PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Our house is conveniently located just a few blocks from the lake. We are walking distance to Regan State Beach, and El Dorado Beach (see map), both have public access. The Casinos at Stateline, and the Heavenly Ski Resort are about 2 miles away. Barton Memorial Hospital and Medical Center is 2.8 miles

Public transportation center is 1 1/2 blocks from our house on the main highway, South Lake Tahoe Blvd, in front of the VISITOR CENTER office. The VISITOR CENTER office provides free travel information, maps, brochures and coupon books to local attractions and dining. There are several restaurants, cafe's, liquor store, and bike rental shop just a block and a half down the street on the main highway. All are within walking distance.

The house is cozy and warm in the winter, with forced air central heating, and a full hearth, wood burning fireplace. In the summer, the large, fenced back yard includes a picnic table and bar area for outdoor dining. Our property has street level parking on a paved driveway, with room for two vehicles.

This home perfectly met our needs. Comfortable beds. Living room also comfy for relaxing after being out enjoying the area. Host was great with communication. We would stay here again if we return to South Lake Tahoe. Location is awesome.

Wonderful stay, walking distance to the lake and many eateries and shops. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect for weekend getaway! Communication with host was very pleasant and prompt. Definitely recommend for a South Lake Tahoe home base away from busy Stateline but close enough to still enjoy all the area offers!

We had a lovely time visiting South Lake Tahoe and staying at this cozy house. It was a great size for our small family. It had a functional layout with an open living room and adjacent kitchen, good cookware, clean bathroom, and comfortable beds. Check-in was easy and Michael was very responsive to communication.The location was excellent and the neighborhood charming. The bike path was a block away and was our primary way to get around town. The shops on Rt 50 at the end of the street include several great cafes, food, and some shopping. Several beaches were a few minutes away by bike and the nearby meadow was beautiful at sunset.We would definitely consider staying here again in future trips.

Wonderful place! Clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed. Close to everything! Owner was very responsive when needed. Will stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michael’s property. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the noise of the main town. It’s blocks from the lake. Perfect for small families or couples. Michael is a great host! We will be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Tahoe rental! The home was incredibly cozy and truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was very clean and well cared for, and the communication with the owner was excellent throughout the entire process.The location was also extremely convenient — close to the lake, restaurants, and other businesses, while still feeling relaxing and comfortable. It was also close enough to Stateline to enjoy evening entertainment without a long drive. Overall, this rental was a great value and we would absolutely stay here again!

Great place and great location if you want to be close enough many things without being in the mix down at Stateline. We didn't cook much but for what we did cook the kitchen was stocked more than enough. The beds and rooms were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Michael was very welcoming and available whenever you needed him. The place is so homey and comfortable, it was great to be able to unwind after long days of skiing. We uilized the kitchen (everything you could ask for) and the washer and dryer were indispensable. The location is amazing, nice and quiet, but very close to everything you need. Would happily stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The house is small but since I came alone so it was more than adequate. It lacked for nothing, everything I wanted was available and close at hand.The owner was gracious and accommodating. We spoke the day before my arrival so that he could answer any questions I might have. I especially want to note how clean and neat the house is; I can’t recall another place I’ve stayed at that was as tidy as this one. Also, it’s a small thing, but for once this was a place where electrical outlets were easily accessible for recharging the various electronic devices I brought along. Finally, the house is located in the one area I most like staying in South Lake Tahoe, Al Tahoe, close to both the lake and restaurants. I’m hoping to stay here again in the not too distant future.

Thank you Gordon for the heart felt review. Our place is one of the few "cozy cabin" type homes for vacation rentals in our area. Our neighborhood is where everyone's grandparents bought a place years ago, then passed it to the next generation. That's why we bought our place, besides having the rental income for my retirement. This is a cozy property, very clean. The kitchen was very well furnished. Michael is the best VRBO host I have ever worked with. He was friendly and responsive in every interaction.

Super location and access to all of South Lake Tahoe!

Very charming little home. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Great restaurants and public beaches within walking distance. Good place to go year round! Very attentive host/owner.
