony! Here we were very comfortable, the other renters were friendly and welcoming and we were close to many sites and beaches. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Maui!

Fantastic stay in a lovely place

The atmosphere there is chill and friendly, especially around the BBQ's at night. Snorkeling and turtle watching are a lot of fun. There are tidepools to be explored at low tide. And the sunsets are just magnificent.Our unit was clean, very well-appointed and maintained. Thanks for everything!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location is perfect for our family. The rental and property manager are easy to work with as well as the place is kept perfectly. The only warning is the units do not have air conditioning and inside this unit was steamy and humid during this time in June. I was unaware there was no air conditioning until arrival.

At that time you sure wish you had checked us out thoroughly before following through with the reservation. We have very few units with A/C so when you book your next stay at the Cove, give us a call and we can steer you in the right direction to a unit that will suit your needs. We take pride in making sure everyone has a good time while you are here. Book early in order to get the right unit for you. This unit is one of our best 2 bedroom units at the Cove. Epic Maui with a couple cautions

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth year at Honokeana. For the last several years we’ve booked the same unit because it works so well for our family. The location and access to wonderful snorkeling is incredible. A 10 on a scale of 10. That said, this is a “family” vacation resort circa the 1960’s/70’s when it was built. It can be noisy with lots of kids and adults having a good time. And...it is expensive. We paid $450/night which included taxes. Overall though, you won’t be disappointed by Honokeana with a few cautions.

Honokeana Cove Rental Pros & Cons

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about the complex and our unit was as advertised. We had a great 7 nights here with 2 other couples. Our unit was clean, well maintained and furnished. For two couples sharing, it was just a bit tight for space but very comfortable. This unit has some pros and cons. Pro: Shaded from direct sun and overlooking the pool but off to the side. Perfect in that regard. Loved watching the sunrise on Molokai from early-morning perch. Con: This unit catches noise from the street, the gate entrance, and the kids who live next door. Also, no AC is a deal-killer for us.

A Perfect Maui Destination

The management company helped me in securing four units for the same week, one unit had to be changed three times and they hung in there with me to accommodate the changes. This was my third time visiting the Cove. I have stayed in three different buildings and there is no bad view or location. I am always fascinated with the turtles and love to watch them come in for their afternoon nap. They are amazing and am so glad they are protected so we may enjoy them for years to come. It would be hard to find anything negative to say so I will not. The Cove is a little slice of heaven and I told my family if they ever lose me, look at The Cove and you may find me lounging by the pool or counting turtles from my deck. Thank you owners for sharing your homes.
