Just a fantastic place. The space was wonderful, I had room to park my boat, and the living room / kitchen space was great for our family. Plus, morning coffee on the patio was so peaceful. We had family staying in several places and our place, by far, was the best. Thank you! It was an amazing experience.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, it’s close enough to town to easily take advantage of the local shops and restaurants, yet it feels tucked away and private.The house was clean, neat, and exactly as described. We appreciated that the heater was running when we arrived, as it was cold out. The heater kept the place warm. We were impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was with supplies, and we had everything we needed to cook meals. When we weren't out exploring, the great selection of puzzles and games kept us busy and entertained.

The property is fantastic. Surrounded by woods, the home is private, well appointed, clean and ideally situated.The home is gorgeous and has plenty of space for a family and guests.Communication with the owner was super fast and easy. Highly recommend this VRBO in McCloud!

Fun summer family vacation

Our family so enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family of four and our two dogs. Our kids loved the hammock and the treehouse. The location of the house gives lots of privacy and we enjoyed quiet walks as a family. It is also close to many fun things to do. We loved the McCloud waterfall hike, swimming at Lake Siskiyou, the candy store downtown, Burney Falls and swimming at the lake there. It was the perfect place for summer fun for our family.

Great getaway

Served as a great base for outdoor adventures. Centrally located and only minutes to waterfalls, fishing, and shopping. We enjoyed hiking in the woods and there were plenty of woods around.

Great House for Shasta Ski Trip

Our family had a wonderful weekend in this house. The bedrooms fit our family's needs and everything was just easy and do-able. It was comfortable and casual with extra bedding and towels, a washer/dryer, and everything else you'd need for a winter weekend away. We were close enough to Mt. Shasta for easy drives to and from skiing. We'd love to stay here again.

Very nice place, good location to spend some quiet time. Comfortable amenities, and close to everything we needed to have a wonderful time at Burning Tango 2023.

This was a very clean and comfortable house. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms had spacious showers, but the toilets were to short for my arthritic knees and hip. We were able to cook all our meals as the kitchen was well supplied with cook ware. It was very private. I loved how quiet it was. We didn't see any neighbors from the house. The only sounds were the trees rustling and the birds singing. We drove all over the area enjoining the fall foliage. Definitely want to stay again.

Lovely getaway

We had a terrific stay. The house is wonderfully comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and beds are nice. My son spent a lot of time biking around the property on his mountain bike, and had a lot of fun. The town of McCloud is postcard perfect also, really great.

Perfect location to experience Mt. Shasta

This property is perfectly located to access the Mt. Shasta Ski Park and its adjacent cross-country Nordic Skiing Center. You can get there within 15 minutes. Waterfalls, lakes, and hikes are also easily accessible. It is all about location. We look forward to also visit in the summer.

Excellent experience

The house is in a great location, set slightly back off the road. The house was exceptionally clean upon our arrival, communication with the host was always timely and easy. Checkout processes were clear and concise, if we're back in the area we won't hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful place surrounded by trees

Great house in the quiet location yet close to the McCloud center. The kitchen is new with all the things you may need. The beds are comfy. The surrounding pines are majestic! We would love to go back!

Our family lives in the San Francisco Bay Area in Belmont, CA. Our kids learned to ski at the Mt. Shasta Ski Park. They especially enjoy the little shops in "downtown" McCloud including the White Mountain Cafe and the Candy Store in the Mercantile building.
