We have owned this property for over 25 years, we lived here for 2 years with our young sons and then were transferred back east. The upper unit was an annual rental for 12 years and got a gorgeous face lift in 2015, lower 1/1 got a new look in 2023-both got AC and upgraded electrical in 2026. Enjoy all the fab upgrades like glass subway tile, appliances, flooring and fixtures. We live in Northern California and come frequently with our now older boys to surf and bike and breathe. Manhattan Beach is a wonderful hidden gem in Los Angeles-that is close to everything but feels worlds away. We absolutely LOVE the area and will be permanent residents again one day.

This location is more of a locals feel. El Porto is sand section living away from the touristy part of Manhattan Beach. Wonderful walkable eateries such as the Local Yolk, El Tarasco, North End and Two Guns Coffee where you won't have to wait for a table. Hair cuts and nail shops near by, bakeries and coffee shops, rent a board at Players/El Porto Boards across the street and hit the surf on one of the states best surfing spots, 2 car garage makes usually tough parking a breeze, walk or bike the mile to the pier and triple the number of restaurant and shopping choices. Hit Fish Bar or OBs in the afternoon for fish tacos or to catch the game. Our home is comfortable and updated, with nice bedding, baths, laundry area, you are minutes from everything or you can sit on the deck and catch the sunset. 10 min cab ride from LAX $10-25 Uber depending on time of day.

2 car garage is nice in the beach areas, bike all along the strand up to Marina del Rey and down to Hermosa. Quiet and local-Once you come, you will want to come again. 2 bathrooms is also a treat in a neighborhood where thats uncommon. Watch the dolphins as you make a meal. Sit in the window seat and let the stress melt away as you gaze at the blue water. Quartz counters and all new inside is clean, beachy and relaxing. If you are 2 couples, or a family with older kids-this is your spot...does not appeal to younger children as much since there are stairs and the hill down to the beach is quite steep..and is not pet friendly for similar reasons.
