This cabin was the ultimate lakeside retreat. The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. The host communication was seamless. We really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

What a beautiful home and property. Loved how secluded we felt. Plenty of space in the rental. Open floor concept. Extra chairs for the back deck on wall holders. Great idea. And we all got our workout on the stairway to the beach.Marcia, thank you for the use of your rowboat. Great for fishing. Everyone enjoyed ourselves. Great family vacation. Would highly recommend this listing as long as stairs are not a problem.

We were slightly surprised by the distance from the lake to the house. The pictures are great on the web page but they do not show the steep rise to and from the beautiful little beach. Everything you could need for your stay was supplied, or I brought. A fly swatter or two and a rubber spatula would be great additions.The grown kids and grandkids, found many things to occupy their time, the beach, kayaking, playing foosball and all the board games. The 2 year old on the other hand loved the stairs going up. We all got our exercise running up after her. It was a nice relaxing week away from home together with the entire family.

Great visit!

We had a wonderful visit! The cabin is lovely and well stocked for our long weekend with family. The beach and lake were lovely and great for a visit with young kids (shallow, sandy beach and quiet lake). Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful cabin on private lake

We had a wonderful, very comfortable stay. The scenery and views to the lake are beautiful. The cabin is very well-appointed and we were very comfortable and cozy. A great place to spend Christmas.

Wonderful stay

The cabin is beautiful and has all necessities. We enjoyed our 8-day stay. The lake and the beach are real gems. Owners responded right away to any request. Would definitely come back!

Friends ski-cation

Property was prefect for a quick weekend trip with friends. It was a quick 40 minutes drive to Granite Peak for skiing and big enough to have a great après-ski.

Beautiful Cabin on crystal clear lake

We enjoyed the three level cabin with a deck overlooking the trees and lake. The lake water was very clear and you could see tadpoles swimming around. Truely a relaxing family getaway.

Annual Buddies weekend

Rest, relax and chat for the weekend....catching up with long time friends. This place is perfect for that and the healthy stockpile of firewood makes the evening wind down lovely.

Family vacation

The cabin is fully stocked and has plenty of room. The locations is great 20 min to Stevens point or Waupaca. The lake is beautiful, clean and clear, perfect for swimming. The whole family enjoyed their stay, grandparents to grandchildren. Thank you!

Wonderful memories

We stayed at this beautiful cabin July 2024. Everything was very nice. Check in was very easy, cabin was well stocked with kitchen utensils, linens, towels, bathroom supplies etc. The beach on the property is so nice and clean. We had many things to occupy our time there. We most definatly will recommend this cabin and hope to return again. We were well satisfied!

Wonderful vacation spot

This was our first time trying VRBO and we absolutely loved this log cabin on the lake. Jon and Christina have thought of everything. The place is beautiful and well equiped. We were probably most impressed with the lake and its sandy beach and warm extremely clear water. We had lots of fun catching fish and trying all the water toys they provided for us. We're already talking about booking for next year as we had a great time.

Annual Family Vacation

My husband and I host an annual family vacation for our children and grandchildren. Glacier Pines was the perfect setting for our time together. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked which made family dinners a breeze to prepare, serve, and enjoy. We enjoyed snuggles with our grandchildren on the deck while enjoying morning coffee. The best feature is the beautiful lake! Sandy beach, clear & clean water. We enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. Excellent communication from the owners too. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful hidden gem

This property is a stunning cabin set in the middle of the woods. The cabin itself is well appointed with everything you could possibly need, including SPACE! The sand beach and lake were wonderful for kids who love to splash around! Please be aware that in order to get to the beach, you must take a pretty steep set of stairs which may be tough for those who are literally faint of heart. We would recommend this cabin to anyone, especially large families who want to relax without being on top of each other.
