Sleeps up to 12. Upstairs loft: King bed, small bathroom. Bunk room: two sets of bunks(4 beds). 2nd Bedroom: queen bed. Basement room: Queen Bed. Full bathroom on main floor and basement. Living room couch is also pull out bed. Living room with log fireplace. TV, Dish network, Wifi, DVD, stereo, large dinning table, fully equipped kitchen. Large deck with gas grill. Laundry room with washer/dryer. We are pet friendly, pet fee required

This area is bueatiful already, but to get to stay in this property was a bonus. Thank you for your hospitality.

Cute cabin near lots of great hikes!

Stayed here with three friends to explore Grandfather Mountain and the Linville Gorge area. This cabin proved to be in a great spot for our purposes and was comfortable, spacious, and reasonably priced. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Second time staying and we loved it!

Everything was great, we visited many hiking trails, did river tubing and lots of other atractions. Resting every night in the beautiful deck and looking at the stars was definitively a highlight, we will for sure be back :)

We loved everything! Cozy house with history, clean, equipped with everything what you would need. We really enjoyed our weekend there and we wish to come back again!

Perfect long weekend in the mountains

My husband, two daughters, and dog stayed here for three nights. It was a rainy weekend, but that gave us the excuse to enjoy the house more. We played games, watched movies, read books, and slept and ate well. The house is very comfortable, with lots of room to spread out, and very quiet. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some R & R!

We enjoyed our stay & would like to return in the future. Although the leaves were just beginning to change color in the upper elevations, it was still very beautiful. We enjoyed the special touch of the sheep throughout the house, especially the framed tee shirt. Hearing the train pass several times daily reminded me of spending time with my grandparents. Our host was very helpful & his instructions were great.

Very good for the price that it was- plenty of space. Didnt love the very limited internet, and the lack of cell service. Overall good.

Daniel, Thank you for your review!! Cell service is limited depending on your carrier, I can't do anything about that, your in the mountains. Regarding the internet, I just installed the Starlink satellite system replacing the Dish Satellite internet and this is the first complaint. Starlink is as best as it gets, there is not any other service in the mountains. Sorry it wasn't fast enough but there are no other options and Starlink is a vast improvement over Dish. Again, thank you for your review.

Loved this place again.

It is a wonderful, wonderful cabin. Greg is one of the best owners we have ever worked with. This wasn’t our first stay and hoefully, it won’t be the last. Looking forward to our next stay real soon.

We had a whirlwind weekend. This was our first time to the area - loved it!! Will be back. The house was perfect, very clean fresh linens, lots of sleeping options! Would definitely stay again!
