View of Saratoga passage, Oak Harbor, Penn Cove. 4 blocks from public beach access. No Ferry Ride- Just cross a short bridge. 1 hour from Seattle in a beach community that will make you love it. The best sunsets around. A bath and 3/4, our 2 bedroom weekend getaway (Now with WIFI) is available. Now with 2 queen beds. Max 4 people please. Large one car garage. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, stove, toaster oven and microwave. A non-smoking house. We have added a 24" HD TV now with internet (Samsung TV plus) + DVD player. Shoes ok if clean but we usually wear slippers. We don't have garbage service so if possible please remove kitchen garbage. Leave the recyclables. NO CLEANING FEE! We are only looking for bookings A MAXIMUM OF 2 WEEKS IN LENGTH between April and October. (Crab season happening July and August) 4-6 week bookings ok during fall & winter. We now have a cornhole game for the yard and a volleyball net on site. We are only a few minutes away from Canopy Tours NW Zip Line. I just went on it and it's a blast.

The communication could not have been better.Home was super clean.Kitchen had everything you could need.About 4 block walk down the street and one block to the right to gain access to a public pathway to the beach.There is one bedroom with bathroom en-suite and one bedroom that utilizes the bathroom in center of living room. Both were very clean and well supplied!Love seat and two comfortable chairs in living room as pictured.Having Washer and dryer in garage was super!Wish the weather would have allowed us to use the back porch because it had several chairs and the view to the Northwest was beautiful. Large windows allowed us to enjoy the scenery from inside. Lots of birds/hummingbirds to watch.Very relaxing with quiet friendly large neighborhood.Highly recommend.

We arrived after our 3:30pm check in time and were surprised to find the owner there. He said he thought our check in was the following day. Keep in mind this reservation was made in September of 2025. He looked on line and of course verified our reservation was 7/31-8/02/26. He gathered his things and left the property. It was very weird and uncomfortable to be unexpectedly greeted by someone at a property you have rented. Due to this we felt a little unnerved so we proceeded to check all locks (doors & windows). Much to our surprise most of the windows didn’t lock. This is a 1 story property easily accessible through an unlocked window. We had no choice but to stay due to a family wedding the following day. Unfortunately Camano Island didn’t have many if any options to relocate with such short notice and we live approximately 3 hours away. We would not stay here again or advise this property to anyone else. Extremely disappointed!!

The calendar confusion was of course on me. (first time in 11 years of doing this) However the house was clean for you and the windows do have locking mechanisms but have to be shut fairly hard to engage the lock. Sorry about that.

Location, neighborhood, and view were great. Easy walk to the water. Home was clean and inviting although it does get quite warm in the summer given the direct morning and afternoon sunlight.

Camano Island getaway

Clean easy to access and very plesant there were just 2 of us and there was plenty of room Very quiet area and the veiw was great. Would stay there again.

Relaxing and Beautiful

I need a weekend away, where I could just eat food read a book and stare at the water, and this was the perfect place to do that!

4th of July Crabbing Trip

Great stay! The location was good, and parking was surprisingly ample even with the truck, boat and car! Alan was very responsive and wonderful. Am looking forward to our next trip!

The home was beautiful and was well stocked, and had everything you could need. The furniture is dated and a bit unfomfortable for larger adults. For younger families probably fine. But the view is amazing.

Beautiful days

The house was clean, cozy, and peaceful. The yard was well maintained. Watching the sunset in the deck was delightful! From the well stocked kitchen to the little signs telling you what’s what and the chilled glasses in the freezer, we felt welcome!

Nice Quiet Place

I came in from out of town for a family reunion that was at the Camano State Park campground. The neighborhood was a nice, quiet place to come back to after full days with my family.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The living area is nice and open, with a beautiful view of the water. The deck was wondering for having lunch and early supper in the sun. Thank you!

Seattle native who started spending summers on Camano island back in the 50s when the family rented a place right near this one. Never got it out of my system and had to finally build this place in 2014 enlisting the services of a great local builder with 30 years of experience. It was all about the view and the surroundings. My wife, from Japan has embraced my passion for this place as well.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

It is within a stone's throw of the property my family used to rent every summer when I was a kid. Lots of nostalgia & natural beauty. Hummingbirds, swallows, eagles, wild rabbits and deer are a few of the reasons to like this place. A great view of amazing sunsets is perhaps the greatest thing about it. We are less than 10 minutes away from Cama beach state park where they have the center for wooden boats and boat rentals. Also just beyond that is the other Camano island State park with a boat launch and camping.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Faces West, afternoon/evening sun & sunsets. This view helps us detox and relax. It's a great quiet neighborhood for walking and bicycle riding. The back yard is big enough for kids to play in safely and the back deck is a good place for adults to supervise from.
Often the only real soundtrack is birds that come to our neighbors assortment of feeders. We always have hummingbird feeders out but there are so many more types to see and hear.
