This apartment was an excellent choice for me when I visited Whidbey Island Oak Harbor area. It’s cozy and the host has thought of every detail one might need when staying here. Rachel is an effective communicator and explained all the nuances of the place. I would stay here again if I’m ever on Whidbey Island.Everything was clean, the bathroom was spacious and the shower was the star of the place.

Rachel was incredibly accommodating and had the most incredible space. It was quiet, and the snack bar was a great addition for after our long drive. It was very clean, and the trees were perfect. Thank you.

The hostess was very peompt in communication, the amenities were plentiful and in good condition. We are looking at relocating to the area and will definitely recommend to family

3 stars The stay did not meet our expectations. Jet noise from the nearby Navy station continued into the evening and began again around 8 a.m., making it difficult to enjoy a quiet getaway. Rachel was responsive, gracious, and professional. She immediately offered a full refund and took responsibility for addressing the cleaning concerns with her housekeeper. We appreciated her fairness and efforts to make things right.

Lovely place. Rachel is super attentive and has added lots of small touches that make it a great stay. The room includes a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, and small portable oven. For couples travelling with babies/ toddlers the room comes with a large walk in wardrobe / adjacent room which easily fits a crib and means you can close the door and not worry about waking your child. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Tranquility is the name of the place and that is what you get. We were here to visit our grandson his wife and daughter (our great granddaughter) and getting used to the time difference we truly loved the peace and quiet. Rachel and Mike have provided everything you need.

This was an amazing stay! Host responded immediately to inquires we had about the area. House, property and hot tub were all clean and very well maintained. We arrived to find a thoughtfully put together mini bar full of snacks we almost indulged in. Very quite neighborhood, we didn't hear any neighbors and only a few cars on the private road, but there was a deer, bunnies, and an owl in the yard that night. The view of the nightsky is amazing from the hot tub and we were able to see the milky way. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy

All the amenities as a hotel and then some. The family did stay quiet throughout our stay. They shared with us that they make a point to staying quiet. Great job!The hot tub was clean. There were extra towels. They are kind.The property is beautiful. I was able to relax with a hot cup of tea while watching the sun go down. The room has a walk in closet. They provide hangers. The shower has face wash to hair conditioner. King size bed. Huge! With lots of pillows. There are movies and card games. You can use a grill, microwave, toaster oven. Nice place to feel right at home after a day of exploring the island. It felt like home since there was a garden, pond, acres, trees, the sound of frogs, and more. Before your time to stay, you will be sent clear directions. Very helpful!

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing night here. Rachel was so communicative, warm and honest and this was so refreshing. The room was wonderful. Comfy large bed, wonderful view and a beautiful patio to eat and hang out! Visited by deer in the morning as we ate, a very friendly, sweet cat Georgie said hello. Felt rural, but not far from all the things we wanted to do. The room is stocked with all you need for a mini-kitchenette which reflects their travel experiences. We wish we could've stayed another night.

I am a Washington transplant from Texas who fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. My husband served in the Navy, and beautiful Whidbey Island is where we call home. We have four boys and one daughter, ranging from 20 to 2. We are always busy, but love welcoming travelers near and far to share our space. We have hosted events for almost 3 years now and have enjoyed, even if only for the evening, creating a space that people want to return to year after year.

We live on a secluded 10-acre property, with layers and depth that we love. The neighborhood is primarily comprised of retired couples who are very quiet and friendly. Our space provided ample room to bring my parents from Texas, who have now built a cute little "sunshine" cottage and an extensive garden and orchard.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Tranquility Place truly is tranquil. The outside spaces are tastefully landscaped and stay true to the natural flow of the land—the inside space - the BED and SHOWER. I took time to ensure that the mattress was of quality. Many previous guests have asked what type of bed it is, which is something I have never said when staying at other places. I have also taken time to make sure we have good linens. From the sheets, blankets, and towels, everything is quality. The master shower is beautiful and truly the showstopper. You have to experience it for yourself.
