Beachfront Condo-Resort Pool-Short Walk 2 Beach

Edgewater 1200 offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and some of the best views in Destin. The owners have done an incredible job of furnishing and decorating this vacation rental condo, not to mention the updates in the kitchen and bath. This condo features fresh paint, a new range, tile flooring throughout, and amazing new patio doors that lead out to the balcony from the Master Bedroom and Living Room. Relax on the spacious terrace and enjoy the most amazing panoramic water views.


The Master bedroom offers a king-sized bed and a master bath. The Guest bedroom features two double beds and an adjoining bath as well. In the living room, you'll find a queen sleeper sofa, so this lovely condo can easily accommodate up to 6 guests. With flat screen TVs in each room, dining at the counter top and at the table, and all the necessary kitchen amenities, you can enjoy the comfort of home in the luxury of your beach retreat.

Additional beach toys such as Stand Up Get Up Paddle Boards and Ocean Kayaks are also available for additional fees.

Edgewater Beach Resort is a gated community and offers several luxury amenities, including two Gulf front pools (one seasonally heated) spread out across multiple levels, a spacious sundeck, the poolside Tiki Hut Bar and Grill, a hot tub, kiddie pool, full exercise room, propane barbecue grills, picnic area, playground, sports courts, a putting area, a private beach, high-speed internet, and a large 2-level parking garage, lower level 6' clearance, upper level 5'8" clearance. Oversized vehicle outdoor parking all along the rear and sides of the building.

*Please Note: The HOA does not allow golf cart rentals to be parked on the property.

*Please note peak seasons may require 6-7 night stays; otherwise, a 3-night minimum year-round.

Excellent stay! A short easy walk to the beach. The only thing we wish we knew beforehand was that, while you can use your own chairs at the beach, you can’t use your own umbrella. You can rent an umbrella and two chairs from the property for 70.

Room was clean with nice new appliances, and a great view of the beach. Hotel is close to all major points of interest and restaurants and about 20-30 minutes to downtown Destination, traffic dependent. Two chairs are provided in the room or Expect to pay daily for chairs by either half or full day if you would like the hotel to set up with an umbrella. (37 half-70/ full day) Hotel beach was pristine and family friendly. This was our first trip down to Miramar beach, and it will for sure not be our last!

If you rent this property, be aware that the listing is not accurate with regard to included beach amenities. The listing states that beach chairs and umbrellas are included but they are not. If the rental company is contacted, they will try to advise that the amenities were not to be included. You will have to make a copy of the listing to prove to them that it was.

Wonderful location with a gorgeous view and easy access to the private beach. I took my daughters and one friend for a girl’s getaway to celebrate my oldest daughter’s 13th birthday. The unit was clean and nicely updated. We only had one issue: the listing was inaccurate and the chairs and umbrellas were not complimentary - we had to pay for rentals. The host came and provided some beach chairs once I notified them, which was very considerate. We had a lovely visit and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and walkability to shopping and restaurants. Would absolutely come back!

Bennett Twins Graduation Gift Trip

Everything was as described! Love this resort. It’s our 2nd time staying here. The condo was great and accommodated everything our family needed. Super clean, nice ocean views and close to restaurants and shopping!

The property was located on a private beach, so we did not have tents and loud music to obstruct the view of the sound of the waves. It was so relaxing. Great location to shopping and we could walk down the beach to the Surf Hut for a seafood dinner.

Great family vacation

Loved the location! So close to the beach that if you leave the door open sand will blow in the condo. Great place to take your family. Very comfortable beds. Loved the pool side snack shop and grill. Would highly recommend for any who loves to relax at the beach.

Everything about the room was perfect. The view was fantastic, the weather was great, we had a blast. We plan on renting again for next year's vacation. Glass Casa made the process very smooth and fun

Nice condo and location

Overall I would recommended this property. Good location with grocery stores, restaurants and shopping nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were a nice perk. The cable and internet service are the only things needing improvement.

Excellent!

We so enjoyed our first trip to Florida and staying at the Majestic sun! The unit was clean and we had a most everything we needed. Whatever we didn’t have, we could just take a quick drive to the market. It was close to everything including the gorgeous beach it was on. I would recommend staying here.

Great Trip!

I took my daughter and some friends for a much needed girls trip. The rooms were just as pictured on the listing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only thing we disliked was the ice-maker took forever to make ice. Minor issue. The rest of the stay was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

The guest room closest to the hall way is a double room which is great for kids but you can hear the people passing by at all hours. Everything else was perfect as far as amenities. Beach hut was open maybe 50% of the time. Staff was very helpful. Location was perfect. Unit does need some cosmetic updates but all in all 8/10

Baby's First Beach Vacay

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities. So this made cooking family meals in the condo so easy. Make sure you bring salt, pepper, sugar, and any other spices you cook with. The pools and the baby pool was perfect for the baby. We were so thankful for the 2 complimentary beach chairs. This greatly lightened our load of stuff to carry to the beach. And, most importantly, the view from the room was amazing.

Wasn’t the beach experience I was wanting; instead of listening to soothing waves against the water, I looked at constant traffic and listened to conversations at the pool; wouldn’t go there again
