Located on a very secluded 15 acre property on the Severn River, directly across from the historic Inn at Warner Hall. Close to the Historic Triangle, (Yorktown, Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg), the amusement parks, (Busch Gardens and Water Country), and the Chesapeake Bay. Located on the quiet Severn River, you can kayak, canoe, hike, cook out, nature watch, fish and sit on the pier and enjoy the breathtaking sunrises. Jameslin is the perfect retreat if you're seeking solitude, while having quick and easy access to the area's many attractions. Enjoy the cozy fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, relax on the screened in porch, small fire pit
or enjoy the tiki bar area with lighted pond and fountain.

A wonderful waterfront retreat! It was wonderful having the pets along with us. Sam and Mark are incredibly accommodating and generous with their property. We were able use the dock behind the main house to fish, crab and kayak. There’s plenty of beaches to go to nearby, but we were happy to relax on the dock and paddle around. 10/10 vacation, we hope to come back soon!

This was a wonderful vacation! We are a family of four that wanted a last minute getaway before school was back and this did not disappoint. We were able to bring our dog, which was a huge plus. The house is clean and well cared for. We had full access to the docks and tiki bar, so we brought our paddle boards and fishing gear. There are a ton of beautiful areas to explore on the paddle board and we got a few bits by the fish. This location was close to Busch Gardens, so we were also able to go to the park a few days. All in all we had a wonderful time!

This home is tucked away, far away from the noises and commotion of a city. Beautiful, tree-lined drive to the home and a peaceful place overall. This home has comfortable accommodations with two very comfortable beds, plenty of towels and a lovely main, living room area. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, plus full- sized washer and dryer to keep things clean. Things to consider to enjoy your stay even more: 1. Bring bug spray as you are in a tree- lined area along the water (plus a small pond nearby) 2. There does not seem to be a full-house dehumidifier. Make sure you empty the portable dehumidifier when it gets full or the whole house will feel damp. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would come back if in the area again.

We had a such a nice stay at Jameslin Cottage! Communication was amazing, check in was easy. The cottage is so cozy and loved the other amenities offered with that stay, such as the tiki hut/screened in porch, pond and water front views. Would love to return as we used it as a half way point yo stop on our way from Baltimore to Outer Banks, and went to Busch Gardens for the day while there. Highly recommend!

What a fun place to stay for our 3 boys! We were in the area for a baseball tournament and instead of doing the hotel thing, we stayed at this delightful, waterfront cabin which had everything we needed, plus accommodating, friendly, helpful, communicative hosts!! We had access to the water, brought fishing poles, and had a ball. The pond is stocked, the tiki bar is adorable, and the fish are biting! In addition, if you are a bird-watcher, there were 14 different varieties of birds detected on my Merlin app! The only downside had nothing to do with the property, but the Colonial Parkway was completed closed for construction, which made our commute over to Williamsburg twice as long. Book with confidence, this is a slam dunk!

We would stay here again! The hosts were very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. The area felt safe and remote - yet was only 15 minutes away from grocery stores, walmart, resteraunts, etc. The water here was calm and fairly shallow. They even have a pond/large deck/bar area that you can use. The beds and couches were comfortable and soft. They had plenty of towels for our family of 6 there and available! They also had things to cook with, silverware, cups, plates, bowls, etc., so we were able to make meals at the house with ease! We did not realize the hosts home was also on the same property and the dock is behind their house, but they were kind and we were able to use everything on the property without feeling like we were at all in the way - more just like having neighbors. Thank you for everything and for letting us stay!

Peaceful location, courteous host, beautiful scenery. The location puts you far enough away from tourist areas to where you don't have to feel like traffic is an issue but close enough to get to anything within minutes
