Each villa is a themed adventure. Are you a pirate at heart? Into Egyptian history? Like medieval times? Or just want to Hakuna Matata? Come stay and have fun at one of our unique vacation rentals. They are perfect for family trips, romantic getaways and mini breaks from the big city's everyday life. Pest are allowed in Hawaiian, Viking and Pirate Villas only with a pet fee of $25/pet/night + tax. Please pay the pet fee via the link in confirmation email after booking if you want to add a pet to your reservation. Pet are NOT allowed in medieval and egyptian villas.
Aloha! Surround yourself with the tropical atmosphere of this villa: exotic flowers, thatch huts, peacocks, parrots and sea life. Get lazy in a papasan chair or soak in the sun on a private balcony. Practice playing "Somewhere over the rainbow" on your own ukulele or cozy up in front of the TV with complimentary Netflix. Kids will appreciate a wide selection of games, books and DVDs that we offer. No better way to spend a beach vacation than in a hawaiian villa.

Thanksgiving Getaway

The kids wanted to go to Hawaii, and this was the next best thing! Great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. This place has super cute decor, theming throughout, a cozy fireplace, and comfy beds. We will be back!

We loved the place, the manager who hand feeds deer to the neighbors large friendly dog it was a nice place to stay.

Cute Property by the Beach

It was close to a lot of stuff we wanted to do in Ocean Shores. Within walking distance to grocery store, beach, bike rentals, kite store, Sharky's ect. The place was nice.

Winter weekend at ocean shores

We have stayed at this property before and we will again! We love the themed villa, as well as the great location. Just about everything we wanted for the weekend is within walking distance. We had a great trip.

Fun, clean, spacious !

The theme of the place was super fun, we loved it! It was really clean and fresh smelling, which can be hard to find in coastal properties. Can't wait to book there again.

Extremely fun Hawaiian theme chalet

Great location for walking the couple blocks to the beach and easy acess to shops and restaurants. Perfectly decorated in a Hawaiian theme. Super clean thruout. All made for a fun nite getaway and definently would return and recommend!

Brought the kids and they had so much fun in the Hawaiian themed room. They thought it was very cool. Place is very family friendly, from the room to even having activities outside for them as well. Area was perfect. Quiet and an easy walk to most things.

Great fun and a great location

Just a couple of block walk to the beach these chalet's are charming and super clean. Our group reserved two units and had a wonderful time. we left an item behind and they located it, and shipped it to us the next day. Our group will be back again.

Very nice and comfy spot

It was well kept and very comfortable. Very kid friendly except for the neighbors they were a little grumpy don't think they liked the fact it was a rental. It was close to the beach and downtown. We will defiantly go back next year.

Cute little property with lots of room

We stayed in the Hawaiian unit and it was just as it looked in the photos and actually had a lot of space. Pet friendly and three beds upstairs. Everything was clean lots of towels and plenty of soap and shampoo. Close to everything and the themes are fun. I would go again

Nice property

The property was very nice and the location was perfect for our needs. The only issue we had was the “third” bedroom. It’s really just a day bed in the hallway at the top of the steps with no privacy. Otherwise everything was as advertised and we would stay here again.

Wonderful vacation!

What a great place! Perfect for our family of 4 and fun to explore. The owners did a great job decorating it with Hawaiian decor: vibrant colors, nice details like real ukulele you can play on and great wall art. The villas are located right in the middle of everything in downtown but at the same time tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac. It was nice and quiet there and in the morning we could hear the sound of the ocean right from our bedroom. The location couldn't be any better: a 10-minute walk to every place in the city including the beach. Adorable place, very friendly neighbors and lifetime memories. Thank you so much, we'll be back next summer!

Loved it!

This little getaway is both charming and very affordable. I stayed here with my best friend as a girls weekend without the family and afterwards we both thought of bringing our families next time! I could see my two small kids LOVING this space and it's all very much kid friendly! The place is pet friendly and super clean! The location is right next to all the shops and restraunts which is just blocks from the beach. And how could I almost forget the deer that walked up to us in the parking lot! Overall it was a lovely stay in a lovely little duplex in a quiet neighborhood. I definitely recommend :)

Cancer party

The stairs are a spiral staircase that is extremely difficult for older/ weaker visitors. 1 bathroom that is at the bottom of the staircase making it difficult to get to in the middle of the night. My pet came home with fleas. Keurig was broken and there blankets smelled like old people and urine

Nice but has some accessibility issues

Recently stayed. Loved the decor and general vibe. Easy to park and quiet neighborhood. Only reason not giving it 5 stars is that the listing doesn't make it clear that all the adult sized beds are on the second floor, accessible only via the spiral staircase. I mistakenly assumed from the pictures one was on the ground floor. This meant the person I was with had to make due with what we could arrange on the first floor, as they could not navigate the stairs.

Wonderful and reasonably priced!

This was a quiet and fun little place. The only thing I think people should know is that one of the bedrooms is completely windowless. This actually may be a plus for people who like pitch dark to sleep in and it shouldn't deter you. Also the spiral stairs might be tricky with young kids. Other than that, however, I loved it here. I had no issues at all. It was clean, decorated in a fun way, and just overall convenient. It was within walking distance of the beach, the restaurants and the convention center. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Ocean Shores Experience

First time renting the Kakuna Matata Villa - We had a great time. The villa is clean with nice bedding/bedrooms. Loved that there was a BBQ. The decorations are fun and comfy. Very near the ocean and town. It was a great location for our needs. Loved it so much I've already put in our reservation for next summer. Tried to cook a pizza in the oven.... didn't seem to heat up enough. Could have been we didn't set the temperature right though..... That was the ONLY small issue. Can't wait for next year. ~~ Aloha Debo

Perfect for Kids!

This little Hawaiian-themed A frame cabin did not disappoint. It was the perfect size for me and my two girls, 9 and 4. There is plenty of hot water, everything was clean, and the kitchen, though tiny enough to make me feel like a giant, is totally functional. My girls loved the colorful decor and the beds were comfy! The best part, however, is the courtyard. All of the kids in the development of cabins congregated there to play on the fun outdoor toys and many friends were made. The on- site employee is friendly and informative. The only thing that the cabin is lacking is lighting. The living area is pretty dark with no overhead lighting. Overall, we loved it and will be back. Also, there's wifi and cable, which was great.
