Thank you for your comments. This time of your is normally the Family Time at the Cove. You should plan your next Cove vacation for anytime from January to the first of June to avoid kids. But if you are bringing your family with small children the summer months are prefect for you. Give us a call and I can steer you in the right direction for your next Cove vacation.

Not our first time and certainly not our last. The onsite manager, was amazing during the scary time of no power or connection to people when the fire destroyed Lahina. He was calm and helpful to the visitors.

Clean and comfortable. No air conditioner, but during our stay the weather was a little chilly anyways. But on a hot summer day, might be a problem. Beautiful views and snorkeling. No walking paths and no sidewalks around the area.

Mahalo for staying with us. There are wonderful walking paths right up the road in Kapalua where you can walk all along the coast or along an old golf course path up to a duck pond. Next time just ask and we can guide you!

So easy to park, check-in and get distracted by the beautiful grounds. Then it’s only steps from the lanai to snorkeling with the most beautiful fish. Didn’t see the octopus but the turtles were amazing. So nice to have those BBQs available for our fresh fish. A friendly, cozy place with easy access to to hiking, shops and restaurants.

Honokeana cove is one of the most beautiful, peaceful places in Maui. If old Hawaii is what you’re looking for, look no further. The grounds are beyond lovely and so well taken care of. Absolutely LOVE the experience. The condo is so bright and cheerful with an indescribable view.

This was one of our first VRBO experiences and we were more than impressed.This property is clean and well equipped and in a great location. When I initially looked into this place I was skeptical about the claims of seeing turtles so frequently but I have to say that we saw no less than 10 every day minimum.Close to shops and supermarket and just a really well maintained and managed property.

This is the only place we will stay while visiting Maui. So special and private.Unit 207 is our favorite location in the cove. The office manager - Su is the best!She treats all guests as family whether you're new to the cove or a returning guest. While talking with other visitors we've found that most are returning guests. Once you experience it, it's hard to stay anywhere else :)

Condo 207 was very nice pour lighting but not a problem. Very unruly kids yelling at the top of there lungs parents were oblivious to them no one seemed to care put a damper on our stay several days it was so bad we were forced to leave and spend they day elsewhere. We will not go back

This property is very well maintained, clean and beautiful. Each unit has a great view to the ocean, pool and the well manicured grounds. Our unit, 207, was perfect for the two of us. No A/C wasn’t a problem as it cooled off at night. The furniture is a bit dated and it would be better having a deck that’s not carpet. It rained a few days so the carpet was wet. No laundry in the unit but a coin laundry is just down the steps. We would book here again.

I have stayed at Honokeana Cove several times over the last 15 years. It always feels like coming home. This time the cove was perfect for snorkeling everyday we were there - calm waters and sunny days. 207's bathroom was recently updated and is very nice. The kitchen is small with undersize oven and dish washer. Also, the lighting and electrical setup was confusing. I was always trying to figure out which switch worked which fan/light. - that is why the 4 stars.

Four stars are fine. Each unit is individualized so switches are in different places in each unit; That can be confusing. The updated bathroom is great and soon the unit will be tiled throughout. Thank you very much for your comments.

Traveled to Maui in July of 2018. Our condo was upstairs and there is no elevator. If you are handicapped or have lots of luggage and can't to stairs, do yourself a favor and book a downstairs condo. Grounds are well kept. Condo was clean. There is NO air conditioning so if you don't mind heat during the day, you are in the right place. It did cool down at night and it was comfortable enough to sleep with all the fans on.The cove is wonderful. Lots of fish and turtles and fun to rent paddle boards and have the place pretty much to yourself. The condo is 30 minutes from Front Street in Lahaina so if you want to be closer to shops and restaurants of Lahaina, pick another property.We had a great time and would definitely come back again.
