Wonderful weekend!
We loved this house. It is perfectly located for families wanting to enjoy Grand Geneva mountain top ski resort. The owners were very accommodating and super responsive. The house is large and had plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for our group of 7. The kitchen is very well laid out and ened up being our main gathering spot. Beautiful decks and views. This would be a great summer retreat as well. We hope to return soon!

Thank you for the 5 star review! We are absolutely thrilled that you enjoyed the home and all it has to offer. Your suggestion on more coasters is a great one. The home does have coasters, but perhaps providing more couldn't hurt. ;) When reservations are confirmed, our Guests receive an email with a link to our website that helps with planning your trip. We provide suggestions to Guest on what they might want to bring with them, as well as the amenities that will be waiting for them when they arrive.
We sincerely thank you for your recommendation of our home and would be so happy to host your next Lake Geneva getaway. Hope to see you soon!

Great escape
This house is tucked away and provides plenty of privacy for a nice getaway. Very nice. And during the hottest time of the summer, it was great to have the pool. Plenty of games for the kids, and obviously the pool. There is no wifi due to the location of the house, but it adds to the "getaway" feeling. Much needed unplugging.

An idyllic setting
The house and furnishings are lovely. The location is beautiful and serene, surrounded by beautiful forest. Pool and surroundings are excellent. Kitchen is fully equipped, and huge. Lovely deck areas. The while family, from teens to septuagenarians, loved it. Only minor ding - no direct internet feed, so no wi-fi. Be prepared to use your phone as a hotspot. It works flawlessly.

Thanks Mike! We're so very glad you and your family enjoyed the home. It has a lot to offer and we're glad you were all able to spend some quality time together. Yes- unfortunately, because of this home's rural location - WIFI isn't currently a cost-effective option. As soon as it is, we will absolutely add it. :)

perfect getaway from the city
We had a great time at this pool house near Lake Geneva. It was large, spacious for our whole family with lots of little nooks for reading and games so that everyone could congregate as well as get away for a nap or quiet time. The pool was well kept, games well stocked for all ages.
A few notes:
* serious cooks might desire to bring your own cooking utensils, I found the plastic ones provided to be tough to use, but the bars were well stocked with all the equipment needed!
* note that coffee and some cooking oil, and basic salt and pepper are provided, you'll need to buy the rest (and nothing is left behind from previous guests), but the grocery is close by

Thanks for the 5 stars Marissa! We're so happy you enjoyed the home and all of the guest amenities we provide. We think your note to future guests is spot on- thank you! The home is stocked with everything indicated in our listing and our website. Since we are a fully licensed vacation home, we are prohibited from leaving open consumables from guest to guest for safety purposes- which is one of our top priorities. ;) We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you and your family again soon! Thanks again.

Spacious and nice view
We enjoyed our stay. We loved the spacious kitchen with lots of seating. The chess set was used several times. We liked the view and it was nice to have the fireplace also!
The check in appointment did make scheduling a little challenging for us but it was helpful to have someone show us details about the home.
My rating on cleanliness wasn’t a 5 only because of dust we saw in some areas but the bathrooms were immaculate. The house was comfortable and felt clean overall.
There’s a ceiling fan in the master bedroom but not the others so if sleeping with a fan is important I’d recommend bringing a few.
Extra blankets in the bedrooms would have been helpful also but overall we enjoyed our stay.

House needs upkeep
This house had numerous windows that would not open & many of the ones that did open were missing screens. Many of the door locks were broken and very flimsy. There were ants in the kitchen. We were left one garbage bag in each bathroom and 4 in the kitchen for a week. One of three bathrooms did not have towels. The master shower was tiny and very run down as well. All of the literature mentioned a fire pit which had been removed. The pool was well maintened.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re so disappointed to hear that you weren’t completely satisfied with your stay at our home. As you can imagine, during the Spring and Summer months, the windows and screens, as well as the door knobs of the home take quite a beating. We actually have them scheduled for replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement was scheduled after your visit with us.
It’s our practice to meet our guests upon check in, to not only get them familiar with the home but to address any initial issues they find. We also make it a point to leave our cell phone numbers in the event we can be of service- for any reason. With that being said, we would’ve jumped at the opportunity to address the ants you found and lack of trash bags and towels. Our housekeeping team is fantastic- but at times, can't help but overlook some things. We’re saddened that you didn’t reach out to us to fix these details for you. We strive to have all of our guests enjoy the house at the fullest.
The master shower is actually standard size, but yes on closer inspection it can use refreshing. We will be sure to get that on the calendar.
As for your feedback on a fire pit. You must have our home mistaken with another. We do not have a fire pit at this home, therefore don’t have any literature that includes one. We completely understand how you could be mistaken and how disappointed you were to not find one.
Thank you for your compliment about our pool. It’s always a challenge to keep an outdoor pool surrounded by nature, well maintained and clean for the guests. As a result, we very much appreciate your positive comment on it!
We know you have many lodging options for lodging in Lake Geneva and are so happy you chose to stay with us. We hope to have a future opportunity to make your vacation nothing but memorable!
Cheers!

Perfect House for Family Getaway
The house and its owners met all of our expectations and then some! We loved all the amenities, especially the pool. Dean and Mele were the perfect hosts. They thought of everything, including having a smores basket for our granddaughter. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place - Highly Recommend
Great place tucked in the hills just outside of Lake Geneva - Close enough to everything but far enough away that you truly connect with nature.
Pool is perfect for family fun and deeper (maybe 10' deep end) than most pools you find nowadays.
