We loved our stay in this house. First of all, Magdalena is incredibly responsive and makes sure everything is perfect. Secondly, the house is beautiful, offers every possible comfort, and the garden is superb, with the added bonus of visits from toucans, hummingbirds, and magnificent butterflies! I highly recommend it!

Magdalena is AMAZING. She made the whole process easy, relaxing and secure. The house is amazing. There we fresh coconuts throughout our stay. Loved the whole experience.

This home was everything and more. Our host was so helpful every step of the way. We arrived much later than expected so she had the AC on and the hot tub ready. The kitchen was fully equipped with our needs and very clean. Overall it was so perfectly comfortable for us it was hard to leave for the rest of our travels. She really is a super host. Magdalena was the best host I have ever come across! She was so helpful and gave so many great recommendations. She went above and beyond to help us out with everything including transportation and a late check out. It was such an incredible property and Magdalena was the cherry on top :)

First off, Magdalena is the greatest host we have ever had by far. She was amazing. She communicated with us through phone, and then as we got comfortable, she checked on us every single day! The place is beyond what pictures can show. Up on the side of the mountain, the view is breathtaking every morning! Hot tub was a blast, pool was immaculate, and there was plenty of room for our family of 4. (Can house more if needed, but everyone had their own room. There is a really cool guest house across the driveway, but we never needed it.. Housekeeping service was top notch and they were so sweet. This is the nicest house and nicest view with the nicest host we have ever experienced! The trip to La Fortuna is about 30-35 minutes, but there are plenty of restaurants and sodas within 10 minutes of the house. There are several smaller towns with 15 minutes that have activities and food. We WILL be back to Costa Rica and we WILL stay here!!! LOVED IT!!

We loved everything about this home and Magdalena is a wonderful host, great communication and helpful recommendations! The home was clean and beautifully furnished. The infinity pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. The view is absolutely incredible, the photos don’t do it justice. Expect about a 35-40 minute drive to activities in La Fortuna and we would recommend that you rent a 4x4 SUV as some of the roads would be a bit challenging to drive on without one (Magdalena recommended someone to help us with the car rental and that process went very smoothly and very happy we went with her recommendation!)

This was an amazing property. The grounds and views were stunning. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was so well stocked with everything we could need. It was very helpful to have laundry on site. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay at this magical home again some day.

Our stay was perfect from beginning to end! The home is beautiful and the setting is breathtaking. Pictures can't do it justice. Gorgeous weather and amazing breezes allowed us to take full advantage of the pool and outdoor space, but there are enough covered areas that we would have enjoyed it even in the rain. Magdalena was super helpful and set us up with provisions to begin our stay, including farm fresh eggs! We were close enough to La Fortuna to do multiple excursions without any issue, and loved to be staying a little off the beaten path because everything was so private and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic!!! The location was great, the hosts set up a Christmas tree in advance for our family. 10 out of 10. We say wild parrots and toucans from their amazing porch!!!

Beautiful house! We had a wonderful time. The only thing that wasn’t great was one of the bedrooms is completely separate from the house (the one with two queen beds). We didn’t realize this and vacationed with another family and our boys were planning to stay in that room- but we couldn’t have them staying in a room separated from the rest is the house! We wish we would have known that before booking. And the house is more 30-60 mins away from La Fortuna, different from the map posted on the website. But we still had a great time!

Thank you so much for your feedback. The separate bedroom is designed to offer additional privacy and comfort, which many guests truly appreciate. In your case, the reservation was made for six guests, but eight arrived, so we prepared the home based on the number listed in the booking since we were not aware of the additional guests. We are also located about 35 minutes from La Fortuna, which provides a quieter, safer setting with beautiful views, something many of our guests value. We truly appreciate your stay and your comments.

Great stay for our group of seven

Beautiful property with amazing views. It was perfect for our group of 7 including kids and adults. Pool and covered hot tub (important in rainy season) were awesome - great place to relax after a busy day of adventuring around Arenal volcano. Host was very helpful, even providing fresh eggs at arrival. The only watchout is it is a bit far from everything - restaurants are 20 minutes away and La Fortuna was 40 minutes. Overall we had a great time!

Our family of 6 (kids 10, 12, 14, 16) had an INCREDIBLE stay! Mag is an over-the-top hospitable host, meeting us when we arrived and showing us around. There were farm fresh eggs, coffee and beverages in the fridge to greet us. Leading up to trip and during she was super responsive and helpful with questions about the property and the general area. Once, when we couldn't figure out how to get the World Cup game on, Mag personally came to show us.The location itself is stunning, doing more than justice to the photos on the listing. Beautiful landscaping, the pool, and patio with hot tub added to the relaxed feeling. Inside A/C kept things comfortable. For bedrooms, our younger two stayed in the small carriage house a 20 second walk across the driveway. It has two queen beds and they did great. Kitchen is well organized and fully equipped including an air fryer and espresso machine, both of which we used.A couple of tips. We had a 4x4 Toyota Prado and we needed it to access the driveway. Be aware that the location is at least 40 minutes east of La Fortuna and around an hour to the hanging bridges and some of the hot springs. For us the relaxed location was 100% worth it and the drive proved easy but it's good to know if you plan on lots of excursions. We planned a couple early mornings out but were also intentional to have slow mornings and early evenings back at the house to take advantage of the amazing setting. Thank you Mag - we would absolutely return!

What can I say about this property….the absolutely stunning views matched by an absolutely amazing home made our stay feel like we were at home. Magdelina was absolutely amazing host and Esmeralda took pride in making sure our stay was above expectations. Strongly and highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the views of Costa Rica!

Paradise! Highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house and the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The kitchen is well-stocked. The hosts could not have been more wonderful. The 30-40 minute drive to activities in Fortuna was totally worth it to have the seclusion and natural beauty.
