The property features 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, A/C in each bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, high‑speed WiFi (200 Mbps), Smart TVs, BBQ area, green spaces, gardens, and a private pool. This gated villa offers a peaceful, secure setting—far enough to relax, yet close to all major attractions in La Fortuna/Arenal.
The property is close to La Fortuna downtown, very private and quiet. Relax by the pool with a glass of wine or just a beer listening your favorite music, reading a book or just having a nice time with your love ones.
If you want to walk around just 15 minutes walk you will get to La Fortuna river where you can plan a picnic, swim in the river and even try some fishing, you will see plenty of fishes in the water.

Wonderful secluded place to stay with our family. The house was secure and we loved being able to hear the monkeys, see toads, bats and many birds.

It was a nice property for the price. We were there in the rainy season, and to be honest, there was a bit of a urine smell around the property (not sure what the septic system was like). We were not permitted to flush toilet paper, though we understand that can be common in CR. One of the beds was missing any blankets, and they were prompt to bring them. On our last day, there was a blown fuse with the electrical that prevented the security gate from opening and us leaving. We were able to communicate with the property managers to have them come and override it so that we could leave and make it to our next destination.

We loved the outdoor pool and cooking area. We enjoyed the privacy of being outside of town but still close enough to all activities. The management property was very responsive and we booked a few different activities through them. Overall, we loved our stay here.

Clean and a great central location. The pool was very well used by the kids. The forest was loud! But overall a great place to stay.

Host was very attentive and easy to reach. Lots of different birds in the private backyard. It was very peaceful, experienced howler monkeys directly across the street.

This is a cute little house, not far from the town of La Fortuna. I love that it was off the beaten path, but yet you could get to the little restaurant on the corner in about a two minute drive. From that restaurant, you can see the volcano clearly if it is a more clear day. I would recommend renting a car if you are staying here as it is not walking distance to town or to nearby adventures. Management was able to arrange that rental car for us which made it easy as well as the transfer back to the airport in Liberia. We only stayed a couple of days and were busy on our adventures so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the pool, but I did get to walk around the yard and take pictures of all of the pretty flowers and watch the hummingbirds come to feed on some of them. It is on the same road as the sloth territory so that might be something to put in your schedule if you stay here. The house is small, but perfect for a family with kids of any age.

Amazing property, spacious accommodations with a secluded vibe. 15 minute walk to Playa Negra and a cute mini market. The plunge pool was fantastic to cool off on hot Caribbean days! Lots of outdoor seating on a large deck. Check in was super easy. Automatic gate around plenty of parking.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Fortuna! The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful and the house is well taken care of and comfortable. The pool and deck were our favorite spots to watch the monkeys, toucans and macaws. The neighbor’s adorable pig joined us on walks down the path outside our villa. The location is a very remote part of town, so be sure to have transportation worked out. We loved every minute!

Great house and location
Loved our stay. Close to town but not right in it so got to enjoy being in nature with monkeys playing in the tree across the street. The pool was great and house had everything we needed.

My husband and I had a wonderful time with friends and our daughter during our stay at Villa Tropical! Our hosts were easy to reach and accommodating even during a power outage that affected the area. The house was clean and cozy and the gardens and pool were amazing! We couldn't get enough of the beautiful birds flitting in and out, enjoying the gorgeous flowers and watching the monkeys from the front yard. Thank you for a perfect refuge!!

The house was great and we would love to go back! We liked that it wasn't directly in La Fortuna, but was only a short drive to everything. The backyard was stunning and the host was very communicative. We booked horseback riding, ziplining and the mistico hanging bridges through him directly. It was very convenient!

Great Stay
We had an amazing stay at this home. Very beautiful home and secluded. Outdoor area was beautiful and we felt very safe here. Only a short drive to downtown. Would highly recommend!

Great Home in La Fortuna
We had a great time staying here. The pool is amazing and everything in the house was very clean. We felt safe and enjoyed how close we were to town. The kids ages 6 and 4 had a blast.

The pool area was very nice. The fact that the 3rd bathroom is separate from house should be more obvious in property description. Kitchen would be better with hot water and lighting over the sink. Hooks behind doors would help with lack of space for belongings.

Perfect location for Family stay in La Fortuna
Had an amazing time here. Kids loved the pool. Back patio was amazing. The place is super clean and the most comfy sheets in all the places we stayed in Costa Rica. Outdoor bathroom and outdoor shower was awesome. Can't say anything bad about this place. My family of 6 loved it.
