This quaint cottage is located "on the sand" - 3007 Avenue F Unit 4 at 30th Street on beautiful Holmes Beach. It is the upstairs unit (1 of 2) with a private deck and direct Gulf views. The cottage is very comfortable and sleeps 4 with plenty of space. The cottage is hidden away on a dead end street away from it all, yet close to shopping and restaurants.

The unit has an indoor and shared outdoor shower, fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. The grounds are filled with exotic, tropical plants and a private guest path to the beautiful blue water and white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island.

There is a free trolley that picks up throughout the day and evening located just one block away. The unit is centrally located between Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria where there are also several shopping areas and many restaurants. St. Armand's Circle, Robinson Preserve, Bradenton's Riverwalk, DeSoto National Park and Ringling Museum all make for great local day trips!

Join us at Holmes Beach for the most beautiful sunsets and experience the tradition of Old Florida.

These are older, charming units built in the 50's that we continually update. Housekeepers clean at the beginning and end of each guest stay.

Can't beat the gulf views and the sunsets....

We had a great relaxing vacation on the beach. We loved being able to just walk out to the beach. We stayed here for our 40th wedding anniversary. Beach was in the back yard.

Beautiful ocean view just a few steps from the beach!! Perfect place to stay for the week that was close to the water but also a quick drive to shops and food around the island! Hosts provided beach supplies which I thought was awesome. Having the washer/dryer on site was also a big plus!!

Once we got over some of the cleanliness issues along things just thrown into the twin bedroom closet and the mess in the utility closet we were able to settle into the Pelican Perch. The view of the beach and the access was good. However it was a little confusing when it came to just who had the right to use beach chairs and toys as it was placed right in midst of the downstairs renters outdoor area. The close access to the Anna Maria Island Centre made it easy to walk to Walgreens and a variety of restaurants misc. shops. Overall we were happy with our stay.

We absolutely loved this property!! We have stayed downstairs twice, which was nice, however having the balcony to view beach from was huge for us. The only thing I didn't like (and it's certainly not a deal breaker) it would have been nice to have a curtain or shade over the entry door as the sun does beat down into the cottage. Overall this was a great experience for us and we will be back!!!

We had the best time! We were close to the beach, our place was as described, beds were comfortable and everything we needed was provided. We were close to everything and our host was responsive.

Beautiful beach, peaceful location, and we enjoyed our family time together. The unit could use some updates, including more comfortable beds, a repair to the loose outlet in the twin bedroom, and clarification of the checkout instructions (which referenced a dishwasher that wasn’t present). The patio door was secured with a wooden dowel rather than a traditional lock, and parking was tight for larger vehicles. Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated the location.

Location of the property and beach quality were both exceptional. The property itself was adequate. Expect a beach house. Accommodations are basic, clean, with everything you need to enjoy the beach and surrounding area.
