Vacation 2022

What a wonderful place to stay on the beach. Private beach with easy quick access to chairs and umbrella! Great Restaurants nearby! I would highly recommend spending your next vacation here.

Whispering Sands Unit 103

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful 4th of July, 2026 with family at this unit. The fireworks were fantastic. The location is amazing and the beach was so inviting. We loved being on the 1st floor and just walking out to the beach - such a perfect spot. Just a few items that could make it even more perfect:1. The bunk room was hot. Need to have added ventilation and a ceiling fan in that room. Even if it means changing the bunk config. The guests had to have 2 fans running to be able to sleep.2. There was a smell in the unit when we arrived. I think it was cat smell but can't say for 100% but there was an unplesant smell. I brought clorox wipes and lysol so we got it managed. 3. The door to the unit and surrounding steps were very dirty. Needed to be swept or blown off, this tracked unnecessary dirt into the unit. 4. I would recommend a bigger couch in the unit to handle more family fun around the couch. 5. The table and chairs on the deck were perfect!

Great condo. Loved the decor!

There are two king bedrooms. One has a large bath and huge closet attached. The other shares a bathroom with the bunk room, which is perfect for parents and children.

Good stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an okay stay at Whispering Sands 103. The walkout patio was the biggest highlight and the views can’t be beat. We appreciated the nice rockers and dining table on the patio. The beach gets very busy from the popular Public Beach access right next door. Upon arriving, we found at least 6 rusted roofing nails under the breezeway where we were told to park. We spend the trip worried about a flat tire and what that could mean for our 12 hour drive back home.Inside the unit, there are signs of wear with stains on the walls and furniture and the floors sloped in a number of places, possibly from foundation or rotting subfloor. The AC was loud when running, but kept the unit cold. There was a foul smell in the master bathroom that we couldn’t figure out. The lighting throughout the unit was odd with mismatched lightbulbs and cheap fixtures. On the last day we found a roach in the unit that crept us out a bit. Overall we expected more for the cost, but the view and spending time on the beach made the trip memorable. With a few relatively cheap upgrades, this place could be much nicer.

Beautiful Condo, Great for Large Groups, Stunning Beach Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this condo! This was our second stay at Whispering Sands, and we would definitely stay again. The location is great, and it had plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and one 14-year-old. The large dining table, bunk room, and well-stocked kitchen were all wonderful. Everything was very clean, and there were plenty of dishes and silverware.One thing we especially appreciated was the air conditioning. We’ve stayed in several condos in this area, and many feel a bit humid, but this one stayed cool and comfortable the entire week.The condo includes beach service with two chairs and an umbrella, and we were able to easily rent two additional sets through the beach service company.A few things to know that aren’t obvious from the listing: to enter the condo from the parking lot side, you do have to go up a few steps. Although it’s ground level, you still use the boardwalk to reach the beach. Guests with mobility issues may want to keep this in mind. Our son had broken his foot just before the trip and was still able to manage it.The only drawback for us is that the condo is right next to the public beach access, so that section of beach gets very crowded. While no one set up directly in front of our reserved chairs, we did see some people ignore the private beach signs and set up in front of others or farther down the private beach.Overall, this is a fantastic condo with plenty of space, great amenities, and a perfect location. We’d happily stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Whispering Sands for years and absolutely love the location and the easy access to the beautiful beach. Unfortunately, this year we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness and overall experience.The beds in the bunk room were still dirty when we arrived, the bathroom tubs still had sand in them, and the floors did not appear to have been cleaned. The sofa was also dirty, and we ended up having to lay a blanket over it before using it.We also noticed that the area no longer feels as private as it used to. With the public beach access, people were frequently sitting right in front of the area, which made it much less enjoyable and relaxing.We truly love this property and the location, but we hope these issues can be addressed because we would love to continue coming back

Literally a step from the beach!

Amazing unit! Was VERY clean, updated very nicely. Smart TVs, good wifi, strong water pressure and just steps from the Beach. We could sit on the porch and watch the kids play in the sand. This is the only way to do a beach vacation in my opinion!

Only two little things.

The only problem I had was the way I was to check in. I was travelling from 2-1/2 hours away and was not given the information to check in until I was almost there--on the day of! Usually, earlier in the week of check-in at other places on 30-A, I'm given all the information. And, the porch furniture was not comfortable, as shown in some other pictures.

Can’t beat the location. Nice updated finishes. Great responsiveness from Dune Allen Reality. Would rebook for our next beach trip!

SOOOO CLOSE TO THE WATER

The best thing about this condo is it’s proximity to the beach. It is on the first floor level, and with a quick walk down a set of stairs, you are ready to sit in your beach chair. The furnishings are modern and very tasteful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a good meal. The outdoor patio is small but was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Cons: The parking situation is a little uncertain because there are no reserved spots. There is a privacy concern because the neighbors are very close and can look over or down into your patio. Also the rental rate was rather pricey for the off-season when we were there.

Wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our stay at #103 Whispering Sands. The location is perfect, the amenities were good. Plenty of dishes, flatware and other “necessities”. The privacy of the patio area was a plus! Will definitely rent this location again.

Perfect location; beautiful condo!

We had a great stay at Whipering Sands. The location is absolute perfetion - you're literally steps from the beach. The patio furniture was dated but the condo was recently updated and beautiful. We had a truly wonderful time and would love to return in the future.

Newly renovated inside, but...

The condo is nice and newly renovated inside, and we enjoyed our week long vacation except....we had a very loud person above us who made it impossible to sleep in or go to bed early, the outside of the condo is quite aged and needs repair in most areas, Our screen door wouldn’t close, the steps to the beach are in need of repair. Also the day we arrived someone placed all their busted garbage bags full of bottles and chicken wings at our door, and the air conditioner is so loud inside the house and runs constantly.

Beautifully decorated and spacious condo right on the water

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family get away. It's literally right on the beach front and an amazing view to wake up to. We spent mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony and evenings listening to the waves. So amazing!!

Beautiful Condo, beautiful beach

Thank you for saving our spring break! What a beautiful condo! We enjoyed being on the ground floor very much, just a few steps and we were on the beautiful uncrowded beach. The condo was so clean and well decorated. It was a very relaxing week! We avoided the spring break crowds by ordering many meals from Stinky's Fish Camp and eating on the great patio. Can't beat that view!
