This cottage was was perfect for my stay in Miami with my little Havashu. I had lots to do, since I moved from my birthplace 7 months ago. It had the perfect location, and it was peaceful, clean, fully equipped, and the host is next door and immediately available and accommodating. I am definitely staying again.

This place felt magical upon arrival. The peacocks everywhere, trees and orchids and ambiance outside was hands down perfection. It felt great to relax and unwind in such a Zen place yet only about 15 min away from the city vibes of Miami. Unfortunately one downside was the lack of privacy.

I’m glad you and your wife enjoyed the tropical setting, peacocks, orchids, and peaceful atmosphere, and that the cottage provided a relaxing place to celebrate your birthday weekend. To help make any future stay even better, I encourage you to review the listing details and house rules before booking so expectations regarding private and shared spaces are clear. While the cottage itself is private, with its own entrance, parking, and exclusive deck, the tiki hut, pergola, and garden areas are shared spaces with the Tiny House guest and my family, as described in the listing. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, smoking of any kind, including marijuana, is prohibited anywhere on the property, and shared spaces should be left clean, with furniture returned to its original location. Because these areas are shared with the Tiny House guest and my family, all activities should remain respectful and appropriate for a family-friendly environment. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and wish you both the very best in your future travels.

A comfortable, well appointed property complete with a full, modern kitchen, bath and beautiful wood floors. The back patio was absolutely gorgeous with tropical plants, artistic decorative touches and beautiful peacocks to watch while the males would strut their stuff. Parking was safe, protected by a locked gate and was well lit. The location was convenient to downtown Coconut Grove and Merrick Park in Coral Gables with great restaurants and great shopping close at hand. You won’t be disappointed.

This was a fantastic experience! Great host and property. Stop scrolling and book this if it is available. This neighborhood and backyard amenities are a great place to relax and enjoy coffee in the mornings and unwind in the evenings. Perfectly located near everything we needed- Coconut Grove, University of Miami, Miracle Mile, Key Biscayne, and Dadeland Mall and restaurants. We can't wait to go back. The artwork and neighborhood peacocks were absolutely beautiful!

The studio was exactly what I wanted in Coconut Grove. Very lush and peaceful. And close enough to where I wanted to be. Almost felt like Costa Rica!

We had a wonderful stay at the Garden Cottage. The room was clean, comfortable and is as described in the listing. Catarina is an excellent host and greeted us warmly on arrival. She recommended great restaurant called the Rusty Pelican which we really enjoyed. It was only a 20 minute drive and had a nice view of the city. Parking was right in front of the door to the cottage and behind a gate. This allowed for quick and easy access which was perfect. I definitely recommend this nice cottage and would not hesitate to stay here again.

This place is definitely a little oasis in a big city. Very safe, quiet neighborhood, with an easy 10 min walk to some great restaurants and sites. I had everything I needed in the space and then some. Cat was very helpful!

Great Property with an Amazing Host

The location and property are fantastic. This is a very comfortable, quiet and secluded place to stay. the neighbourhood is walkable and with many other activities short drive away. Catarina is the best host we have ever experienced. A super Miami experience!!
