Overall the house was good. We were bummed about the extra fee for the pool and hot tub and it was super chilly so we really needed it warm which took a few days to figure out but host was responsive. House worked pretty well for kids, a lock higher up on door to the pool was our only issue!. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities and the beds were very comfy.

Home was in a questionable neighborhood. This is no fault of the owner, however there were neighbors yelling at each other intermittently throughout our stay, abandoned houses nearby, etc. The house was not kept up well. It was clean, however it was certainly not new. The hot tub was not functioning at all throughout our stay, and the owner stopped communicating about it at the halfway point of our stay. The pool worked fine. The house was well stocked with supplies.

Here’s a professional, balanced response you can post—addressing concerns without sounding defensive: Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We’re glad to hear that the home was clean, well stocked, and that you were able to enjoy the pool during your stay. We’re sorry to learn that certain aspects of the surrounding area and the condition of the home did not meet your expectations. While neighborhood dynamics are outside of our control, we always strive to provide a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable environment for our guests, and we take comments like yours seriously as we continue to improve. Regarding the hot tub, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We understand how important that amenity can be, and we regret that it was not functioning properly during your stay. We also acknowledge your concern about communication and will be reviewing our processes to ensure more consistent and timely updates moving forward. We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us enhance the experience for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you all
