A Private Oasis in the Movie Colony

Olive Oasis is tucked away in the unique Movie Colony of Palm Springs. You can relax in the pool or spa while enjoying the vast desertscape and sloping mountains. The house is less than a 5 minute drive away from a collection of casinos, shops, galleries and restaurants galore. Many Hollywood legends enjoyed the charm and mystery of this area, and some still do. Join them; head to Olive Oasis for a relaxing and unforgettable stay in Palm Springs.

Our beautiful mid-century modern house is completely renovated and fully furnished and comes with the amenities and comforts you would need on a vacation. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a colorful living room, spacious game room, open dining room, and beautiful kitchen. The private backyard is surrounded by tall hedges, so you can enjoy the spa, pool, fire pit, and grill in peace.

For security reasons, there are two forward-facing cameras in the front yard.

Dream House

Staying in this house was wonderful, relaxing, and very private. The house had everything we needed and the pool area was an oasis. This is the first house we have stayed in (over 12 years) where the hot tub/pool heat worked the way we were instructed and so simply! We all agreed we would love to stay here again.

Relaxing Oasis

The property is beautiful, clean, and a relaxing oasis. The backyard pool area and firepit were amazing.

Great location!

We loved the private pool and hot tub especially during COVID. It was convenient to get to downtown Palm Springs and grocery stores too! Lots of room and gorgeous views!

Great House for a Girls Trip

Relaxing stay

Our extended family of 7 had a wonderful stay at the Olive Oasis! It was clean, spacious, and had a wonderful backyard! We thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the pool floats, relaxing/dining outside, and the beautiful mountain view was a bonus! It was also very close to downtown Palm Springs which made it very convenient! We hope to stay here again very soon!

Wonderful vacation rental in Palm Springs

A group of friends rented this property in November 2022 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed this home. It was spacious, well provisioned, clean and a wonderful layout for entertaining. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were excellent also. This is the nicest home we have rented in Palm Springs. Location is location to downtown but in a very quiet neighborhood. The vacation coordinator was excellent to work with and communicated timely. We will be staying here again.

Home was close to everything we wanted, very user friendly and plenty of room inside and outside. We chose this home to remind us of the California style we grew up as kids. Very private with park nearby. Definitely would come back. Thanks

Wonderful house!

We came for a long weekend to celebrate my sister’s upcoming wedding! 6 girls and had so much space to spread out and really enjoy the property! Very clean and everything felt brand new. Pool, hot tub and fire pit were used daily as we were able to be outside in December! We will definitely be back to the Olive Oasis next time we come to Palm Springs. Great location and wonderful people! Thank you again!

Christmas family time

The house is lovely! Well appointed and spacious. The patio/pool are is also large sun drenched. My family joined and there was ample room for all to find a spot to read or for us to sit together. Very quiet neighborhood (which was great) and close to everything. We had two pooches and the house was perfect - an amazing park was right around the corner. Check in was a breeze and flexible which I appreciate. Thank you for making ours a wonderful stay.

Great Location

Great location for downtown Palm Springs. House was clean and well stocked with towels, kitchen and bathroom essentials. We did have an issue with the heating of the pool and spa. Linda was very responsive - even on Christmas Day! The issue was eventually resolved, Definitely recommend for any family looking for a vacation home in Palm Springs,

Wonderful

Completely agree with all the other reviews - place is even nicer than pictures suggest, everyone involved in running the place is really nice and responsive (they had refunded my security deposit less than 24 hours after we checked out!), the house has all the small things you don't think about, and it is even pet friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would 100% stay again. The only critical thing is that the backyard does not have much shaded area, but most people coming probably want to sun!

SEVEN girls from the South

My friends and I had THE MOST RELAXING time at Olive Oasis! We were greeted by the property manager who is so sweet and was available whenever we needed anything. We were close to just about everything, but we had a few things planned so a short Uber ride cost us less than $20 per ride. I’m so glad I chose this property and if I ever visit Palm Springs again, I’ll be staying here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10!!

Olive Oasis is first-rate

This was my first time doing a vacation rental so I was not sure what to expect. My expectations were exceeded in every way staying at Olive Oasis. The house manager was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The inside of the house is tastefully decorated and very well maintained. The outdoor space is perfectly laid out with a large firepit, jacuzzi, pool & grill for great entertaining. The pool was kept very clean during our stay for maximum enjoyment. The views of the mountains are spectacular and the landscaping is quite appealing. I will definitely be returning to Olive Oasis on my next trip to Palm Springs.

Wonderful Week

Everything about our stay was great. We were greeted upon arrival by a property management representative who gave us a full tour of the house and grounds which was really helpful. The house is well equipped with pretty much everything you might need, from paper products to soaps to seasonings for cooking. Everything was as advertised. The location is great. We like to walk, and walked to the downtown area several times. Despite the cool weather we were still able to use the pool and hot tub several times, and enjoyed sitting outside in the sun in the morning. The house is large and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. TV service includes most premium channels. The kitchen is well equipped, and we were able to eat many of our meals at home.

All that was promised and more!

House was great and so was property management team. House was very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and everything worked as promised - A/C (it was 122F outside), big pool, spa, kitchen, laundry, etc. All the “big things” were as promised but also good were the many little things - paper supplies, kitchen tools, pool toys, BBQ, etc. Quiet street with high private walls in the backyard made for worry free fun for kids and dog in the yard. Two master suites and three additional beds all had top notch foam mattresses so no “bad back mornings” as often get with rentals or hotels. Not a single thing could have been better - this was not just a home run; it was a grand slam for us! Pros - ALL / Cons - NONE!

Just what we were looking for!

We are four high school classmates (from a long time ago) who were looking for a warm escape. This house was just what we hoped it would be. Four bedrooms, two of them en-suite. The kitchen was well laid out, and well supplied. We spent most of our time outside, in the large, warm pool, and the hot tub. The property manager, Linda, met us at the house to let us in and show us where things were and how they worked. The front door had a keyless entry system. Location was great. The back yard offered privacy. We were a little disappointed that we could not put any music on outside, but there is a strict noise restriction for all short term rentals. In short, this house was perfect for our group, and I am looking forward to renting this house again.

Great house, unfriendly neighbors

The house was beautiful with an outdoor pool, hot tub and fire pit. When we were met at the house by the house manager, we were told that we couldn't play music outside because Palm Springs is anti-rentals. Technically, if they hear music, they could turn us in and we would be kicked out. My family (20 something adults) took it fine, but it bothered me. A pool, fire pit and grill without some music doesn't make sense. Would like to have known before renting, I would have gone somewhere else. Also, no smoking on property meant no cigar by the fire pit at night.

The house was very nice and well maintained. Plenty of room to spread out and had good sleeping arrangements.Kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils. Bill the manager was very nice and helpful. The host answered all our questions and got back to us right away. We look forward to a return visit.
