What an amazing stay! The house is beautiful and while conveniently located just out of town, it felt wonderfully secluded surrounded by woods and right on the river. Really the best of both worlds. Our host was very responsive and attentive. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

A great property! The river was beautiful, and the house was neat as a pin and very well stocked. There is a lot of stair climbing, and at my age (80), it was a bit of a challenge. It is a great place to kick back and enjoy the solitude. The host was great, and I highly recommend this property. The town itself was too touristy for my liking but I was more than happy to spend most of my time at the cabin. It is a tad hard to find as the streets are not signed, and I would not recommend trying to find it after dark.

Beautiful home on the river, so quite yet only 5 minutes from Leavenworth and all it has to offer. Tracie was were Extremely accommodating; the house Extremely clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the views and sounds of the river, especially at daybreak with sun rising over it. One final note: the decor and furniture were simply outstanding.

Tracie and Werner have a fantastic property - very clean, well appointed, convenient location, amazing view, private setting, and comfortable accommodations. Coupled with excellent communication and service, you can't go wrong with Haus am Fluss!

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view of the river. Warm, welcoming environment filled with personal touches. Plenty of room for our party of 6.Would definitely recommend.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin just outside downtown Leavenworth. We enjoyed sitting on the chairs by the river and on the deck, enjoying the scenery and animals such as osprey, squirrel, and Stellars jays. The other houses along the private road are on the opposite side of the house, so there is a sense of privacy on the deck and at the river. The road is just beyond the river but any road noise is obscured by the river sounds and takes just minutes to visit downtown for shopping/dining. We often saw deer along the backroads too. The house was comfortable with great cabin decor and lots of quality pots/pans/tableware and very clean but could have used some niceties like microwave containers, kleenix, luggage racks, a laundry basket, and footstool in L.R. The many lights and floor lamps were great, but more lighting upstairs and in the bathrooms would be even better as would larger/more towel racks in baths. We appreciated that doors and windows had screens so we could open them for air/nature sounds without the bugs getting in. The Direct TV, showers, and heat worked well (too cold to try a/c). The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip, and the ping pong table was fun. The property was just thirty minutes from Lake Wenatchee and Wenatchee/Cashmere in the other direction for easy day trips as well as sightseeing along Hwy 2. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Haus am Fluss in Leavenworth to all.

This was an absolutely beautiful home - clean, well cared for, and the location was perfect! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. I also very much appreciated the attention to safety and what was readily provided in case of an emergency. The host was very easy to work with. And being right by the river was a treat. We even had a few deer pass through on the morning we left. Pretty much idyllic!
