This is a wonderful place to visit! The property is beautiful, the lake is amazing, and the amenities are so great! The host was very prompt to communicate. Definitely would visit again!

Had a great stay at this property, exactly as listed. It was really nice to have some kitchen essentials. Pet friendly, kayaks were a fun bonus! Only downside was there were no window coverings so it got pretty bright pretty early.

The house on the lake is such a beautiful spot on this earth . I felt so peaceful. Everything in the house is so well selected from the chairs to the silverware. We felt so comfortable in the house. The showers were excellent in both bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped , although one good knife would have been appreciated.We really were grateful for the wonderful selection of art books and delighted with the thoughtful gift basket left for us to enjoy. We had a wonderful time !!

This is an immaculate home with many amenities. We have had 2 wonderful stays here WTH granddaughters who love the lake, creek and nearby mountain activities.

We loved this lake front cabin. It was just as described, very clean and spacious. The only thing we were surprised to see is that the beach area is pretty much gone because the water was up so high. But we still swam, fished, took the boat out, grilled, and had lots of fun! The extra snacks, paper products, and bathroom toiletries were very thoughtful. My only recommendation would be to add curtains to the windows and maybe a more comfortable, larger bed upstairs. Our toddler had a tough time getting to sleep at nap/bedtime with no curtain, and was up with the sun in the mornings! We will definitely come back again sometime. Thanks so much for letting us use your home!

Wonderful lakefront property.

Beautiful piece of flat property which is not usually the case on Lake James. Great for people that love nature. My dogs also loved it there! Kayaks were a great addition. Easy access to swim in cove. House was very comfortable as well. Love the screened-in porch.

Beautiful property

This was our fourth time staying in this house on Lake James. Each tme gets better. You can walk into the lake, swim in the quiet cove, sit by the water, rest on the deck. Just wonderful.

Enjoyable long weekend at the lake

Very much enjoyed our long weekend at the lake. Appreciated the property managements upfront notice of property conditions after last years storms for us to be prepared (bring your mud shoes) and owners extra efforts to make sure lake and kayaks were accessible and usable. House was clean and cozy.

Nice place!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and was very clean and organized. We had everything we needed. The water was great for kayaking and swimming. During the weekend, the cove gets a little heavy with boat traffic but it didn't bother us. Also, make sure to wear big spray to avoid the ticks and chiggers. There are wooded areas around so that's to be expected. Overall, we loved the location and would love to stay again one day!

Dales Creek Is Awesome

Dale's Creek was private, peaceful, relaxing and stocked with all the basics one would need. The house and property was very clean and well maintained. Property management was easy to contact, understanding and responsive when we needed them. We all really enjoyed watching the large flocks of ducks and waterfowl on the cove. It was cold when we stayed, so we couldn't get in the water, but it looks amazing as a warm weather lake/stream swimming destination. We would definitely visit again!

This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was completely stocked with paper goods, cleaning things, and dishes. We used the fire pit out back, one of the charcoal grills, and the patio dining table. We did not use the kayaks due to time constraints, but they looked like fun. The only hard part was climbing the stairs! But we know it is necessary due to flooding concerns. Really well-kept and worth the price.

Perfect Balance

This lake home property is the perfect balance of comforts of home surrounded by wilderness. The lake and creek offer hours of entertainment for the family. The property itself is large which allowed everyone to spread out and find quiet time when needed. My only recommendation would be a little softer beds. The one on the third floor is very hard.

Excellent stay

This is our fourth time staying at this property and it is an excellent stay every time! This is becoming an annual tradition and my children look forward coming to this property every summer! The property is beautiful and well-maintained. We love the serene environment and the quiet secluded nature of the cove. Not only do we have a fantastic time, swimming, kayaking, and fishing in the lake, the addition of the creek to explore is a highlight for the whole family. The house is always clean and comfortable; in addition the property is well appointed with everything you’ll need during your stay. Communication with the property managers is always easy and friendly. We can’t say enough good things about our experience renting this property!
