Property is located walking distance to Whalers Village. Best to walk as parking at whalers can be hard to find in the evening. Shuttle to Whalers was a great alternative if you don’t mind all the stops at other hotels. If you plan to use the golf cart service to take you down to beach and back, don’t lose track of time as they are strict to the pickup/drop off times. The walk from beach to condo is not bad, but if you have a lot carry don’t lose track of golf cart hours!! Would definitely stay again.

thanks for taking the time to submit a wonderful review! Please note since you're not staying in a high rise hotel - you don't get the crowds waiting for elevators and simply walk out of the unit conveniently. Yes, there's a golf cart that's available to from beach during when the cabana is open. Or you can simply walk to Kaanapali Beach!

Air conditioning was great. Room was very clean and easy check in process. We only stayed 2 nights here but it would have worked perfectly for extended stays as well!

The room and amenities were great. The only issue we had was that our vehicle was too tall for the parking garage. This is because our rental had an extra rack on top so easily avoidable in the future. We loved our stay here.

The resort was beautiful but getting older. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. There were several large piles of sand on the floor, which I quickly vacuumed. The dishes were very dirty in the cupboard. I rewashed everything before using it. Caked on food on the plates . We were returning guests and the staff is wonderful. It is a great place to stay, hopefully they work these issues out.

wonderful studio

Well stocked with dishes, towels etc. and clean. Rental agency is the best! Quick response to any questions. 4th time renting from them.

Loved the location- close enough to walk to Black Rock beach for snorkeling or to Whalers Village for dinner. The property was very quiet which was nice, and having a full kitchen and washer/dryer was a huge plus. Also appreciated that we were able to get a late checkout since our flight didn’t leave until 9pm!

Nice location, but VERY DIRTY

I liked how close the condo was to the beach and the wonderful walking trails along the beach. The resort itself is older, but reasonably kept up. The staff was fine. The first day we came back to the condo around 9 pm to find the door wide open with the door stop engaged. This was alarming as we had not been home all afternoon. No one was inside and nothing seemed to be missing. We called the office and they said they had not entered. We called the condo manager Linda and left a message which she returned the next day. The next day they ran a history search on the electronic key pad to see who had entered. It only showed entry the times we had entered. The only thing we could figure out is, although we believe we closed the door tightly, it did not latch and some wind came and opened the door. Anyway, it did not happen again, but it was a nerve racking beginning. Aside from that, the condo itself could use some updating, like new sheets (some were stained and torn) and mostly a VERY GOOD DEEP CLEANING. You could tell the floor had been swept and counters wiped down, but much of the condo was quite filthy like: dust caked on wicker table base, white fan in bathroom brown on controls and blades, alarm clock, top of AC control etc has a THICK layer of greasy dust, nightstands and drawers dusty, BIG dust bunnies on the walls etc. I know I could have called housecleaning, but I was in the condo most mornings while my husband was in conference and did not want the intrusion, extra dust kicked up, and the many hours it would have taken to get it clean. I did not let it ruin my wonderful time on Maui, but I would never rent this condo- or anything cleaned and maintained by this company- again.

We would have been happy to send the cleaner back in. Unfortunately, we were not given that opportunity until after you stay as this is the first time we are hearing about it. We just had a guest leave before you and there was not a complaint at all. It does say on the Pre-Arrival to let us know within 24 hours of your arrival, if there's anything we can address. We will most definitely schedule a deep clean. Best, MKVR

Reviewer Comments: Upon entering it was noted how large the condo is and how clean everything was. Loved that shampoo/conditioner was provided. Very satisfied overall however the electrical outlet situation is dire. There are no outlets right next to the bed/nightstand. Lighting is very dim throughout the living/sleeping area. Biggest downer for us...the large pool right outside our room was brrrrrr cold!

Maui El Dorado Never Disappoints

It wasn't as spotless as last year, lots of sand on the floors & trash behind a nightstand-easy to have missed, but still swell kept older furnishings. Towels and linens could use a refresh. The staff at this location is top notch. Efficient, friendly and always with the Aloha spirit of beautiful Maui. (Chanel!) I would recommend staying here if you like a quiet well kept property. The beach walk to other beaches is a plus. The grounds are well kept. Thanks again. Sending many blessing from the mainland. #mauistrong

Relaxing in Kaanapali

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really enjoyed my stay here. I arrived after 10pm, the night manager arrived quickly to get me to the unit and helped me carry my things in. I stayed in a studio towards the back of the property, it was quiet, had the amenities I wanted, and was a short walk to the beach, shops, pool, fitness center, and shops. I was always able to find space in the cabana area and the attendants were friendly and available. The beach area is beautiful, sun sets right there, many people went snorkeling, a seal went swimming by one afternoon checking out the beach goers. There are a number of shops within walking distance and Front Street is a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again. The only weird part, no roosters, I did not hear or see one.

Near the Beach, Garden View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We frequently go to Maui, and were happy to find this corner unit so close to the beach and Ka'anapali. We hoped there would be at least a peek-a-boo view of the ocean, which there wasn't. The view from the lanai is of a well-hidden parking structure - the only time it was bothersome is when we ate outside and the screeching of tires in the garage was pretty constant. It is an older unit with some wear and tear showing, but it was just fine for a long weekend. I am a walker and appreciated being able to do my usual trek to Ka'anapali or to Kahana. For people with physical limitations, be aware that there are a LOT of stairs to manage between the garage and the unit, and the unit to the golf course/beach.

Great vacation getaway!

We enjoyed the room and facilities. Everything was in the room that we might need. The staff that we interacted with were very friendly. We’d definitely recommend this place and would come back again.

Beautiful!

I am impressed with how clean this is!! Very welcoming. Had everything we needed. The cabana was amazing and provided everything right there so we didn’t have to walk back to our room all day. Helpful desk staff. We got a great deal from the onsite concierge, so enjoyed a beautiful sunset dinner cruise. Couldn’t be happier!
