Had a great stay at this 2 bed property in the Quinta do Paraiso area. The place was clean, welcome on arrival friendly and good communication when we had questions. Great to have access to the communal pool area too. Thanks for a lovely trip.

We stayed here as a family of 5. The property was very well equipped and with some good attention to detail such as foil and Tupperware for picnics. It’s in a great location for pool and access to the little shop - although it is up a little hill. The pool is lovely and quiet with plenty of sun loungers and a relaxed atmosphere. A great Sangria is served at the bar. You can walk down to the village in about 15 minutes again it’s down hill there are loads of great restaurants.

We’ve had a lovely stay at Casa Iona. The house is well equipped and comfortable with comfortable beds too! A short walk to the pool and complex amenities.

Great short stay in October

Overall very good location on a resort that has access to swimming, table tennis and Tennis. The villa was well equipped and the management team were good given the times we arrived in and checked out.

Villa in carvoeiro

Nice property in a great location close to restaurants. Owners lovely and the welcome pack of milk, bread eggs etc was a nice touch especially if arriving late after the shop has closed. Supermarket on site very reasonable and can highly reccomend the Italian restaurant on site

Casa Iona

Lovely property , quiet location a bit of a walk into town, but very manageable if you are able bodied, rather a steep hill to get back to the villa, bur we knew that before we arrived. Spar shop only a few hundred meters away, and a realt good Portuguese restaurant within 3 minutes walk. Would definitely book again.

Feels like home

we had a lovely stay at Iona house. It is well equipped. Here and there needs some renovating, like kitchen and bathroom, but still everything works fine. It is well situated in park paraiso, near swimmingpools and restaurants.

Tidy and neat

The property was clean, tidy and had everything for a rental. Needs refurbishing throughout. But out of town so no good for older people who wish to walk to the village and around the area.

Fantastic Villa

We enjoyed an excellent 9 night stay at this villa. We had a lovely welcome from David who showed us around the villa and recommended a local festival in Lagoa which was well worth the visit! We particularly liked the spacious rooms, excellent facilities, much needed air conditioning and welcome pack of food items. The resort was lovely - clean, warm pools, friendly staff, nice and quiet with plenty of sunbeds. The town of Carvoeiro was near enough for us to walk to, with lots of restaurants and evening entertainment. Can't wait to return one day!

our hols in the algarve

We had a great holiday in the algarve in July'07. i travelled with my husband, son (16yrs) and daughter(11yrs). We were all very surprised at the quality of the accomadation, it was beautiful. The villa was very spacious, clean and fully equipped. The country club itself was also very clean and pretty. The entertainment on site was poor but we found the village had lots on in the evening. I would certainly recommend this villa and would like to go back again sometime in the future

Fantastic family holiday house

We had a wonderful time in Stefanie’s house. It was very a quaint, traditional style house with great air con (we needed it!) 2 comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, and fab big comfy sofa in the living area. Outdoor space was adequate too. A very generous welcome pack was much appreciated as we arrived late and it was a lovely touch. A couple of minutes walk to a reasonably priced convenience store and a little further to the swimming pool and snack bar. We used Uber / Bolt a lot while we were there as it was a very steep walk back up from the town, but the fares were only €4/5 per journey. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for families and we would be happy to return.

Lovely little house in quiet residential complex. Excellent location.

We have had a lovely 10 days at Casa Iona. The house is lovely, comfy beds and everything you need. The location was ideal for us as it is on a quiet complex with access to a couple of nice pools and restaurants. The walk into Carvoeiro takes 15-20 mins but is a pleasant walk. Carvoeiro is v busy at this time of the year so we were happy to go and eat then leave the hustle and bustle. There are some amazing scenic beaches in the area but all v busy due to the time of year. We still got sunbeds or a place to set up camp but it is v busy. Our teenagers loved cliff jumping at Praia de Carvalho but again very busy and the sea is FREEZING! Regarding the house we would just recommend some new garden furniture as the table is too wobbly to eat at and the chairs are uncomfortable. I think you need a new toilet seat too. All round a great place to stay and we all had a fab holiday x nice safe location and suits families with little children and older teenagers alike.

Winter break

Property very tired.(Refurbished???) Had obviously not been lived in for some time and was very cold and damp. We had to have a big fire going every night.As it was winter we were in most nights but TV had no UK channels. David kindly arranged for us to get them but of course we had to pay for that. The first night we were there when I pulled back the bed cover I found a hole in the bottom sheet. One of the bath towels was very frayed. On the plus side David was very helpful with any small issues we had and immediately got them sorted out. The welcome pack was very generous and we were grateful for it as we arrived late at night

We can have periods with high humidity in the algarve during winter time , so it is essential to heat the properties either by aircon and/or fireplace , both of which were available for your use. Ok

Bei der Ankunft war es kalt und das Häuschen klamm. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gab ein paar Einkäufe im Kühlschrank, so dass man nicht sofort einkaufen musste. Insgesamt machte das Objekt einen etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Eindruck.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin und dem Verwalter vor Ort war angenehm. Negativ an der Wohnung waren ein nicht funktionierender Abfluss in der Dusche und ein unzuverlässiges Schloss an der Eingangstür. Leider im in der gesamten Woche niemand zum Reinigen oder für frische Handtücher vorbei. Die Wohnung liegt gut für alle möglichen Ausflüge und Erkundungen.

Lovely cosy house in a quiet location. The property was very clean and had everything we needed, we felt very much at home. Zeker aan te bevelen

Het was precies zoals verwacht, voor ons de 2e keer op dit park. Nu gehuurd via een particuliere eigenaar. Enige nadeel hieraan is dat je moet betalen voor activiteiten op het park en de pendelbus. Met 2 kinderen van 9 en 11 was het prima terug lopen vanaf het dorp in de avond. Maar een taxi regelen was ook zo gebeurd bij de receptie, en heel goed betaalbaar. Het huisje is schoon, prima van formaat. Keuken en badkamer wat gedateerd maar we kwamen ook niet om te koken. :-) Met een huurauto is er in de omgeving veel te zien en doen. Het dorp zelf heeft een heel groot aanbod aan restaurants. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep ook prima, het wifi probleem was binnen een dag opgelost. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.
