Completely renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo at "The Shores". Located on 600 feet of East Bay Frontage. Scenic wooded setting that backs to Acme Creek. Boat rental on site. There are 3 championship golf courses within 1/2 mile at the Grand Traverse Resort as well as wonderful restaurants and shopping. Gorgeous Sunsets at the beach!

The condo is conveniently equipped with a kitchenette that includes granite counter tops, new cabinetry, refrigerator, microwave, stove top and dishwasher. Sleeps 4 comfortably with new queen bed and queen sized sofa sleeper. 2 Flat screen TV's. HD Cable and WIFI included with 46 inch TV in living room and 32 inch in bedroom. Relax on the deck overlooking scenic woods and wildlife, Nature Trail on property.

Traverse City offers incredible shopping, trails, biking, world class restaurants, several dozen wineries and tons of family activities. Tour Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas as well as Elk Rapids. An amazing place to vacation for your Northern Michigan experience.

Great location

The condo was clean and in a convenient area to Traverse City. The community pool and snack bar were closed this time of year so looking forward to returning in the summer to take advantage of that perk.

Honeymoon Suite

My husband and I stayed here for a few days as part of our honeymoon road trip, and we absolutely loved it! The little suite was very clean and homey, the water access was just a quick walk down the road, and it was just close enough to TC to feel like we were right there! We will definitely plan on staying here again!

Great Condo

This property was great - just as advertised. It was clean, well stocked with nice towels, cookware, hand soap and other details. It’s located on the edge of the Traverse City area right by the Grand Traverse Resort. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo!

We loved our stay! This condo was beautifully decorated and every comfortable! We loved going down to the beach and playing in the sand and water. Owners were very nice, responsive and accommodating! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Location!

We wanted somewhere close to the beach without paying a hefty price. This condo was perfect for our family of 4! The beach was literally a couple minute walk within the property, and you are also close driving distance to all of the amenities downtown. Would stay where again!

Clean. Comfortable. Gorgeous.

This wonderful condo is situated in a prime location, just off the beach. It offers privacy, with access to the waterfront, and is close to all the local hot spots. Penny was wonderful to deal with. Smooth and easy.

Well appointed condo right outside Traverse City.

Cute property tucked away within a short walk from the water. All the amenities available. Perfect for a small family. Water sports rentals available onsite. Short drive to Front Street. Enjoyed the close proximity to the wineries on the Peninsula, (Boat House restaurant was amazing) Sutton's Bay and Northport.

Just the right size

Our stay in this condo was perfect for my wife and I. I had a conference at the Grand Traverse Resort a mere 5 minutes away. I enjoyed having our own space, not a hotel room. All the amenities- refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, dishes, real silverware, made it feel very comfortable. Having a bedroom, a nice open area for kitchen, dining, and living room, door wall opening to a nice deck was definitely a positive. The Condo was very clean and decorated very thoughtfully. I could tell the host really thought about details in every aspect of the place. I highly recommend this condo for anyone wanting a nice, quiet, peaceful place to relax.

Clean and well decorated condo. Penny was very helpful. VRBO wasn't helpful with signing the lease agreement document. Something is wrong with VRBO and my iMac computer unable to communicate. Please fix the problem.

A perfect couple’s getaway!

My husband and I just stayed at Penny’s beautiful condo for a perfect 4-night getaway! We were so sad to leave. The condo has everything we needed. Kitchen is small but well-equipped for simple meals, the bed was super comfy (and we are picky about beds!), and the location was amazing. The balcony has a beautiful view of the woods/creek and the condo is just a few minutes walk to a nice beach with incredible sunset views. We also loved that you can rent a jet ski, boat, etc. directly from the beach! It was all so convenient. The condo is also just a short and very beautiful drive away from Traverse City where there is TONS to do! If you’re looking for a easy, beautifully designed, and restful vacation spot for a couple or small group, I’d highly recommend Penny’s place! Thank you for being such a great host, Penny!

Warning: Untrustworthy property manager

Penny canceled our reservation the night before our arrival. Our reservation was confirmed and she took full payment 8 months in advance. Then at the last minute (the night before we were arriving) she suddenly stated we didn’t turn in a signed contract, which we had never heard of before. Regardless, we found said contract, signed it and emailed it to her. She canceled our reservation anyway. As soon as we found out we frantically called her but she refused to answer our calls. It was a holiday weekend and everything was either sold out or extremely expensive. Then we found out she rented out the condo to someone else at a much higher rate due to the holiday weekend. She has been reported to VRBO for unethical business practices. Do not stay at her property; she is unrealiable, unethical and untrustworthy.
