We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again. The property was clean and had all the requirements we needed for our stay. I could have used some larger coffee mugs but other than that, not a single complaint. We stayed with another couple so just know that whoever stays downstairs, needs to be awake before anyone else if they need the kitchen. This is a shotgun house, so you have to walk through bedrooms to get to the kitchen, but we made it work and had an amazing time. Quiet neighborhood, close to Canal Street trolley stop and also super easy for an Uber to pick you up.

Very clean property that exceeded my expectations and the check-in process was easy. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I’ll recommend this location everything was within walking distance to the nearest events. I’ll give this house a 10/10 and will definitely rebook in the future..

Birthday in the Nola

It was a great place , super spacious and clean. Only issue is the door lock pad a little confusing but the owner called maintenance to come help and we were in within minutes. Will definitely book again

Super friendly host

We came into town for my brothers bachelors party and this house was perfect. We were out on the town most of the time so the property was exactly what we were looking for. The host is super friendly and stayed in contact with us the whole time. The response time to any message was immediate, I would recommend for sure.

The house was cold so don’t go in the winter the electric is tricky the floor sockets go out. It’s a bad neighborhood. The septic system is not good the toilet on the bottom level gets clog and if you plunge it it goes to the tub and won’t drain the sheets was dirty had lip stick stands and the blankets smell so the stay was ok because we made it work the charged me for their septic system so watch getting this house

We’re sorry this guest felt dissatisfied. During this stay, temperatures were unusually cold (~20°F). The home has functioning central heat and supplemental heaters, and we assisted with thermostat and breaker questions during the visit. A post-stay plumbing inspection identified and resolved a blockage in the main line. No charges were made to this guest, and the security deposit was released early. We remain committed to maintaining the property and addressing guest concerns promptly, and would have been happy to address any linen issues had they been mentioned during the stay.

Super clean, awesome location

This was an ideal landing space during our New Orleans trip. The property was super clean with great proximity to the trolley line. We had such an easy time navigating the city from here. You will want to keep in mind that this is an older building in the 'shotgun' style architecture, meaning you will be walking through bedroom regularly. This was not an issue for our group.Also, the property manager/maintenance was super responsive when needed.

Super Bowl in the Big Easy

We had family in town from all over for the SB Festivities and Game. Home was big enough to host our large group of 14. We rented both units and had more rhan enough space to hangout, cook and just enjoy each other. The majority of the group were couples, so the rooms being connected were not ideal but we made it work. This would be perfect for a Family or Large Group of Singles.There

Nice location!

Very close to French Quarter. Newly remodeled. Very clean. Free parking on street in front of the house. The house is probably old, so the floor tilted a little bit. And the wall electric circuit was not able to handle the electric heaters. Not a problem for warm days.

it was fine

It was an okay place to stay. it's important to know that this is a shotgun home with the kitchen and bathrooms in back, so if you have to go to the bathroom or are awake before anyone else, you have to walk through all of the rooms on that floor past others who may still be sleeping to get to the back. not the biggest deal, but something that you should probably know before booking. I will say that the shower curtains had mold and there were cockroaches in the living room when we first got in. The single bed and trundle pull-out were super uncomfortable and could barely could sleep on them, so i wouldn't consider those as available beds when booking a stay here. Other than that, yes, it was in a sketchy area (coming from someone who's very comfortable in urban environments) but it was fine. we kept the doors locked and had no issues. Nothing is really walkable from this place so we ubered everywhere. we had a great time in the city but would stay elsewhere next time. we did like that it was a spacious, historic home with the type of charm that only older homes have.

Good Stay, Served It's Purpose- 1 mile from FQ and Superdome

Me and 3 lifelong friends were in town to watch a football game. I'd rate this a 4 out of 5 experience. Pros. 1. Smooth Check In Process- Keyless entry. 2. Proximity- close to French Quarter and Superdome...only about 1 mile away. 3. 2 blocks away from Galvez streetcar station on Canal Street 4. Nice backyard patio area. 5. Roku Smart TVs in most rooms. 6. Responsive communication from host. Cons: 1. Duplex. There is a rented property next door. Tennants would leave their trash or beer bottles on backyard patio tables. 2. Extremely thin walls- could regularly hear the neighbors- nothing out of line or annoying- we lucked out with that. 3. Layout of the home- This is a renovated 2 story shotgun house. Kitchen and first floor bathroom are in the very back of the home. Bedrooms are not properly aligned as a result. 4. Unclean plates in the cabinet with gunk on them. 5. Tiny (harmless) lizard in the upstairs bathroom. 6. Toilet flushing power needs adjustment. 7. EMPTY Shower body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. 8. No detergent for washing machine. 9. Soundbar for tv doesn't work. 10. $500 Deposit Despite these cons, this property served its original purpose for our 3 night stay. We were only there to rest and recover.

Fixer-upper

This property has great potential but needs some major TLC. The experience started great! Issac accommodated our early arrival and let us check-in early. The neighborhood is slightly more depressed than “mixed-income,” and the house is located across the street from what appears to be desolate auto junk yards. When we entered the home, it smelled of old, mildewed furniture. It would have made a world of difference to be greeted with some clean, nice scents. This prompted us to do a walk-through and after, we wished we could have left and stayed some place else. The doors were not flush to the floor leaving a huge gap between the bottoms of the doors and the floor. We literally watched insects enter the home through the front door and side door. Speaking of insects, there was a live cockroach measuring about 5 inches long scurrying about inside the cabinets in the kitchen. There were exposed holes in the floors. The bedding/linens, towels, and furniture throughout the house was all mixed-match giving the home a very “pieced together” vibe, not vacation. It looked like a garage sale property. I recommend some uniformity here. The linens and towels should have some uniformity, and to be thoroughly cleaned with bleach and saturated detergents. For example, a bed had a brown fitted sheet, blue flat sheet, one white pillowcase, one yellow pillowcase, and a black comforter. They were so bad, we Shipt ordered bed linens, throw blankets, and towels because those present were far below standard and we were afraid to use them. Another downside is the lack of air conditioning! The living room, kitchen and downstairs bathroom were extremely hot! It made it uncomfortable. There also was not paper towel available and one roll of toilet paper. We ordered that and had it sent to the house as well. Very disappointed for the price.

Great location and comfy

This is an easy 9 minute walk to French Quarter and all the fun. Yet, it's far enough away to provide a quiet evening. Beds are very comfortable. Isaac and staff are very fast at responding.

Great place for close family

This was a great place and location. We attended a wedding and all the venues for the weekend celebrations were easily reachable. This duplex is roomy, exceptionally clean and left us wanting or needing nothing except for water pressure in the downstairs bathroom sink. We will definitely keep this as our go to choice of lodging when visiting New Orleans. Property owners are very easy to deal with and very accommodating Thank you and God Bless.
